I read one of your comments today in another thread and you had said that you feel pain with and without the man you were speaking about. So much of what you are saying resonates with me. I'm wondering if the emotional distance is his Cancer asc and Mars in Cancer-I get the feeling he wants to retreat into his shell like a crab.

My dealings with cancer (I have a cancer sister) is yes they are emotional but they keep those emotions protected and their cards close to themselves.

I really thnk you have a deep soul connection. One of you has NN conjunct some personal planets. Even when you are physically apart your souls are connected. I feel this way.

Did you ever read Eat Pray Love? There is part where she imagines her soul and her exes sitting on a rooftop holding hands. You can be physically separated but yet you are together.

Her Mars is a proud strong Mars.It pursues truth and philosophy and the meaning of life.
His Jupiter is a fiery one which seeks to be part of a group as a way to feel joy and optimism .
He finds his meaning in life by the group.She does more by her own study and perhaps travel.
Hers is more of an intellectual pursuit.His is more done in the context of a group

Her Jupiter makes her an optimistic and joyful person.Cap makes her serious so she has both.

His Ceres is in Gem.He nurtures in a playful chatty way with fun and kind words.
The 12th makes Ceres go inward and afraid to be direct in it's expression.

She may be too direct and extroverted for his delicate Nurturing nature.
He may pull in and not want to give it anymore

Does that fit?

--Yes you are right I am serious/joyful lol.

--The Gemini Ceres makes sense to me some now as he is light and chatty and that fits when he was trying to lift me up -- instead of knowing that this may be his way to pick me up I took it as his being very surface and unemotional..so that's great to know that the way I was feeling about him not caring was perhaps the opposite. Which actually makes me feel I've let him down now..I was thinking that he'd stopped caring.

You are right - there must be something very meaningful there for me to return to him time and time again...and you're also right that if there wasn't something there I woudn't even bother and it would be easy.

I LOVE what you said about the book - I haven't read it, but again this is exactly how I feel - that we are bound together and that he never leaves my side - it's almost like I can hear him and feel all the time with me and this exact feeling is what makes me think that there is something we still have to do with each other and not to go and leave forever.

Thanks also for pointing out the NN contacts - yes it's mostly his NN in relation to my planets but I have a few too. I think this is important somehow, but I don't know enough to know why lol (still learning).

I wondered if it was possible that I may have the deep soul connection and he may not even have it?? Is that possible...or could it be he doesn't reveal it as I feel it? I didn't know who would feel the nodes more or if it was a two way street.

You have pointed something out to me concerning the Cancer aspect in him - he does not show this sensitive openly and I wrote about it a little in the post above with Amy. Maybe this is what I haven't been realising -- at first I thought he was sensitive, but all outward expression points to the opposite (he's firm and strong externally) and because I couldn't see and feel the sensitivity from him I took that as him not really caring about me. BUT in saying that he is very protective of me.
