Gotta a question for the Taurus men, I don't think that there is really alot of Taurus men on here actually..But if there is or for the women that know about Taurus men, perhaps you can help..

When they can't have thier way, is this how they act..They tend to give you the silent treatment or act short or non-chalant..And if they really want something or someone shall I say do they really give up with out getting it if they know its obtainable..They seem to be childish like guys if you ask me..

well i usually try to talk and sort things out but when i do give silent treatment it happens when:

either i am deeply hurt and i prefer to rather say nothing than become hurtful, because if i lose control and become hurtful i will later hate myself for hurting someone and feel very guilty over this

or
when i see that the person is not listening to me or does not want to even try and understand what i am trying to say

so Taureans usually give silent treatment when they are totally mad yet dont want to become hurtful or when you are mad and/or hurtful so they see there is no point in trying to explain their point of view and end up even more hurt

Its a turn off for me and quite childish, and at some point it can be a deal breaker..

Hmmmm Thanks Peri since I have not done anything but try to have and keep things on the right foot he is dealing with his own hurt and perhaps the silent non-chalant treatment..

I am obtainable and he knows that, I am not holding myself back for the sake of because I can..WE won't happen until he closes other doors..I know that I am right and want to continue to be friends..But I won't be manipulated into things with the Silent treatment and childish things like that..I was just wondering was this a Taurus trait or his own personal thing..

we do go silent when we are angry and don't wish to blow it even more with words,... so we just shut up and think about how to handle it.

We can easily come round though, with some understanding and tactile love

Okay I am getting good answers..And well I don't really care if he is upset bc he can't have his way with me..But I have let him know that I care and will check on him here and there and say hi..Thats the best I can do until something changes..

I do this when I am just so mad that I have no words. Or when what it was that I wanted was that important to me. Or if I feel that I am right and the other person isn't listening to me. This is a very unattractive trait that I do have. But I find that I will stew over it for as long as I need to and then I'm over it. If it is important to you whatever it is stay true to that. The cool thing though Mama Mia about Taureans is that they don't hold grudges (well at least l don't).. we get angry, which in itself is rare and after we have dealt with it we are back to our normal selves and you could say it never happened!

Yeah I will be doing just that..yes it has alot to do with being Stubborn for sure..

Yeah lara I know the silence won'y last a life time. I think he is thinking and like someone said trying to figure out how to handle things..I do feel important to him..

I had a Taurus ex who would stay on the phone with me for several minutes without saying anything when he's mad. Me the Scorpio would rather hang up, but I figured out later on that he wanted me to keep talking to him and ask him what exactly ****** him off, make amends with him blah blah blah. He would be so cryptic for several more minutes giving only one-word or one-line answers. Sheesh.

I hate the silent treatment. Doesn't it seem passive aggressive in a way? To me it seems a terrible punishment! I can't stand it when someone will not talk to me. Even though I can do the Lara type thing and not say anything becasue I know at that point it will just make things worse. kind of a catch 20.

Also even though he seems to be acting like he is about 15 because he cannot have his way, I kind of looked over it and said to him Via text, I hope that things are going ok in your world right now and that I plan on keep in touch checking on him and to say hi. I want to be friends and keep dialogue open..and I hope he has no bad feelings..

A few hours later he text back and says he has no problems with me..but thats it..No thanks for you concern or anything..I said ok whatever big baby..So when he is through pouting and all that childish stuff he knows how to contact me, bc I won't bother..I have way to much other stuff going on anyway..
