Auriel (Insert smile cos I wouldn't let me post ...got tooo expressive....)

Given my week...and my situation with my ex

Currently my favourite movie line is from "Dirty Harry".....
"Do you feel lucky????? Come on punk make my day" ........
Ok not a nice thing to be thinking I know.......but after 2 and a half years of trying to get my money/stuff/clothes back from this man............
Sue

PS: I'm not proud of that thought

My very favourite is from Pride and Prejudice...."Mr Darcy...I am undone"
Collin Firth was "to die for in that role"
He also played Darcy in "Bridget Jones Diary" ......swoon.....lol

Sue, I understand. I feel the same way about the yellow one that tries to visit here.

cat71, I loved both movies! You should read Words of Love. There a lot of great songs and quotes on there that you'll probably like.

"You have no power over me" from Labyrinth! That movie (especially line) has gotten my mom and aunt through 3 year long divorces and my mom and I through a whole lot more!

Cat, you have some competition when it comes to the bleeding hearts. Mine is from the princess bride...
" Wesley and I are joined by the bonds of love, and you cannot track that, not with a thousand bloodhounds, and you cannot break it, not with a thousand swords."

and of course there is the famous...
" Yeah, Mikey's been here."-Goonies.

Here's one of mine....as it relates (if you transpose the gender) how I feel about one special guy on this earth:

"I would rather have had one breath of her hair, one kiss from her mouth, one touch of her hand, than an eternity without it." (Nicolas Cage, City of Angels)

Nephthys, you saw K-Pax, what a cool movie! What did you think? It amazed me, and throughly entertained me. Has any one else here saw K-Pax?

Peace,

Hi Infinity! How are you doing?

Well, I read the book so the movie was disappointing to me. They left a lot of good details out. However, I love the points they made like the quote I did above, and others like "we are not carnivores!" etc.

Nephyths, I am doing well! I did not know that K-Pax was a book! Books are always so much better! I only saw the movie, but it was such an awesome movie, that I bet the book is just simply outstanding
I am looking to buy the movie, though, so that my daughter can watch it. I like it when she watches insightful movies.

Peace,
Infinity

Infinity ~ I can imagine! I can't wait to have children and when I do I want to teach them all metaphysical things, and find great books for them to read, books for children from a meta-physical perspective, teaching them positive things a school wouldn't.
I just read your profile, what kind of veggie diet do you eat?

Nephthys, Having children is a great thing, in small numbers! Now, I wouldn't trade mine for anything, but one thing I have discovered (and now understand) is that each child THINKS they alone should have 100% of Mom's undivided attention, which, of course, is impossible 100% of the time! I do get frazzled and frustrated with them at times, and I enjoy the times that they are all asleep! Oh! And also what I have learned is that it is Sooo much easier having two spaced four years (or more) apart than to have two spaced only 17 months apart! Whew!
In answer to your question, I eat no meat, fish, chicken, animal ingredients, nor eggs. I try to stay away from dairy, and am mostly successful, except that pizza or lasagne that I just can't resist! My children are also vegetarian - from birth, but they do drink some milk, and eat more cheese than I do. I let them make their own choices about food, and they are amazing at how well they choose!
You saw Peacemaker's signature? She started saying that phrase when she was only TWO years old, and boy, did she make some mouths drop!

Well, Peace be with you,
Infinity
