I wouldn't wait normally, but I would judge the situation and the guy before I do anything that intimate. I don't think that by having sex on the first date, that, that should determine a man's opinion of you. It's all the other stuff you put out there that does it. If you are wounded and continuing the behaviours and one of those self-destructive behaviours happen to be casual, promiscuous sex then you will probably attract the type of guy or at least communicate to a guy that it is ok to use me this way. BUT the actual act of having one night stands to me is not in itself destructive, and especially if it leads to better things...in my case it did...
