What a memory you have, Chryseis! I'd completely forgot about this part of your Solar Return reading for me until I looked it up again. Here's what you said then: quote: 11th and 12th houses: feels like they are being lumped together and I can't read them very well. Natally you have Sag in the 12th and I think this is part of the tying together. Pluto's there but in SR but it feels like there is a lot going on that I can't read, and probably not supposed to. I would imagine part of it is, you have some influence this SR coming through from ancestors - tying into what I said about you being a good representative for a niche, which I saw in the 9th. Well again, you ancestral heritage is kind of whispering and activated in this SR. Hope that doesn't freak you out. Its not ghoulish but kind of nice for the most part - but I think I have to stay out of it, because its too much for my mindset to enter into - its a powerful influence (and Pluto is probably the final dispositor in this SR). So yeah, I jes feel lak I'm a gonna stee rart outa thees beet.

[/QUOTE]Oh haha, I'd forgotten about it until I decided to take a rune to question more about your situation, and that's what jogged my memory. I can sometimes remember things about people like how one might recall what someone wore at such and such event. I don't really have anything to add other than I feel you probably have a close connection to most likely what is a distinctive type of ethnicity/culture and you have the potential to be like a representative/a front man/an icon - and you can have your niche almost, with it based on like an extensive potential for relationships and good feel within that wider familial/cultural sphere. It may be on a community level initially but feels you could be a proactive factor in representing values and continuing aspects that keep the culture alive and current and assist in maintaining recognition of that culture and a cohesiveness between the people that make it up. It has a feel like a cultural community good feeling group - almost like a church but it is more pagan because there is ancestral type of core world views etc filtering through. It could even be a mix of closely related cultural orientations that have a common heritage to some extent or alternatively provide almost a facility for disconnected people of culture to find identity and rich inclusion - though your culture tends to be the majority within this tradition. It has a feel like it has far reaching repercussions that contribute to an anchoring of your life and an interconnectedness with others. It could even have an online dimension - though feels it has actual physical proximity to others as well. It may involve travel up to 50-80kms in general say every 6wks or so - and could include like an occasional or annual 200km journey to a meeting or similar that you will have to go prepared for - so you will have bags and bits and pieces - with the aim to insert something of cultural importance that you are trying to keep a voice or representation of. I just got shivers as there is emotional content to this and felt a degree of upset - you may feel like you are honouring someone like doing some kind of duty to a legacy or similar. Good luck with it - hope it doesn't get you off track or confused. Maybe give it a thought - and if doesn't sit right with you - then don't worry about it. IP: Logged |

quote: Originally posted by Chryseis: Group 1, 'Carver's intentions' Eihwaz, Perthro, Sowilo These first three runes tell you what the runes think about your intentions and you must keep this in mind as work towards your goals....... Sowilo is not the rune of cattle and wealth but when I turned the rune over I saw cattle - it is complex - cattle is not always the answer perhaps, though it does have much viability in terms of wealth creation - for sustainability though in particular areas - perhaps cattle farming is good for the local supply, but in terms of global economy, when all things are considered including power costs in transportation etc it seems that cattle are not really a good trade option when dollars are placed on the comprehensive costs - but yes good to be included to feed the locals. Perhaps in general, livestock are better suited to service the local markets and demand - there will be tighter tariffs and controls coming with live tissue or fresh tissue being transported across expanses. Fish farming is good, again to suit chiefly local needs or between neighbouring trade countries. It feels like the focus is on sustainability, but requires a progressive perspective because the existing approaches to some extent are being outmoded in some areas. So in general, I would say the economy of meat is what the area of focus could well be - and things like longitudinal studies on environmental impact, public health, demographics, inflation, infrastructure, healthier animals and more modest use and effect on resources (water, soil, money, changing weather conditions such as light/destruction/ozone etc). ......
Hi Chryseis, you did this rune reading on my studies back in May last year when I had not even thought of what I would do for my dissertation. I read it again and, lo and behold, you had got the issues I'm going to be looking at exactly right. Maybe you'd auto suggested them to me . The point is that you had managed to summarise key concerns about Food Security these days, so I couldn't have strayed far.I thought you might like to know. You've said that you mainly work with impressions while the details may not be so accurate - well in this instance, you nailed it! It was very good to see.
