yup, my answers are found in the webby. and i seem to understand him better now. but without his birthtime, it's still a piece of jigsaw missing.

nonetheless, it was helpful and gave me a better insight of him and the relationship. in addition, i bought a copy of Linda's Relationship Signs and that really gave me a boost of info.

btw, i dropped him an e-card on his birthday and that evening, he called to ask if i had plans for my birthday, which i didn't. we both ended the evening well, chilling out at a pub with a couple of drinks and casual talk.

And what did you think of Relationship Signs? I have the book, too, but I'm kind of iffy about it... seems very general to me and it doesn't quite have the same magic as the rest of Linda's books. I've often wondered how much of it she actually wrote???

Bad news, bad news... problems with the relationship. Retrograde Mercury and female hormones? I do hope so! I get so frustrated sometimes with my guy! Everything is great except this one little thing (which is really one BIG thing.) Whenever I have a problem with our relationship, just basic compatibility issues, he turns things around so that he's the bad guy and I end up consoling him. I've always told him that I approach him with things because I don't expect him to read my mind, so by telling him what I need I am in no way suggesting that he's done something wrong. But that's how he always takes it and what happens is that I have to reassure him that he's not the worst boyfriend in the world, but then my own needs remain unmet. Grrrr! He turns everything into a battle of logic-- he wants me to explain to him exactly what my problem is (he's always willing to discuss, which is good, but the discussions don't seem to go anywhere constructive in my opinion.) then he takes my problem and point by point explains to me how things fall logically. Emotions can't always be affected through logic! But he doesn't get this. So I end up with these emotions that I can't seem to express to him. It's very frustrating to me! Even more so because he wants me to be emotionally expressive with him... he says it's something he needs from me. Confusing!

I don't think I'm looking for advice or feedback unless anyone feels like they really want to respond. I'm just venting! If anyone else wants to vent, have at it!

my suggestion, for any intense convo, wait till after 20 dec . this mercury retrograde gets me big time. we went into a light argument last weekend and for the 1st time in 6 months, he raised his voice at me. i guess i had that taken aback look on my face and we kept silent for a moment. however, as i said, it was a light argument, we made up without much effort but ever since then, that little argument keeps on replaying in my mind.
