Hi future uncertain and everyone! ( I took a little break from LL to concentrate on a new chapter in my life, but I'm back as I new I would be) Anyways, I loved your response! It was so thoughtful and articulate as always Oh and you got me thinking when you mentioned how the desire for sex sort of fades in long term relationships sometimes. I was thinking that might also have to do with the man changing too. He is learning there is so much more to his girl than just her curves and starts seeing her as more similar to himself and less that mysterious sexy girl he first met. When you become so familiar with something, I think your desire naturally kind of fades. Just a thought, I dunno.. I think women can help men get past some of the major gender stereotypes that keep them from knowing the higher selves' full potential. Women help men release their emotions by giving them the only medium society deems is okay for them to express themselves (in Love). Men who don't Know women can easily miss the real gifts women bring to this earth and see them AS purely gifts of the flesh, if you know what I mean. When I man falls in love and I mean deeply in love with a woman, he can no longer objectify her. She becomes so much more and the package in which her beautiful soul is wrapped simply becomes a bonus. Maybe he'll see her caring side when he gets sick, or her warmth as she effortlessly brings people together at a party, her gentleness as she stops and pets a stray kitten, her sensuality as she slows him down and gently caresses him as she stares lovingly into his eyes, showing him the art of making love. There are so many things I think men admire about women and can even learn to cultivate in themselves. I think the biggest they learn is that men and women are not that different at heart. we are all brothers and sisters.

My man and me are going to a 70s glam rock party on friday so I hope he has been watching me apply my makeup for the past few weeks. We are doing the glitter thing and full make up so him being an artist and all should be quite good at applying his own eye make up LOL!!! If not, I would love to do it for him...........oooohhh I love a man with a bit of glitter on now and then.......the last time we went to a 70s bash, he looked gorgeous, purple frilly shirt, flares and glittery face.....looked a little like Justin from the Darkness, cute or what!!! I have always derived great pleasure from putting make up on my men........well I did grow up in the 70s.......David Bowie, Marc Bolan and all those beautifully feminine men.......yum!!!! So that is one thing a man could learn from his woman - how to apply his makeup perfectly...........he he he!!!! LOve and sparke Sue xx

Loved Bowie in The Labyrinth.------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. hmmm,... in as complicated as the question, at first, appears,... it seems, to me, so very simple... and, I agree with what 26Taurus sees. With regard to what LeoSweetHeart pondered in thought, of desire naturally fading in familiarity... now I wonder too.... maybe less that the desire fades but, moreso becomes, through fulfillment. hmmm... I dunno either...? ~ geminstone

To be very honest, I don't know if it's really a "man-woman" thing.I think that it really does depend on the two people involved in the relationship as individual human people rather than on their sex or gender.
