Also the positions of saturn. SW has his in libra, MB has his in virgo (as well as his NN). Maybe as BM has mentioned, MB is able to work in a detailed and practical, earthy way. MB expresses this in particular in communication (3rd house). SW has his in libra, which is an exalted position. He is able to work in a balanced way, maybe considering both sides. He too expressed it in his communication as well (3rd house) but maybe there is more intensity about it as it is conj pluto. Or even emotionally in a rational way, saturn conj moon. I also notice that libra is intercepted in his chart. Saturn rules his 6th house. Cf MB whose saturn is sextiled by uranus and rules his DC.

Yeah, I heard about the compulsory voting. A friend of mine got fined for not voting in his town elections.

This sounds like bs but voting turnouts over here are worse if it is raining on the day.

This will also sound like bs, but way back when, my friend's sister felt like she had to go and vote because she was getting hassle off people when she said she wasn't going to bother. So she shut her eyes and stabbed the pencil on the paper and made a cross where it landed. I often think about that, and wonder how much more sophistication than this there is in the overall process.

The Tories will get in next time because people are fed up with Labour who have promised more than they have delivered. The economy isn't looking rosy so people in marginal Midland seats will vote with their pockets. In economically weak times people tend to vote Conservative. I would go down Ladbrokes or Paddy Power with this one tomorrow, but I doubt the odds are that good, because anyone who pays minimal attention to such matters have probably reached the same conclusion. Maybe something will happen that will change my mind, but I'm not expecting it.

Yes, not voting attracts a fine, I think of about $200. I personally quite like the compulsory voting system, it forces people maybe to consider who they should vote for and anyway, you can always vote informal if you don't agree with anyone, you're not forced to choose anyone. We're a lazy lot so if there was no compulsory voting, I think no one would go. I'm personally quite happy to vote myself and have a say.

As for UK, well Blair and Labor have been in power since 1997, that's a long time. We had the conservatives (Liberal Party) from 1996 until last year's elections, and that was a long time. Kids that are in their late teens/early 20's just didn't know anything else. Unlike the UK, there was no change in leadership during that time.

EDIT - you're right about conservatives and weak economic times too.

So who is your pick for the U.S election?

Oh, btw, I liked this:

quote:
Another thing I noticed is they both like sex. I suppose every sco does, more so for these boys maybe

The Cap Venus/Mars thread has questioned my cynicism on this being in anyway outstanding. Have you read it?

Ha about cap mars/venus! I can't really contribute to that post myself because I can't think of anyone with that combination, you *obviously* do! At least mb is good enough to ask for more detail...

quote:
So who is your pick for the U.S election?

Who I'd like to win or who I think will win? I haven't been following it closely, to tell you the truth, I haven't even seen moving footage of Palin yet. Im not sure the selections of the VP has made any difference because of not watching but prior to the selections of the VP, I thought it would have been line-ball quite frankly.

As for the sex comment , MB openly talks about rooting all the time, SW talks about his relationships a lot (libran moon see?) and how it has or not worked out, of course, having girls must mean procreative activities follow right? (esp for sco stelliums) SW is more diplomatic about the sexual arena. Also mars in 5th has an impact, he talks of 5th house issues.

Sco Web, I asked mblover a few questions a few months back. Would you mind answering a similar set of questions please. Thanks in advance.

1. Do you feel any cancer influence coming from your chart given that the majority of planets lie in the 4th?
2. How do you feel you relate to people? Is your social circle small or big? How would you deal with someone like me?
3. What is the rest of your family in terms of astrology? Are they similar to you or different?
4. How do you feel about being a scorpio and how do you deal with all that sco energy?
5. What would your ideal job be? I said to mb something arts/entertainment because of the 5th house emphasis, so for you, something to do with homes? (4th house emphasis).

Questions for both:
SW: do you feel an emphasis on your cap mars, given that it is a singleton?
MB: likewise re virgo saturn. Also leo jupiter.

23, I'm going to answer your questions in stages.

1. Do you feel any cancer influence coming from your chart given that the majority of planets lie in the 4th?

My home life up until I was 16 was chaotic.

When I was about 11, my mom (a Pisces) became really mentally unstable when her father died (a Cancer), and it seems like she never recovered.

She became violent with my father (a Gemini) and demanded a divorce.

I had played guitar since I was 12, and a man she met after the divorce (a Scorpio) became my music mentor when I was 14. They had plans to marry, but when he found out that she was cheating on him, he shot and killed himself in our house when I was 15. My mom refused to enter the house for a week. While the city provided a clean-up crew to vacuum the pieces of brain splattered everywhere, it became my responsibility to pick up and trash the bloody mattress, sheets, carpet, and repaint the blood sprayed wall. One Scorpio cleaning up after the bloody death of another Scorpio, how appropriate.

Offhand, I'm not sure of the transits, but the violent suicide of my mother's Scorpio boyfriend and the meeting of my first love (a Taurus) occurred in the same month, May 1998.

The following year, October of 1999, when I was 16, my father died of a myocardial infarction, while I was in an intense relationship with a Capricorn (Capricorn + Scorpio = Father + Death) and while transiting Saturn was in my natal 10th house.

My grandmother (a Pisces) died this past March. My mom seems to be falling into even worse mental shape. She lost her job last year and still hasn't found a new one. Her current Pisces boyfriend is a significantly stablizing part of her life but I'm afraid he may leave her because of her rampant alcoholism.

Much of why I'm moving back to Philadelphia is to be there to support her, hopefully encouraging her to find a job and cope with the death of her mother.

So, this is how my loaded 4th house has been a part of my life. Parents and home life has been a mess. I've had little patience for my mother ever since I was a child. She has always been a weak Pisces, people constantly take advantage of her, and she became overwhelmed with her parenting responsibilities and gave up on me at an early age. I see her as being pathetic, and time and time again, it has fallen on my shoulders to guide her. I feel like I must be her parent.

For myself I can definitely pick up the ASC differences when I have talked to them. Sco Web comes across a bit more flamboyant, MB maybe a bit more sensitive and quieter. However, you see, the stellium for MB falls in the 5th, for Sco Web its in the 4th, so maybe in reality with their energies they might be the other way around (remember folks, ASCs are just projections).

I agree both ways.. When it's time to use the 5th house, I am a big time entertainer. But otherwise, I wear the 'mask'. Even, I feel bad about my own mask of Cancer rising because I am not so family oriented loving man, but that's how I am perceived. I guarantee you regardless of how much you know of my chart.. When you meet me, you will not notice anything you thought of ¡K because that would be all your objective analysis.. and real life emotions will be a very different experience..And, have you thought about how I will undress you without removing your clothes?

The first thing I did when I talked to MB was have a punch up.

punch = agreession = mars = sex.. in the end, it ends up with some good lust and good sex.. ļ

Another thing I noticed is they both like sex. I suppose every sco does, more so for these boys maybe.

Sex.. It's how I project the deepest level of Faith, Love and Spirituality..

I wonder if this conj pattern (and earthy people; ie both are opposite to me) is why I seem to gravitate around them on this website.

Hmm, additionally it's your natural Aqua investigative personality as well as your own analysis on what if I were dating a man with this type of charts? How in the hell will I deal with them so that it can be a peaceful partnership?... and that is your Libra 7th house moon keeping analyzing the way to create partnership or friendship with both of us..

deuxantares

MB seems more private, maybe because of his Scorp moon. His big 3 are all water.
MB's moon, venus and mars are all in Scorp? I'm guessing that it's easier for him to find what fulfills him emotionally, romantically and sexually because there are no conflicting needs.

I agree with you, deuxantares. There hasn't been a single event in my life in which I was confused about. I know exactly what I did.. Good or Bad.. I always knew exactly what I was doing and it is not a good thing because you can't remove memories of your past in which I made mistakes or did bad things.. but I knew before and after the fact..

You are also right.. I would know what fulfills me and I take action towards 100% fulfillment..

23

Yes MB is probably more "focussed" and able to fulfill what he needs easier. MB is more pointed in his discussion, more focussed or fixed, reserved, I can't explain. Heavier maybe? I say "heavy" in relation to me as I'm all air and water and earth can feel slow and more intert to me at times. I was thinking that maybe Sco Web is a bit more abstract or lighter or freer with his expression or something, he talks about what he feels - libra moon.

Also I noticed that I tend to gravitate to people on this website who have planets in my 1st, 7th and 8th plus I have pluto conj DC, so psychoanalysing people is a bad habit.

Yes. I agree. Laser Focus + Heavy = Fixed, Reserved.. I am very stubborn.. But I know my stubbornness is so different from Taurus, Leo and Aqua.. Considering All Fixed planets in Fixed house creates a huge stubborn personality. But, being all Water I know how to twist around myself, and act as a Gemini, Virgo, Sag or Pisces..

On the contrary, SC Web is definitely way more open and loving individual than me.

mblover has the ability to go into great depths on one aspect of discussion. For example, the nature of Virgo, Scorpio, etc. I would always read his posts on the archetypes of the signs.

BM, you know me quite well And, You are one fun individual. I would have to say very broad minded.

Scorpionic Web

I have to say that MB's Sun, Moon, Merc, Venus, Mars, and Uranus all in Scorpio is very interesting and definitely begs for this Scorpio case study thread.

That is your Libra moon speaking and balancing out the other person first.. and then focus on self.. I love how Libra moon reacts in balancing others..

23
opinions on Borat

There are very few men on this earth I respect. And, he is one of them

scorpios are baboons

It depends on how superficial or deep remark would be.. If superficial, it will be ignored.. If in depth, then I will 'retaliate' with the other side of Objective analysis so that you can get it in your head that 'Scorpios are Not baboons'

[i] think the moon makes a major difference to how these two play out myself. It really does change the complexion of the two. I have to look at the charts in more detail. But I think this is a very good example as to how sensitive human beings in terms of personality and otherwise are to astrology. [i/]

I agree with you.. Moon makes a major difference in how ppl project..And, I am so happy my Moon is close to Sun.. Good or Bad.. I will project with 100%.. But, I think way more deeper when needed in the most complex situations of life.. and my thinking goes into infinite dimensions.. Did you notice that Uranus in Scorp in between all five planets?

But I agree, I feel first and then think.. However, before I project in real life - I would have done enough Sco/Aqua type probing..

23, to continue with your questions:

2. How do you feel you relate to people? Is your social circle small or big? How would you deal with someone like me?

A) How do you feel you relate to people?

I prefer to keep things superficial with friends. I hate when I feel pressured to discuss my bad moods. Advice has proven worthless to me, so good times are the only thing I want friends and family to see; those who are closest to me never hear how I really feel because I've always ended up regretting the results of admitting my thoughts. I'm only honest with girlfriends, because any love worth experiencing demands complete truth. Yet again, I ultimately suffer for my honesty, but I can't give or expect anything less with the women I date. I have no problem being honest on this website because I'm comfortable in my anonymity.

B) Is your social circle small or big?

Small, I don't extend myself much. I'm perfectly content with not making any new friends at the party.

C) How would you deal with someone like me?

Cautiously. And, as friends, I'd probably treat you superficially like I treat everyone else. Conjunct Moons are amazingly beautiful in good times, but can create a mutual emotional blind-spot when things get heated. Our squared Suns fed through trined fire ascendants makes me think situations might get out of control pretty quickly. I picture a firey volley of misunderstanding.

I know an Aqua Sun, Libra Moon girl. We've always been positive and have never been angry with each other, but we always get our wires crossed, and we sort of stopped talking. She is brilliant, and I love to observe her style, but I could never tell if we "got" each other and with time I had lost some patience with mere faith that she understands. Our Libra Moons are very loosely conjunct at 8 degrees, so I just hope that in our hearts, we do indeed understand each other. She has Scorpio Rising, and with all of my Scorpio, perhaps her and I are a bit too cryptic for each other.

I probably shouldn't make comparisons. One placement can completely alter expressions of other placements, so I try to avoid astrological prejudice and give every person their own due opportunity.

Scorpionic Web - I'm terribly sorry to hear what has happened to you re family and the past it is very sad. I just hope things improve for you and your mum, it must have been a terrible burden upon you when growing up. I just hope that there is some sort of resolution that can occur from this.

Astrologically speaking, I think the issues concerning your mum has to do obviously with your moon. An airy moon means that somehow you must have had to detach emotionally from the situation concerning your mum. Furthermore, the moon is in libra, maybe you saw your mum as indecisive, dad too maybe because saturn is in libra (even though it is exalted). Your moon is conj the IC ruler, pluto which gave obviously an intensity to the situation. Then on top of that there is the looser conj of saturn which may shows either restriction concerning your mother and your emotional restriction. Also your mother being a pisces must have a good chance of having her sun fall in your 8th house, which would deeply intensify and complicate your relationship with her. However, the fact that you stand by her indicates maybe her sun might fall in the 7th. The ruler of the 8th is neptune for you and this is in sextile with your libra stellium but if both neptune and moon are quincunx to your chiron (if you allow a large orb for the moon), so there obviously there was issues to do with pain and your adjustment to it in a public way (10th) and to do with hurts maybe early in your life (rx). Obviously having Sco IC and the planets in the 4th adds a lot of issues concerning your family. Having Ura there doesn't really sound lovely to me though even though the other planets do seem more or less "positive" but how they relate to your situation I don't know. Well the sun is essentially you and you maybe are a thinking person (conj merc) that stays optimistic (conj jupiter) and deals with situations in a diplomatic fashion (conj venus). Maybe the 4th house planets is you dealing with the situation and shows maybe your preoccupation with home. The good thing is that none of them are retrograde, showing that you can move forward. In fact, none of your planets are retrograde, how odd! (probably good for your situation). I suppose a way of yourself is maybe to review your past or reconnect with your family or show your emotions in a social environment (Cancer NN in 11th) (which you seem to be doing) and somehow to avoid the usage of your mars as it is pretty close to your SN.

Its probably dribble what I said but I hope you can take something away from it.

Sco Web -
(A) Yes anonymity here is great. The amount of things I blurt out on this website that I would dare not say in real life
I suppose not wanting to talk about bad moods is something that everyone goes through but again I suspect its a libran moon issue, the emotional detachment from emotions. I tend to talk a lot about my emotions but unlike you, I think not having saturn nearby helps me. Your emotions must be intense, pluto likes to make them secret maybe, saturn likes to restrict what you say. Also I have noticed that your mars is the only earth planet which is a singleton, not sure how this might relate to a "bad" mood.
(B) Well gemini rules your 11th, it falls in sco/4th conj sun. So I'd say your friendships are few, intense and very close to you (sun).

(C) I think part of the superficiality is actually caused by your Aqu DC. Maybe not liking to emotionally involve and keeping the distance. Ura being in sag would add a lot of independence and the need of space. I've just noticed it's unaspected as well.
I'm not sure if things would be that "firey" between you and me. The fact that we have fire asc, yes, it'd add a bit of heat but we don't have exactly squaring suns and mercuries. As I have mentioned my NN is 18 deg Sco, my Vx is 16 deg sco, you have three quite prominent planets hovering in the vicinity of these points which might give a sense of direction for us in a relationship. I think the problem in "our relationship" however would be my saturn squ your pluto (which deposits your stellium inc sun) and your mars squ my pluto but I've got just as a bad aspects with long term friends. However, I don't think any angst as such would be caused by the sco planets themselves to me. As long as you don't have a possibly conj ASC like me and your merc/sun squaring my merc/sun like my mum you should be ok
However, I certainly do understand about cross wires. I definitely feel that with my mother, but that's a whole new thread!

Thank you very much for contributing. I got think of a few more things to ask but if I do and you find it too personal, you are of course are under no obligation to reveal anything. Sometimes I feel I might prod you guys too much.

I agree both ways.. When it's time to use the 5th house, I am a big time entertainer....

You saucy....knave! Seriously, I don't know what has possessed you to carry on like this. Remember this I'm TAKEN. Yes, the questions I ask are intrusive and very personal but given my relationship status, I am myself not at liberty to think of you as anything but a lab rat for this Remember who the uranus is in this relationship here! (damn, damn! that point didn't work)

PS what happens if I'm very unattractive, would you "undress" me then? :P

In relation to the other part of the question, yes, of course it would be different in reality. Reality and places bends people in a 3-D situation. I've talked about this with others on this website,: for example, if you meet a famous person, they are usually very different to what you see of them on TV in terms of temprament, the face is the same but the rest of them isn't. So of course, I have my pre-/mis-conceptions of you (and yours of me) and of course it would be completely different if I met you in reality, which is WHY I am asking you these questions in the comfort in my own home from the other side of the world and avoiding a possibly horrible clash

punch = agreession = mars = sex.. in the end, it ends up with some good lust and good sex.. ļ
Not necessarily, sometimes it does operate like that where hatred and love really are the same point of a circle but trust me, there have been men that I hate with no inch of lust involved.

Hmm, additionally it's your natural Aqua investigative personality..
Dating - see comment above
Yes, the libran moon in the 7th, it isn't the healthiest place to have it. Compulsory maintainence of relationships with people, even with ones that I don't like in reality. I read somewhere that I might go gay with the moon in 7th - LOL! (...then I'll be safe...) Yes and being an Aqu I love to observe, if you only knew how much I can pick up over others in reality. I've also noticed that my uranus and sun/merc fall on "research" stars, I have to find them.

.. I am very stubborn...
You a gemini, a mutable?! LOL! Maybe you're water at below zero degrees celcius (32 F for you Yanks). I would say that you are naturally stubborn and maybe cardinal in nature, specifically aries. Conj is associated with aries, it is the first aspect. Would you agree?
Yes SW is very open and gives a lot information too.

scorpios are baboons
Maybe I know you too well It's the uranus on sun/moon, uranus is intuitive, I think I might know you better than you think I suspect SW would be reacting very differently, of course he might retaliate but I think he'd detach himself more and then maybe present both sides of the arguments as to why or why not scorpios are baboon. See , if someone said that about Aquarians, I'd probably do that. Also you have that stellium which might make you self-focussed and see things in one way. I've got lots of oppositions in my chart.

But, I think way more deeper when needed in the most complex situations of life.. and my thinking goes into infinite dimensions.. Did you notice that Uranus in Scorp in between all five planets?
Yes, I did notice. Run 23 Run!

This is the hidden side that very few have read or understood, but absolutely true. You could review this answer on how I write, Saturn in 3rd, and how I express communication.
Yes, well you come across as rather serious, another by-product of your saturn placement. I guess you don't talk much in reality then Or if you do its in a partnership of some sort or about one (saturn ruler of the 7th). However, saturn is associated with causticity when it's not in a good mood (when is it in a good mood anyway?), so maybe you get quite caustic and dry in your communication. I have been accused of both sometimes, I have merc opp saturn.
Also I noticed your mars is anarectic. No wonder you're carrying on the way you are...

BTW, thanks again for the contributions I'm sure I'll think of some more things to ask BTW.

...in continuation:

3. What is the rest of your family in terms of astrology? Are they similar to you or different?

First of all, I must point out that my mom's mother, a Pisces, introduced me to astrology by giving me a copy of "Sun Signs". In the book, my grandmother underlined a Scorpio passage. Linda wrote about the high odds of a Scorpio being born within a year of a death in the family, or a Scorpio dying within a year of a birth in family... As it turned out, my aunt was born within a year of the death of her grandfather, a Scorpio. Then I, a Scorpio, was born a few months after my father's dad died. I was stunned by this revelation.

Anyway, moving on...

I don't know anything about my father's side of the family. My dad had a son from one woman, a daughter from another, then myself and my full-blood brother from a third woman. I don't know my half-siblings signs, I never speak to them. I have 3 nieces from my half-brother, and 2 nephews from my half-sister. My father had a brother and sister, and I don't know their signs. I don't know either of my dad's parents’ signs. I know absolutely nothing about them.

My dad was a first-decanate Gemini, I don’t know his Moon or Asc.

My mom's father was a Cancer, and her mother was a Pisces.

My mother and her mother were both born on March 17th.

My mom has two sisters and a brother.

The birth order begins with an aunt, a Pisces, who married a Scorpio and gave birth to a Virgo (a male, opposite mom's sign), then a Taurus (a female, opposite dad's sign). My Pisces aunt and Scorpio uncle have divorced.

Then my mother. She is a Pisces with a Capricorn Moon and my grandmother believed my mom has a Libra Ascendant. She and my Gemini father divorced. My brother is a Pisces with Sag Moon and Gemini Asc.

Then another aunt, an Aquarius. She married a Gemini and gave birth to a female Virgo and a male Gemini. A very Mercurial family, with Aquarius of course holding the higher octave of Mercury within Uranus. My Aqua aunt and her Gem husband have divorced.

The youngest of my mom's siblings is my uncle, a Taurus. He married a Taurus woman, and they adopted a Cancer girl. They are still happily married.

So, for three generations on my mother's side of the family, counting only blood relation, this is the distribution of signs among the twelve of us: 4 Pisces, 2 Taurus, 2 Virgo, 1 Gemini, 1 Cancer, 1 Scorpio, 1 Aquarius.

Factoring in marriages and an adoption, we add: 2 Gemini, 1 Taurus, 1 Cancer, 1 Scorpio

Blood relation, marriage, and adoption makes 17 individuals, 8 are Water signs and not a single one is a Fire sign.

23- You've made some excellent deductions in your interpretation of my chart.

I have always seen both of my parents as very indecisive when it came to their marriage and raising my brother and I.

My mom's sun is at 26Pisces and falls in my 8th house, while my 9th house begins at 27Pisces.

I've kept my family life very private, so I'm not sure of the 10th house Chiron connection here.

I consider myself a pessimist, but what I feel my tight Sun-Jupiter conjunction does offer is a great ability to "keep moving on" when crisis and disappointment arise. But maybe this is aided by your observation dealing with how none of my planets are in retrograde.

The suicide was terribly gruesome, but it is only death. We all die, and while there are many ways to go, his was quick and easy. I'm very much at peace with it. There are things in life that I find much more disturbing than death.

Being a Scorpio with Venus and Pluto in mutual reception, Libra Moon, and Venus conjunct Sun, I definitely feel detached and diplomatic.

With the synastry between you and I, I must apologize because I shot out a quick reply after only glancing at your "Big 3" and considering their sign relation to mine. The day I replied, I didn't have time to look more in depth. So while we may never know how we'd mesh when together in person, I likely made some poorly simplified assumptions. I ignored degrees and modifying aspects. I'll have to give it a closer look.

Also, 23, please don't hesitate to ask anything exceedingly personal.

4. How do you feel about being a scorpio and how do you deal with all that sco energy?

I'm not sure how to interpret the first half of the question. Being any given sign is a relative thing. I can't walk in anyone else's shoes, so I don't try to imagine being a Cancer or an Aquarius.

But I also believe I have poor introspection ability, which should also hinder my answer to your question.

I do have an abundance of pent up energy. Nothing really helps with it; I'm perpetually tense. Biking and writing music are my main outlets, but my desire to do either comes in waves. When I'm not in the mood, I'll brood, or try to put on that Scorpio mask, smile, and go out and socialize.

I don't like my pessimism and anxiety. I can imagine I'll die of a heart attack like my father and his father.

If I had the choice, I'd be a Sagittarius.

3. Yes, I've heard of the scorpionic regeneration cycle before! I wonder if my maternal grandfather was a scorpio. I was born a year after he died. My mum is a scorpio and my first cousin is one as well. You'd think that this would run in my family too.

And yes, its funny about signs being related to the parent. My dad is a leo, I was born with a sun directly opposed to him. I've seen it in my partner's family as well, with the capricorn grandfather with his sag wife giving birth to two cancers, a scorpio and a virgo. The scorpio had 3 sag daughters. Virgos often have gemini children and vice-versa.

I can see the replication in your family, esp the nuclear family - a mixture of air, water and fire. I thought your libra moon would've come from your dad and your mum gave you the water. Fire obviously runs through the family somehow. It's very frustrating that you don't know your dad's chart. Maybe that's where the fire comes from notwithstanding that no one is a fire sign. Your mum probably gave you the mars.

I don't know the birthtimes of my parents but I am sure that my mum is aries rising, dad is leo rising. Still my parents have minimal air (mum - venus, dad - good chance of libra moon). I really don't know my extended family so I can't trace anything back. I really don't know where the air in my chart all comes from. I was however one month late and I would've been born a cap with sco venus. I guess the c-section really altered me and put me out of place.

Scorpionic Web -
I think the 8th house sun of your mum's in your chart would've complicated things a great deal. Maybe there was great depth but things might have been unquantifiable, maybe you felt that you could never go deep enough with her or maybe that you never understood her.

As for the private aspect of your life, I think that just would be your stellium at work in the 4th. All your planets are below the horizon, it'd make you quite private. How the chiron works, I don't know exactly what can be said about chiron. Maybe your wounds are very public, maybe you will have a career that is chironic in nature or that you can use your chironic abilities in. Being in taurus, I'd say have a feeling of no worth in a mundane or material sense. I'm not sure if this relates to your family situation.

As for your pessimism, I'd say its the moon conj pluto/saturn. It would give you quite stern if not depressed and very intense emotions, that's the negative side of it. On the positive, it would give you practical thinking and an ability to intensively mobilise and study your emotions. Jupiter makes your ego (sun) expansive, maybe this might assist in your moving on. I have a similar dynamic in my chart, except sun is restricted, moon is expanded.

As for your reaction the suicide and its acceptance, I think that the function of your moon conjunctions. The willingness to accept death and maybe the existence of afterlife is the pluto conjunction. The fact that life is restricted is the saturn conjunction. Soul rules the moon, soul never dies. Sun rules ego, ego of course dies.

No offence taken I realised that was done quickly. You don't have to delve into it if you wish. I was more interested in the dynamics of Aqu-Sco. And it is very easy to see two together and get an immediate repulsive reaction.

I'm not sure how to interpret the first half of the question. Being any given sign is a relative thing. I can't walk in anyone else's shoes...

True what you said.

quote:

Well that's scorpio . Very intense and pent up energy, I can see mum is a bit of a pressure cooker as well. I notice you used the word "waves" as well. I'm interested, do you undertake any water based activities like swimming or sailing? Your 12th house ruler is the moon which might indicate such activities (as well as being heavily water).

quote:
When I'm not in the mood, I'll brood, or try to put on that Scorpio mask, smile, and go out and socialize.

I think that's leo rising party face. I have a similar party face that I actually use: Aries rising, jup conj aries.

quote:
I don't like my pessimism and anxiety. I can imagine I'll die of a heart attack like my father and his father.

Maybe, maybe not. Death shouldn't be speculated but the ruler of your 8th is neptune. Neptune is in sag, I really don't want to speculate further. Not healthy. If you are interested, there is an 8th house/death post on the board. However, I wonder if the duplication of pisces (8th/9th house) cusps may have something do with what you said, a focus on death (or is it just a facet of sco). Do you feel these duplications and interceptions have an impact on your life? See how your 3rd house is intercepted with moon-sat-pluto.
http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/duplicated_signs.htm http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/Intercepted_signs.htm

However, as the heart is ruled by leo and leo is your rising and your sun represents you, the fact that you have jupiter conj your sun, maybe you should stay away from an "excessive" lifestyle.

Thanks again for answering my questions

Question - I know you mentioned your parents divorcing, was your father by any chance either distant or absent or was he the less dominating parent? You obviously had heavy family responsibilities (as you have mentioned) because your saturn is conj IC. However saturn is conjuncting from the 3rd. Did you have to take care of your brother? Did you brother have any of the qualities of moon/saturn/pluto/virgo?

5. What would your ideal job be? I said to mb something arts/entertainment because of the 5th house emphasis, so for you, something to do with homes? (4th house emphasis).

Lately I've been bartending. I'm waiting for more direction before I go back to school to finish my bachelor's.

I have always wanted to own property. I think being a landlord would be a great job for me. I'm handy around the house, so I wouldn't have to worry about hiring much outside help. I'm planning on taking over the mortgage of my mom's old house, renovating it, then renting it out. While Cancer/4th rules Houses/Homes, Taurus rules Land, my 10th house cusp is Taurus, and along with my loaded 4th house, I think I may do well as a property owner.

Perhaps also an expression of my Taurus 10th, for a long time I had wanted to get into botany. I love all things about plants; working with them, getting my hands dirty, the earthy smells, the simplicity of their existence... I find it so soothing. I think it definitely helps manage my blood pressure. I used to landscape, I really enjoyed it, but not enough to make a career of it. I try to keep a bunch of plants around the house, and every year I dedicate a large amount of time and effort to growing a huge garden of vegetables.

I also have a bit of a fascination with history. Another expression of my 4th house. A while back I tried to convince myself that if I can't find any career that I truly wish to pursue, that I would become a history major by default.
