The thread about Saturn rising has gone. In it, I describe my Taurus rising brother. Sturdy-built, legs like tree-trunks, good at carrying heavy furniture. Sound like a bull? Someone thought that WAS a load of bull. So, can a Scorpio rising look like a Scorpion? Well I can tell you I am the runt of the litter, I am smaller and punier altogether. My features are more angular. Scorpions are meant to be protective parents. I hope I'm not over-protective, but if someone had a go at my kids, the sting would come out.   IP: Logged |

Ah, Black Lily, I sent you a reply but managed to kill the thread. Do you do something like a furrowed brow intense frown? That would be the type of thing I would think for Scorpio/Saturn rising. Maybe coming across as intensely serious and seriously intense. IP: Logged |

I don't look like a SCORPION. People always tell me I look like a cat. Actually I think I look more like my sun sign (a GOAT)

As for Sco rising, I've always thought the shape of the body of a scorpion equates with the shape of the face, they tend to "bulge" out in the middle. Augientier looks like both but has a bit more angularity in structure thanks to Cap sun. I'm sorry for using Duran as an example but this is from another thread. [URL=http://g.imagesh ack.us/thpix.php]  [/URL]  I too look very sheepy, probably the most sheepy, I can only say it's somehow the OOB mars combined with the jupiter in 1st (but might add jovial qualities somehow that exaggerates maybe my aries rising. I've noticed that aries rising has a thick straight nose that equates with a ram and the eyes fit around the thick straight nose, kind of tucked in. They have the firey eye crease (which all fire risings have but see the ram, he has a crease too). Face shape is always like the rams, a bit triangular. Eyebrow line follows the "eyebrow" line of the ram, where the two bones meet giving a faux eyebrow. Look closely at the ram photo.

It has heavy "eyebrows", smallish eyes, "hairline" goes down in the middle (the scorpion has a bit of a widow's peak type hairline). As for the mandible area, not sure, leave that up for debate. AG, only when the one looking is drunk.  I have Saturn in Gemini in the 1st. Does that mean I look like two goats? EDIT: make that two young-looking goats.

AG - well Gemini is a mutable sign, so your appearance would swing between these two twins And anyway, Gems are babyfaced, so you'd look babylike. As for poor libra which is not represented by a human being but a pair of scales, I guess we use symmetry for them, such that the curly top frame becomes the eyebrows, the eyes would be the cups and "middle" vertical bit the nose, the stand is the mouth. If you draw the boundary/perimeter to the scales, the boundary would be round representing the overall face shape.   The less attractive ones look like this (ie Brit at her worst)  IP: Logged |

LOL, I wondered where that thread had gone... Anyway to answer your question: umm, I don't know about other people with this aspect, but I think it makes me more intense than serious, so I'd describe myself as seriously intense. For example: I've noticed that during courses (I'm still a student) teachers never look (for long) at me and when they do, they start blinking with their eyes. LOL. But I'm a Leo who doesn't frown, though sometimes I just squeeze my eyes when I'm looking intensely (duh ) at someone/something, and I think I make a more serious (first) impression on other people than I really am. I mean: I'm a 9th house Leo with Jupiter in Aqua... and can be pretty crazy too. I suppose I surprise people with it... I'm like "two face" or something. ------------------

Well I get cat quite a bit because of the cat eyes, but overall yes I do look like a horse or a pony. That's what a lot of people say. I've seen other Sag risings with the horsey look too.IP: Logged |

Augentier- You look SOOO similar to my Capricorn ex-girlfriend. She is Aries rising; so Mars is her chart ruler and your traditional chart ruler, and you both have Mars in Pisces. Her Moon is in Gemini; opposite your Moon. You both have a Water Venus; she has a Pisces Venus. And you both have Sag Merc. From the photos I've seen, the two of you really have such striking similarities. Anyway, the people I've known personally or those who see my picture, who follow astrology, definitely say they see a "Lion-like" appearance in me. IP: Logged |

I'm a Cancer-Sun with Scorpio-ASC - and I guess, I look quite "Scorpionic": Body: rather slim, girlish-like, small breasts (all not at very "Cancerian) pale skin - naturally very dark, straight hair (almost black) - strong & dark eyebrows, sometimes some dark rings around my eyes - I tend to walk, move and speak rashly - I like dancing and people say, I'm a very good dancer. The most CANCERIAN physical trait I have: my HANDS!!! I am really rather slim - but my hands are HUGE (and ugly!) in comparison - they have the form of a square, and they look like "tools"/"instruments", real "wokring hands" - although I am no manual worker (professionally). I'm a Gemini Sun W/ sag rising. My face doesn't look like a Saggitarius- (more Gemini-like). But my body does ressemble a "horse" LOL. I've got long muscular thighs (even though I don't work out that much). I've heard Sag thighs are supposed to be big, but (not to brag) my thighs are my fave body part. Yeah, I've got long legs and limbs ...and of coarse, I'm got REALLY long brown hair.

Haybelly, you're Taurus rising, so you should be cow-like in appearance, round head, big eyes that are slightly upturned, maybe flarey nostrils. The ascendant determines the appearance of someone fundamentally. Your venus (chart ruler, ruler of asc) is in aries, so you might have a bit of aries flavour to your appearance (maybe you aren't as thickset as other Tau risings)

I have a button nose and people have told me I have cow eyelashes because they are so long. But I laugh when I close my eyes and think of a cow with my head on it! I live on a farm and the cows are nasty, they are always licking their boogers with their big tongues and drooling and blowing snot.
