Everyone worth their salt uses code words. Not to hid necessarily, it's just the language of the realm. There are things that should only be alluded to though. You never know who's reading your book. But nothing to get frustrated about, artlovesdawn. They're remarkably similiar no matter the school. In fact, you might say you can gage a school's validity and trustworthyness on it's use and understanding of the symbols. The more you study the more you'll run into them and the better you'll understand the connection between and the meaning behind the images.

You've heard the old story about Mozart being murdered because he revealed Masonic secrets in the Magic Flute, huh? He was just the sort to thumb his nose at the powers that be. The Magic Flute has a lot of allegorical references to initiation trials.

"The Powers of Darkness give way to the Light"

just my worthless onion.

No thanks necessary. I've been in a pontificating type mood this week. I'm hoping the fact that I enjoy listening to someone else pontificate as much as I sometimes enjoy doing it myself will somehow save me from the wrath of the Universe.

"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll
