It's nice to see, two-like minded people (HSC and AT) appreciate one another. I get the feeling there's something special there. Hope you continue to nurture it.

HSC, I didn't see the "Chill" box on my form....was that down near the "I won't analyse everything" box? I seem to have completely overlooked that entire section, lol.

with love

There's always something special there,
whenever people share love, on any level.

I know, for me, impersonal love comes easily.
Venus Conjunct Uranus = "The affections are universal by nature."
The AquaMoon is similar, as is Neptune in the 11th.

Its not that I dont feel for people on a personal level,
but, I am capable of feeling affection for a great variety of individuals,
for that which makes them respectively unique.

And I am very open (Merc in Sag) and almost childlike (Moon/Juno in 1st) in my expression of that love .

I tend to serial obsess, because I (to a certain extent)
can practically fall in love with anyone.
I am just learning this about myself,
and I know I have to be careful about the (mixed) messages I send out to people.

Part of it is not knowing myself well enough to know who is "my type", or if I even have a type. There's this desire to connect with a variety of people (mostly women, lol), partly because variety stimulates me (in lieu of a more concentrated, intimate connection), and partly in order to learn more about myself. Whether I am finding points of commonality with people, or finding myself in opposition to them, the result is the same: I am stimulated/inspired and I learn more about myself.

I dont know, I think I must've overlooked that one, too. But seriously, what exactly do they mean by "I", "won't", "analyse", and "everything" (I'm particularly curious about the first and last two/ONEs)?

take good care,
hsc

HSC, I hadn't given house rulers much attention...but now you say that I have Aquarius on the 6th (in connection with my computer use, and suggested certain stones...I think I have a tiger's eye somewhere...LOL )...and also Capricorn on the 5th (meaning that *work* is how I like to spend my *leisure* time...it gels pretty well, somehow.

If you like - I can try and set one or both of the poems in this thread to music - just as an experiment. And I can send you an mp3 when they're done. Currently I have a large backlog of tunes but no lyrics; I am not too bad at lyrics but tend to write the tunes of my songs first. Some of the tunes I've written recently have a slightly darker or melancholic side. Or I could try writing a tune to fit your words, which would be an experiment for me, as I've never tried it that way round before (no comments on double-entendres here please!! ). So - if you'd like me to - I can try it...just for fun...!

You are right about the strong Pisces/Virgo influence giving a strong leaning towards biology/chemistry/environment/medicine etc...I've seen that in several individuals and yes, in a sense creating the work was like giving birth, and yes, Saturn was in Cancer at the time I was lucky to have been able to live in what I consider to be a sacred place, abundant with wildlife and a spirit of antiquity...

*We have to give the public new idols* I totally agree with this statement. I also, however, think that there need to be those intelligent enough to recognize them when they do indeed appear!!
If I'm being honest, I have had hardly any illustration work apart from my book, because *apparently* there is no market for it. I also wasn't able to get endorsement of the book from certain organisations/individuals simply because I was unknown! I was actually very lucky that I submitted my idea to the publishers at the time that I did, as they had already published titles on the subject previously but were looking for a fresh "take". So I think that in my case, interest will come the opposite way round to the more normal gradual building up of a following. In fact, I think that my case is proof that anything can be willed into reality. Two years before I manifested the publishing deal, I was talking about writing a book; somehow, I just knew I was going to do it. If I had not received that boost at that very time (bang on my Saturn Return), I might have given up - who knows? Curiously, it always seems to be Americans that like my work, virtually never the British; I don't think we "think big" enough over here.

No, no!! Definetely do not hide your light under a bushel. And don't go for retail jobs either; you are worth better Maybe try and do something connected to your work, however loosely.

I also know what you mean about *your* type of love. I did sense many of the things that you mention. I'm fine with that.

Yeah, house rulers are important, especially when there are no planets in the house.

Knock yourself out, with whatever you want to try. I'd love to hear it.

Yeah, Saturn in Cancer would totally compliment Cappy on the 5th, with the "giving birth to works". "I was lucky to have been able to live in what I consider to be a sacred place, abundant with wildlife and a spirit of antiquity.."

Sounds lovely. Environment is so important. Where was this?

"*We have to give the public new idols* I totally agree with this statement. I also, however, think that there need to be those intelligent enough to recognize them when they do indeed appear!!"

I agree. There will always be those "with ears to hear", but they wont always be common. But, then, if they were common, there would be no need of the new idols. To some extent, I think we owe it to the public/audience to try to meet everyone on their own level, without arrogance or pretense. But it is difficult, without compromising something essential. Even if you manage to make a silk purse from a sow's ear, you still have to cast it before swine. ((I know, that sounds so bad.))

People are so timid in the art world, and in the business world in general, I think, when it comes to taking a risk on anything new. Which is historically stupid, since, whats old is old and whats new is always new (to put it plainly)! The person who stays on top has to innovate, and, when everyone else is copying him/her, looking for what sells, he/she is looking for whats new. You may have to bide your time and energy and find a way to market yourself, yourself. But, there are progressive people out there who will fund you, with a little luck, if you can sniff them out.

"Curiously, it always seems to be Americans that like my work, virtually never the British; I don't think we "think big" enough over here."

LOL! Could be.

Listening to the story of how your book came into being... It sounds like such a perfect harmonizing of elements; hard work, faith in yourself and your intuition, and a little help from fateful circumstance. You will catch on. Your work exhibits a specialty, and will appeal to a more specific demographic. You just need to find your audience, your following. It can happen for you now, and I believe it will.

"No, no!! Definetely do not hide your light under a bushel. And don't go for retail jobs either; you are worth better Maybe try and do something connected to your work, however loosely."

Thanks. I'll try.

"I also know what you mean about *your* type of love. I did sense many of the things that you mention. I'm fine with that."

Cool.
