I'm a bit of a mutt too. I would classify myself as agnostic. I like the teachings of Jesus, and think he was a terrific philosopher and teacher. Yet I have to agree with Mark Twain when he said: "If Jesus Christ were alive today, there's one thing he wouldn't be: a Christian." I also like Buddhism, considering it's more of a philosophy rather than a religion. But all in all, I don't like organized religion. I'm all for independent thinking. ------------------ "Out of your depth or not, it's up to you whether you sink or swim." IP: Logged |

Mark Twain was quite outspoken for his time. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

He was also smart enough to change his name (better vibration). Although, that may not have been the reason behind the change. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." I'm Pagan, I believe I'm Wiccan to be more specific although I agree with a previous poster, it has become a little too trendy ! I had an email from a young girl recently slamming me saying I didn't know a thing about Witchcraft compared to her as she was a 'white witch' That made me laugh ! I also don't really have a God/dess, to me my deity is nature. To be honest I follow the works of Gill Edwards the most, she is wonderful, I find her and Linda clash on some beliefs and I'm afraid I usually go with Gill's IP: Logged |
