With regard to your job question, my advice is to carefully consider all the aspects before deciding to move back to your hometown as well as take the recent job. I am getting warnings from the divination. You will most likely get the job, just consider everything and do the necessary negotiations before accepting the final offer.

I am leaving a relationship and unfortunately, I'll have to move back home (my hometown is just a 40 min car ride away) and I am hoping that I can get this job (which has a really good pay and benefits) so that I can afford my own apartment God willing. I will be very careful about this decision and take time to think about, especially considering that I will have to co-parent with my ex and our little girl.

Divination says that he found you a hard-working person and deep inside he did want to give you all the support he could afford, but outer situations prevented him.

I suggest no more going back to him for help or advice. In the very far future maybe that will be okay, but I do not recommend it for now.

Is it also possible that you and he have had very different backgrounds and he could not see past the differences? I get that sense too.

Whether it's gonna be this job or another, the divination says everything will be okay eventually. You shouldn't have anything to worry about, you are doing your efforts and you're being supported and helped.

Outer circumstances usually mean some friction caused by Saturn influences in the synastry and/or the composite. Different classes of people will not be able to merge well because of this despite personal hope to be able to do so.

I don't remember the exact poem I did your reading based on the other day, but I am drawing a new one. This new one is telling me he did or does have the power to help your case, but he is not sure he wants to go that far doing a big favor for you. And yes, part of it may be because of your recent interaction with him causing him to feel you don't entirely appreciate or want his help. But it is also possible that even without that he would not pull something influential for you, due to the same old "outer circumstances". But deep down he is sorry he is not helping you. Divination is also telling me that.

You're most welcome. Just remember, these situations may always pop up, they key is to start exerting your own inner and outer power. If possible, I suggest keeping a friendly facade with him even if it may be hard. If you can't be friendly, be absolutely neutral. If he senses hostility on your part, he may actively strike harder, and then you'd have to strike harder next. The situation will end when one party accepts personal defeat and leaves, or just decides that it's not worth it. But if there are certain rules or regulations in your environment that you can use to your benefit, possibly even against him, definitely do that. I recommend so.

The divination is always open

From my understanding of the divination, it was not the Divine. There are a lot of manipulation and dark games at play. Also the two parties will most likely refuse to take on adult roles and may continue to act immature.
