I need to mediate on things. An Aries Venus is the hardest Venus. It makes the woman"masculine" and the man "feminine" so you must work with those energies. You need to make sure you do not chase,first of all. I read it was not valuing oneself. One thread said that woman who have it do not see their own value. Please comment someone!! Also, you may not see the other person clearly if you have a love interest in them. With my boyfriend right now I did chase him (even though the feelings are mutual). My relationship before that was a bit of a fluke, but I guess I did most of the chasing then too and I'm inclined to say the relationship was a bit one-sided). My first boyfriend chased me to DEATH. lol That sounds dramatic. What I mean is that he basically begged me to go out with him for months and practically worshipped the ground I walked on (this was a "pedestal" relationship). Honestly, I do get a bit of a thrill from both chasing and being chased. I like excitement-- not luke-warm. Perhaps there-in lies my problem. I'm an excitement addict. When things stop being exciting, I'll do something to create it, and this isn't always in the healthiest sense of the word. IP: Logged

I don't think it's so much an issue of not "valuing" myself, because I don't think my self-esteem is that low, it's just that I'm extremely idealistic about love and relationships. I came from a broken home. It was a nightmare, and even though it felt like my insides were sliced through with a machete when it happened, It was for the best when my parents finally got a divorce (I was 9). That said, this aspect of my life has been the source of more pain than anything else. It spawned a host of issues in my psyche: abandonement, low self esteem (during teenage years), intimacy issues, emotional confusion, victimization, relational confusion, attachment and detachment issues, naivete and extreme idealism, escapism, etc., etc., the list goes on and on. I just don't know what a relationship is supposed to be like! I have idealized it to fairytale proportions because I imagine that it must be the exact OPPOSITE of what I grew up with! IP: Logged

You seem like your goal is to become more 5th house which is the life of the party, center of attention and letting go with fun and joy. Is this hard? It is in Cap which seems opposite to this so now sure how Cap would work here.What do you think? Cap would want you to be more responsible but I suppose they are NOT mutally exclusive. Randall is a Cap and he is very fun loving so I suppose one must put this all together in a whole. You need to be able to have fun but be responsible when needed. I've been feeling very sick the last few days Anyway, back to our discussions.... I checked asteroid Apollo with the synastry with my first boyfriend and my apollo is conjunct his Jupiter and chiron... His Apollo doesn't really make contact with any of my planets... His Eros is exactly conjunct my IC though... So is his Venus.... So I don't know if that makes a difference at all... Basically, he kind of put me on a Pedestal and then when he saw that I'm not nearly as perfect as he imagined, he lost interest. IP: Logged

Im not very shy, and it's not really all that difficult or uncomfortable being the center of attention, (although sometimes I do just want to kind of be left alone)..... The thing is that even though I'm still a lot of fun... I don't usually drink very much or indulge in other such activities... I've never smoked anything, never tried any drugs, etc. I may drink a little bit if I'm at a party but I don't let myself get out of control. Does it make a difference that my Saturn is retrograde as well?? IP: Logged

This would make the Pluto energy which is one's primal passions hard to reconcile with the Venus energy which is what we see and feel as beautiful. I am trying to think of how to express this in a practical way. You have an Aries Venus which is a hard Venus cuz graceful,receptive soft Venus does not like brash, direct and forceful Aries So, there you have an identity crisis with Venus not feeling comfortable in her home. Pluto in Scorpio is an intense and focused Pluto.It is the primal energy of the tiger, stalking it's prey if need be lol You have to harmonize your Pluto primal instincts with your Venus who is looking for love, devotion and a sense of what it finds beautiful in a mate. I have a constant battle of masculine vs. female energies... I want to be feminine and have harmony in my life but then that male Pluto side comes out and demands a little friction and excitement. This especially affects my relationships. It makes me very restless and confused about my own needs and desires. If you throw my Moon into the mix as well, that's when it really gets interesting!! My Moon wants nurturing and harmony while my Aries Venus wants no part in that!!! And then my Pluto kicks in... Ugh!! It's just a mess!!! What do you think about my Venus being a fire singleton?? Analyzing my pattern of partner selections throughout my life has shown that there is a consistent presence of two signs: Leo and Scorpio. I have no Leo placements, and the only Scorpio placements I have are Pluto and Juno. My first boyfriend was a Scorpio with a Leo Moon, my second had a Scorpio Mars-Saturn conjunction with a Leo AC, and my current boyfriend is a Leo with a Scorpio Moon. The eighth house Venus would explain that I guess! But where does the affinity for Leo come from? What do you think? IP: Logged
