Dragoon - How about this from a Libran Moon and Gemini Mars that does not find mudslinging and fighting very funny (rather than debating), that I don't find your constant dropping of posts relating to the American elections in an astrological forum then weaving and disapperaring very witty or intelligent or cute.

Maybe that hurts your Moon.

My Moon in Pisces in 6th
conjunct Mars in Aquarius in 6th
trine Sun in Scorpio in 2nd
square Jupiter in Sagittarius in 3rd
square Neptune in Sagittarius in 3rd
square Saturn in Gemini in 9th

overall negativity hurts my feelings

my sensitivity is my greatness asset but also my greatest liability. I can easily empathize with others and be compassionate but I can be easily hurt and can be too idealistic for my own good. I can be very vulnerable. I have to strongly refrain from self pity and insecurity. My goodnaturedness can get me seen as being weak. Being a male, it can me mistaken for being gay.

You can see why I prefer spiritually oriented woman for a relationship partner.

Make that your number one priority Glaucus. Don't settle for anything less either. Make that your strength and benchmark. Never let a woman take control of your life because of your good nature. Manipulating people are attracted to people with good natures.

Having Virgo somewhere in your chart, you would appreciate that spirituality seeing it displayed in acts of kindness by that woman. Oops, do you have Virgo somewhere? I thought you did.

Yes...I have Virgo Ascendant.

I also have Juno in Virgo in 1st. My relationship partner can be Virgo-like and I can be Virgo-like in relationships. Well..I am picky....I want a partner that doesn't smoke, drinks, nor uses drugs. I like partner that is prudish in some ways. That's how I am too. hahahaha

Not feeling loved by those I love hurts me. Libran Moon conjunct Pluto in the 8th house.

Being discriminated against, violated, and betrayed also do the job. But those I have in common with others.

I don't think I get hurt as such and I don't usually get angry either.

I often feel disillusioned. Things like - dishonesty, intentionally causing harm, aggression - leave me with an overall feeling of disappointment.

I don't expect people to be perfect or to make no mistakes.. I kind of expect the opposite - but for some reason, I still have a general disappointment in human nature (including my own, at times).

Moon in Capricorn
(It might be affected by Mars and Neptune in Capricorn, although they are not conjunct by degree)

Sun Libra, Moon Sag, Venus Scorpio, Asc Virgo

What hurts the most & I have just experienced this yesterday so it's still fresh; is when a close friend betrays you - talking about behind your back with other people.

Number two would be Deception (in my view I believe people close to me have no reason to lie as I accept them for who they are & am not afraid to talk about the ugly side of life that most people hide from or don't want to admit to.

Number 3 Selfishness hurts me - People who go after what they want unethically, not caring who they step on.

I could go on with more as there are many things that hurt but for the point of this question I will keep it short.

The thing about selfishness in my experience is that sometimes you have to mention issues you have related to this, because the person is just going about their life - albeit in a 'selfish' manner to your needs - but they're just neglecting to think of you in a certain way or in terms of your particular need. It's rarely on purpose.

Best speak up to avoid it in those we love. Not every annoying detail so that it disrupts another person's flow, but when it's important to us.

As to betrayal, that's very upsetting.

I wrote "rudeness" in the thread "Mars, what makes you angry?"

I think I'll write it here too:

"rudeness"

I am so over rude people!!!! Why do people open their mouths without thinking???

This is going to my signature for a while:

"One's character rises and falls when they open their mouth."

LOL - sorry, I have Saturn conjunct my Venus by 0 degress today!! It's also opposite my natal Saturn by 0 degrees. It's not quite square my Moon, but almost...!!Please bear with me through this time

Hi - This is a reply to Bvanzy - I do not know if your response had anything to do with mine but I will say this - Is it just me (Libra) thinking of how an action or choice I make might hurt or effect another? or are those that are deemed "selfish" thinking of others & proceeding anyway or totally oblivious to others? This is kind of what I meant by selfishness. Thanks

Koiflower - Saturn will always be somewhere but it would be better not here for you right? I've got a four month break from my hideous Saturn/Chiron double whammy clashes - woohooo, let's party. Sorry. Became overjoyed for a minute!

But seriously, no worries, you'll find friends around here koiflower.

I have found that the only people you can depend on when things are going wrong for you are THE KIND PEOPLE. Even those you love and who love you can tend to be absent-minded or inconsiderate when you are going through hell. They don't mean it, but always respect the kind people. Not the pretenders, the schmoozers, the real ones.

Spunknini - yes, that post I wrote was to you. I agree with what you say. I have a Libra Moon, but I was just sharing my experience that people aren't doing it to be mean, they just need to be told what they are doing is hurting you. Not little things - like biting your nails bugs me - but big things like 'it matters that you forgot my birthday'.

Oh bless your little cotton socks Bvanzy, thanks for clearing that up, I guess from my point of view it' is something that I do naturally without thinking being a partnership sign but I am ever so frustrated at the thought of having to tell someone that they are being selfish, I mean if I can think of it (and I'm not special or anything, tho have been told once or twice that I got here on the short white bus - lol) why can't they? oh it makes me want to throw a tantrum

It is hard for people with strong Libra to SAY to someone that they are being selfish in this or that regard (or many!), but it is necessary to clear these things up, because that other person will not be thinking that way at all!

I know someone who is both intensely kind at times (Cancerian Sun) and intensely selfish at times (mega Gemini collision including Moon and Mercury), but who if diplomatically told she is being selfish will adjust herself accordingly. I've known Leos and Scorpios who've done the same Therefore, I conclude it is a general human phenomenon.

If you are unlucky you will have misjudged and found yourself a truly selfish person (they exist of all signs), but then at least you will know, but most people are selfish by accident, if you know what I mean.

What hurts me is friends who are too clingy and suggest that I am "not there for them". I'll "be there" as much as I am able to be and no more. I've got my own stuff going on too, and only so much energy. Friends that don't give you freedom to engage when you want to, and suggest that you're not doing a good enough job. Friendship is elective. Of course I will come running at a crisis and I keep promises/commitments - but don't expect me to invite you round for dinner because last time you invited me round for dinner and it turns into some kind of merry go round of obligation and routine. I really dislike that. Gemini moon.

When someone close to me uses something secret or personal they know about me as a weapon, especially unprovoked (which has happened, usually out of jealousy or envy).

That is the key to the seemingly trivial arguments between my Moon Aries relatives. Often the trivial is symbolic, and certainly when they get going I don't think the real matter being argued over is the plant or whatever.

Yes, that gives it a deeper context. Neither of them spare the time to be malicious, they might rush out with hurtful comments in a the heat of an argument, but they are never intentionally cruel. Everyone knows how they feel as well, you don't need to spend time working it out or worrying if you have offended them, they will soon say. It does save needless time.

Lol me too. Moon in Gemini square MC.

I am passionate about homelessness though so seeing a homeless person bothers me and I get angry w/ the system. I'll go to sleep thinking about it sometimes and feel horrible that while I'm in my warm bed, somebody else is sleeping on the sidewalk. But it's not really a deep rooted "hurting" but more of a strong awareness that something needs to be changed, accompanied w/ strong mental visualization. But I'm not sure how this relates to my Gemini Moon.

I also feel abandoned by friends who stop responding to me or puts me as a low priority, especially if I've put them on the top of my priority for years. But this probably has more to do w/ my Sun in Aquarius and Venus in Aquarius.
