Yes....I need help. LOL....I am a total wreck when it comes to relationships and I think it has a lot to do with what my chart says about me. I am a typical Sagittarius and now that I'm reading about other aspects of astrology I'm starting to learn what makes me tick. Any assistance is much appreciated. Let me also say that I have met a guy who seems really sweet but is not what I normally go for. Here's just a little info ME: DOB 12-14-1970, born 5.18am in Washington, DC Sun = Sag, Moon = Cancer HIM: Sun = Cancer, Moon = Pisces DOB 07/08/1974 (unfortunately I don't have his birth time, but he was born in Philadelphia, PA. Thanks ~Dee IP: Logged |

Thanks,I keep having feelings that I'm ready to settle down with "The One". I'll find myself in a relationship only to realize that it's not working. I need to figure out what's wrong with me or rather what I can do to stop sabotaging relationships with great guys. ~Dee IP: Logged |

You have Moon square Uranus. That coupled with your Sag sun is going to make you need space and freedom in relationships. I have Moon sq Uranus too, and it is maddening. From what I've read from others with this aspect, the best way to handle relationships is to make sure you get time away from the relationship without making your partner feel completely bewildered by your need to get away. quote: Moon square or opposition Uranus People with these aspects in their natal chart are studies in contradiction. When they are able to fulfill their emotional needs for closeness, support, and intimacy, another part of their personality rebels. They feel closed in, restricted, and uncomfortable with feelings of dependency. However, when they are left alone on an emotional level, they can feel left out. They begin to crave closeness and intimacy once again. They keep people at an emotional arm's length often enough, yet struggle with their emotional independence.

@Fondue,that is so true. I need lots of freedom and independence even in a relationship. I have met some great guys and there is no reason why I should not be in a committed relationship other than the fact that I start to feel like I'm losing control of myself if that makes any sense. I don't believe a relationship means calling or being with your significant other all day or even every day. Unfortunately, in the few real relationships I have been in the men tend to take this as lack of emotion and caring. And that's not true at all. I have very deep emotions and I do care, I just find it too difficult to voice them. I tend to show how much I care in my actions. As I stated, I'm a mess and at 41 years of age I've come to realize that it is "ME" and not them. I have serious commitment issues that I'm trying to workout. IP: Logged |

It's a shame that Jane isn't still here. She was a Sadge, with Moon square Uranus, only she was happily married. IP: Logged |

@Teasal,thanks for the links and the article. I'm reading the article now and feel like I personally was interviewed. I am so guilty of acting this way in a relationship. I do try no to be, but I find myself in a terrible cycle. Off to read the rest and thanks so much for the links. IP: Logged |

What is it that you are hoping astrology is going to explain for you?? I use Equal House system (where each cusp is same as Ascendant) and am a modern astrologer. Lots of newcomers come into Astrology/forums and get a free chart from astro and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few others if you wish to experiment….. Within the mainstream are placidus/equal houses (the default on astro is placidus) only difference being some planets may move from one house to another thereby altering it's interpretation and it's 'only' with research will you find which /planets 'fit you' in which houses. So my advice, do two charts, research any planets that move houses and see which you identity with - simple Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAwGtMWl4z4 taurus/venus ruler of 7th house is stuck in 12th not great. quote:
Ruler of the Seventh House in the Twelfth House With regards to marriage and other close partnerships, you could find yourself playing a supportive role from behind-the-scenes in some way. Your partner may have past life issues to finish up with you this time around. At some point, you may involve yourself in a partnership that has a hidden quality about it, or you could become involved with someone who is not free in the usual sense. http://www.skyviewzone.com/astrology/houserulerships.htm#hr7
perhaps you should research your 12th house planets... Basic astrology forum, 12th house planets http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum12/private-jjLYZw161/HTML/000666.html To enter this forum you need an extra password – astrology…. next you have uranus singleton ie: only planet in air element, but you have two planets in 11th to help compensate. Now you have venus afflicted with an opposition to saturn. this shows feelings of being uncherished from early childhood. quote:
Venus opposition Saturn The opposition between Venus and Saturn shows emotional frustrations. Indeed, this is a depressing aspect as the harshness of Saturn weighs heavily on the affairs of Venus such as happiness, harmonious relationships, artistic endeavors, and financial security. You may look at your accomplishments with continuous dissatisfaction, underestimating your self-worth. You may not have received the encouragement that you needed when you were younger, and you tend to shy away from competition because of a resulting lack of confidence. You may have to make concessions to others to maintain normal relations. Often you wonder if it's really worth the effort. Avoid a tendency to undervalue yourself and your ability to make a worthwhile contribution. The development of a positive attitude can be your most valuable asset. http://www.skyscript.co.uk/venusaspects.html#veosa

Hi again,I was wondering if someone could take a look at my chart. I have a lot of Scorpio and I'm wondering what that could possibly mean. I rarely ever meet Scorpio's and have never had any friends or relationships with a Scorpio. Thanks ~Dee IP: Logged |

Dang gurl, you've got Venus opposite Saturn too? I've got that in my chart, except Venus is in Taurus and Saturn in Scorpio. From what I understand about Scorpio Venus, they can be pretty "all or nothing." They crave intensity. Taurus Saturn opposite that doesn't care for intensity. Taurus likes to plod along at a steady pace taking in the scenery. Venus opposite Saturn can make you feel like you have to work extra hard to get love while you seem to give it away for much less. Oppositions can work like a see-saw, where one side can overpower the other. Having Venus and Mars in the 12th might make it hard for you to access that energy. The 12th house is deep stuff. If your first house and ASC is your outer self, the 12th is the furthest from that. Venus is the ruler of your 7th house and the 12th house and it's placed in the 12th, so I would imagine that you need to connect with a partner on a much more spiritual level, coupled with Scorpio's desire to merge emotionally. Saggi posted some good links regarding all this 12th house and Venus/Saturn stuff, I'm just rambling on at this point. IP: Logged |

@Fondue..Yep...after just 41 short years I've come to realize that it's definitely 'me' and not 'them'. I got some real issues going on here and I guess I'll slowly get to the bottom of it. I'm off to read Saggi's links. Hopefully they'll provide even more insight as I have to figure out how I can work on me. Thanks again ~Dee IP: Logged |

Uranus is a singleton. I have this one too. Our charts are similar in many ways! This is one area I'm trying to learn more about myself. All of the energy in your chart will be filtered through this one planet. Yours is also the apex of a t-square, so I think this is a critical planet for you. http://www.astrologyclub.org/articles/singletons/uranus/uranus.htm I think people with strong Uranus in their charts can struggle with society's expectations as far as relationships and all that. Uranus is a rebel and likes to shake things up and think outside the box. Moon in Cancer is going to want the security of a traditional relationship, but Uranus feels suffocated by it. I think the best way to deal with it is by utilizing and harnessing Uranus to come up with solutions from outside the box. The links teasel posted showing how Jane deals with her Uranus illustrate that. She and her S.O. have worked out a system that works for her Uranian impulses. Anyway, if you're anything like me, if you keep studying astrology you'll have random epiphanies that will help you understand yourself better. (Neptune in the 1st house makes understanding yourself a damn chore. Yet another aspect we have in common, haha.) IP: Logged |

Yes. You have been 100% correct all you have said. I can definitely say I'm a piece of work. I have similar experience with my Career. However, I have had some real crappy jobs until my current position. If I'm honest with myself I can feel the itch coming on now to try something different career-wise. It's sad because I swear I crave nothing more than stability and routine. I'm going to read up on all of the links that were provided. I've already started, but I definitely need to read up to see what it is I can do to stop or halt this disruptive behavior of mine. Sometimes I feel like I'm a walking contradiction. It's a good thing I'm so darn optimistic or I wouldn't be able to stand myself. LOL ~Dee IP: Logged |
