I'm not really convinced about Juno as a sole indicator of marriage. I think Juno represents what WE are, and the aspects of ourselves we need to integrate. I think it's us, the missing ingredient that we often disown. SO....we look for it in another. And often when we find it, it is kind of like marriage, because it's part of ourselves returning It's a strong indicator of attraction for sure, I feel. Juno represents the piece of us we need to 'marry', but that we've sometimes rejected. If we're attracted to something, Juno will show it. A lot of my boyfriends have a 5th house Juno. My sun is in the 5th house. They were all artists who had somehow rejected that part of themselves. My ex had an 11th house Sagittarius Juno. We became good friends after we divorced and he's more open with me now, and actually is able to voice his desire to travel and explore other philosophical points of views. He just needed the freedom to do it, and didn't give himself permission before (too bad). Never had I felt more like my Juno than the past year. Sagittarius 8th house. I've been 'the foreigner, the traveler, the initiator into esoteric/sexual/weird-ass mysteries'. I became my own Juno after projecting it onto men - that includes long and short-term relationships. It was a recurring theme until it's (I think) been integrated. I think at best it's an indicator of strong attraction. But by itself it won't stand...there has to be other stuff in the synastry chart. The strongest aspects are the hard ones, especially conjunctions to the personal planets. Magi says it's the Mistress/sex asteroid and says Chiron alone supports marriage predictions. I'm not a big fan of Magi. They're just not right. They have some valid points about their theories, but they tend to be fanatical about it, and their theories are not solid enough anyway. I think asteroids should be last to look at after the personal planets and luminaries if you are doing synastry. But that's just my two cents Here's a site for more info: http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/Juno21.3.html IP: Logged |

I agree with MVM for the most part. I think Juno does represent qualities of a person we could be with long term ONLY if the sign your natal Juno is in and it's ruler are in harmonious aspect with your personal planets and rulers. I believe Juno is like a super Descendant but not representing qualities we don't have. Also, you have to look at everyone's natal Juno to see where it is and what it may represent. My Juno is in Aquarius 8* in the 6th house. I get along GREAT with Aquas. Matter of fact, that is the sign I seem to attract the most which is good for me because Aqua is trine my Sun, Moon, and Merc. I don't know if that means my Juno represents which type of person I will attract (aquas, and I know a lot of them). But I think it would be interesting to hear from other knowflakes if they attract people of the same sign their Juno is in. Not they are attracted to, but who they find attracted to them. ------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ And yes, i'm a guy! Hmmm.... I never really have known any Cancers, my Juno is in Cancer in the 8th house and trine Pluto. I suppose I seek a partner who transforms me and has some Plutonian energy, or creates more Plutonian energy. I noticed both my parents have Juno in the 8th, and they were barely together after I was born. So their partners are not my parents, but they both have money troubles with their partners. I'd rather go for the more spiritual side of the 8th house with my partner!IP: Logged |

Got Gemini, you're right, I do tend to attract Saggies oftentimes and do like them a lot...it's my 8th house ruler as well. But I tend to embody it too, I feel. Maybe it's a case of like attracting like? IP: Logged |
