Hiya pixiekins

This is the funniest song I've heard in quite awhile, thought I'd share it with you
http://www.geocities.com/azalaksh/tunes/Hamsters-It.Is.What.It.Is.mp3

Good to hear you're back in the band, at least, until you outgrow them (which I suspect won't be long )

Adora-Zala!
Thank you for the songs! and for bumping my thread, it always gives me a warm feeling to have my thread name bumped.
I listened to the last one, but the other one, the funny one, I was unable to connect to. I'll try again later, right now, my computer is slow due to downloading.
Gosh, how I adore you!
I hope your day is a good one. I've been quite busy here lately.
We had 'Victoria Day 'yesterday in Canada, complete with fireworks and a midway in my hometown, so the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves, as did we. I worked first, but afterwards, it was fun.

Luvlygirl.
Hmmmmmmmmm..... I will try not to jump on you here, but I do find it a tad presumptuous to hop on a thread with my name on it to grab attention about a thread that's long dead, that in fact, I didn't even start, and the starter of the thread changed his post to 'This is BS' when he saw that people were jumping all over it, asking for something.
I have not met you, you barely said a hello, and you ask me to do something for you that I have outright said to others I had stopped doing. If you'd read the thread, ( as you obviously had) I'd outlined reasons for not doing it anymore.. so the answer is the same here as it was there... even if it's whispered. If I turned others away, I will do the same for you, as it wouldn't be fair.
again; I have lent that book to my brother. I do not ccurently have it in my possession.
That said;
Hi. I do not know you, could you tell me when the best day would be to say No to preserve my sense of help at a neverending cost/versus impersonal kindness?
If you post a thread with a specific question, I'd be happy to help you if I know the answer, myself and others.....
But if you impose yourself on my personal boundaries after I have already talked about it ( that thread was my bloody undoing, but it served it's purpose at the time) then I won't likely respond with the kindness people are used to receiving from me.
It's like coming into my house with muddy boots on and offering carpet cleaning services for a cost.
I find it rude. Sorry if I am off base.
Anyway, happy trails, we'll start again somewhere else if you choose to continue posting here. Yet to be seen.
Good day!

pixiepie ~

"it always gives me a warm feeling to have my thread name bumped."
Well then, as Causing Warm Feelings could be #67 on my list over in the "What Makes You Happy" thread, I shall bump it once a week!!

One of these times maybe I'll hit on a song that you'd like to sing with the band.....?? What did you think of Fleetwood Mac's "Dissatisfied"?? Z thinks it would be a great stage song!!

I tried opening Les Reaudentes on my work computer and it popped out slick as a whistle, so the snafu must be your pc or your isp, hon.....

Talk to ya later ~

Zala, I just logged on after a busy weekend, and JUST came to Soul Unions... and lo and behold, I see my thread bumped, and I see it was exactly as I logged on!
Talk about meant to be...

Thanks!
In terms of new material.. we're gonna stick with what we have already as of now, and work on making them good, for the shows we have lined up.. after that, barring another disagreement, we can intriduce new material.

The problem with my computer was every time I'd click on the link in a new tab ( I use Mozilla) the whole thing would have to close. I will try opening it in a new window instead.
I just didn't want to try, chancing that I'd lose my open windows. Yeah, most likely it's my computer.
Thanks baby! I appreciate your thinking of me. ( and effectively making me happy)

Hiya Punkin

(that’s what I was always called for being born close to Halloween )

What’s new pussycat?? Is Mozilla cooperating now?? Do you have shows every weekend?? And what are Seas and Princess CW going to do with their summer vacation??

I regret (not much ) to inform you that I have morphed into a Hamsterhead!!
HD shared some of their music, and I went out and got more – see if you like them!!

You're funny, babe!

Hey, at least it's not the chipmunks!

Yeah, Seas is off to his dad's for a few weekends soon, and he's going on a school trip next week to Niagara Falls, The Butterfly Conservatory and a trip behind the falls, then we're going to Paramount Canada's Wonderland soon. I play at some festivals coming up, but this month it's at a local bar, pretty popular. I hope it goes well, it'll be our first show since that fiasco. Each practice has gone pretty well. Its just the timing thing now.. getting tight.
I bashed the crap outta my thumb banging on a cowbell.
It's been a busy week so far, and it keeps filling up!
I actually have to get hubby to take a few pictures tonight for the poster, I'll email them to the band to make a new one.
Unfortunately, my computer isn't playing sound ( I have no idea why!!??) My dad's been reformatting a lot of things, i think he took the sound out somehow, though we have a speaker system.
anyway babes, thanks for the fun post here!
Loving you all up!
Do you have many plans his summer so far?

Hey sweetie

Glad to hear that things are staying smooth with the band and you got some good gigs going!!

Plans?? Yeah, we got 'em!! CJ's out of school now, and going to the summer YMCA "daycare" -- they swim at the Y's olympic-size swimming pool twice a week, go on one field trip per week (movies, roller skating, baseball and soccer games, water parks) and have a cookout-lunch every Friday.

A few weeks ago he surprised the heck out of me by saying he wanted to go to camp -- overnight camp!! He wants to learn archery and canoeing, and it'll be the first ever time he'll spend 5 nights sleeping away from home -- that's mid-July.

In mid-August I took a week of vacation and we're heading to Wisconsin Dells -- the Water Park Capital of the USA. Although their biggest water park just got dethroned -- the company I work for just finished building The World's Largest Water Park south of Minneapolis

I hope you can go ahead and download those tunes anyway hon -- save 'em for the day when your audio files become available again

Loves, K'Z

K, I'll try!
That's funny, my little archer wanted to try archery this summer as well.. it's a day camp, for a week.. we were waiting to coordinate our schedule with his dad's schedule.. but we can go ahead now ( waiting for the next pay period in a couple of days)
Both our little guys want to expand their sporting lives! How cool is that!

I posted some pics for the band poster, over in the free for all post a pic thing... ( page 24/25 I think?)
Let me know what you think.

.. hi pixlz ..
keb mo trax have been wiped .. just uploaded these sung by 'hanne boel' .. i got a gut feeling she may have some scorp in her chart ( i don't know her d.o.b. .. but there is a web site ) .. they be from an album called 'dark passions' .. she's danish .. .. sings a bit like tina turner ..

.. 1st one is original
.. 2nd a cover version of a rock classic .. i prefer hers to the 'hamsters' version .. just had a thought .. what it would be like to hear them both singing the same song as a duet in concert ..

4.6 megs .. / stereo / 160 bit rate .. "if you want my body" http://www.happydragon.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/jkbx/lovemymind.mp3

4.7megs / stereo / 160 bit rate .. http://www.happydragon.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/jkbx/makelove.mp3

Hmmmm, can't help but bite on the bananas theme -- I adore fully ripe tropical fruit My musical assistant would be delighted with the bananas if they arrive in less than firm tiptop condition, tho.....

As for the Mgmt at Z Ltd working OT, naaahhh – playing OT is more like it – music is Pleasure, not Work!!!

I could hear pix singing this one: http://www.geocities.com/azalaksh/tunes/Derek.Trucks-Drown.in.My.Own.Tears.mp3
…..the slide-player's daddy's bandmate/keyboard player does vocals on this track This is not representative of his music, however.....

Hey there Almost-Birthday Gal!! Nearly threeeee decades under your belt now..... ;-D

I was uploading some tunes tonite and thought I'd give you one.....
I erased all my song-links here (except your own bands tunes) when you linked to this thread in the KS-fiasco -- been thinking about putting 'em back up when I have some time.....

Didja get the sound fixed on your computer??

But I can feel sun shinin' where its never shined before

Feel sun shinin' where its never shined before

But I'm still climbing up the mountain side
Cant count me out
As long as I got my heart and soul
I got everything
I got everything I need
Everything I need

hiya ....

*'Zala* - re mp3s .. ~~ i've altered the'audio' page slightly ~~ .. so you can add to your list anytime y'want to .. send me a list

P.G's " big change" would be a good one for the kf's who want to get a Particular Message across to thier nearest 'n dearest .. .. the scenerio where words fail .. so one partner choose trak on cd 'n turns up the volume somewhat .. ( i plead guilty to having done that one .. be those darn pluto transits .. good thing the're rare .. :-)) ... ... just listening now .. ( off a tape ) .. to the slow slow blues " you'll be sorry someday" ... i just love that song .. i rekon he's got a great voice for the blues !! 'n that song is So Well Played .. it's the timing of it all .. ..

i've uploaded mr mo's .. " i aint got no woman " .. it's a cheery song for the right occassion.. well it made me smile (the lyrics) .. so mabye it's a smiley tune but not so cheery ...
ooooo .. he aint got no door or windows either .. ( good tune is that one .. i picture him as a hobo riding the trains fer that song .. it's got a banjo has it not ) ..

just been 'searching' for PG lyrics .. not found any yet ..

hah .. just popped dowstairs for a sec .. PG's last instrumental was playing on the hi-fi and .. from the distance it sounded like vocals ( but obviously couldn't make out the words :-) .. had that happen at a jam session once .. i was playin' the pd.steel and someone later remarked that they hought they heard human vocals .. then realised it was the pd.steel ..

love ya choice in musical assistants !!! .. has a deep voice ???? .. or a squeak ?? .. trying to visualize it .. i bet drumming / percussion figures in there .. somewhere .. what do you add to the bananas btw ?? ;-)
.. er .. not yet listened to derrek trukker track .. will do so now .. havin' a bit of a prob. with the external drives .. one makes gruesome internal noises .. .. the other two are noisy full stop .. ( high pitched whining .. it's annoying ) .. so storage is an issue at moment .. i think a sound dampened cabinet might work for the drives .. well least am hoping it will .. .. " I got a hammer .. and .. "

mmm .. so *pixlz big day is tommorow * .. ( wuz just checkin ) ..
hey Pix .. .. Have A Great One !! ..

'Zala ..

re: * .. what character is that spiffy squiggle between your initials?? *
on my keyboard it's .. holding the 'shift' and hitting the topmost left key ..
.. key in 'type' section .. .. not the 'functions' row ..

.. actually started using it 'cause of T-80's "HP" type over in the green fields of the taurus thread .. as in .. here .. that squiggle looks like an 'S' .. 's' is for sauce .. in a leonine sense if you like .. reference to that in n.Node placement .. mmmm .. looks like that d.pic y'just posted has a leonine aura ..

that key i.e. mr.squiggles .. also has the 'plus-minus' symbols when hit without a modifier key ..
actually i just had a thought .. have PC k.board near kitchen .. and .. as food is just about done .. will check it out

.. btw .. i have no idea what other font systems would show that as ..
as .. what odd squiggles might be appear as the result of various systems ..
i mean my squiggle could be someone elses .. ( insert whatever y'fancy )

i keep meaning to really suss the 'type' as regards to the LL software ..
it goes weird in the post submit/reply/edit boxes at this end .. sometime

re: * .. Some more Neptune (seems to be a theme of the week for some reason) stuff in your mailbox now *
mega cheers .. thanx !!

off to mailbox now ..

Isn't that squiggle a legal symbol used in legal documents to note cases or something? I think it is.

.. just looked at two other k.boards .. one a pc .. other 'n apple ..
neither have the same marking on that key .. as the one i'm using now ..
.. double trepidation for what others might be seeing there :-)))))
.. i'll do an img pic of what it looks like here .. n post it .. see if it's the same ..
.. a legal 'character' .. huh .. sounds ominous somehow .. like a warning thru my keyboard .. ;-))
* *
btw: some new mp3s on m'audio page .. one at top .. nice gift for any of yer single male buddies ..
.. has a cheer-up factor in the lyrics .. .. made me smile when i first heard it .. still does :-)))

*'Z* .. hi .. i saw 'n downloaded the .pdf's .. but had trouble with 'reader' 'n dumped it a while back ..
just tried downloading from their site .. was a no-go for some reason .. will try again later on ..
i've some electronics files in that format .. .. really could use the info as ther'e important ..
but the last version i had of 'reader' just wouldn't open them .. despite having done so before ..
.. bug in the system maybe .. missing system file ..

AG ~ thanks for satisfying the 'satiable curtiosity of Merc in Scorps

HD ~ From one floating snake to another..... ..... ssssssssss
Are you going to try animating the cobra or the water??

I looked up that character: it stands for "Section" in legalese, ie tax codes and legal writs and such. Why on earth would Mac put it on on their keyboards?? Like that many million computer-enthusiasts write legal briefs?!? It's a "symbol" in MS Word..... § § § § § § ..... but it looks odd/different in the LL text-boxes (mine displays in Courier New, I think) than it does on a Word.doc.....

How close is the G3 to full functionality??
