Book Two - The Bridge That Spans Our Worlds aka Beyond the other side

is turning out to be even better than the first.

And although i always knew that our spirits went somewhere after death, things were still unclear to me. Through meditation, these kinds of books and digging up more info over the past couple of months... i'm finding a much better and clearer perspective on it all and it's a really nice feeling.

quote:
“Listen. You will not die. You could not die if you tried, if you wanted to. Death will not come to claim you. It does not exist.”

“Then why have we made ourselves believe that we are going to die? Why do people call the time our bodies expire ‘death’?”

“There are so many reasons, too numerous to list here. Weak minded individuals and structured religions have allowed, even caused this belief to flourish. You may be interested to learn that now-extinct and soon-to-becomeextinct earth peoples or indigenous peoples did not acknowledge death. Instead they celebrated the spirit’s journey into the new realm where other forms of living would be available for the purpose of new growth and experience. These ideas were the mainstay for tens of thousands of years in fact, until only in comparatively recent history your common beliefs have taken you, as a collective people, to a place of fear and uncertainty surrounding the event of what you call death.

“There is no death Karen. I could tell you in no plainer words than those. Death does not exist. When that moment comes for you to leave behind your physical body and emerge from the density that you now understand, there is nothing that could prepare you for the exquisiteness that will be yours at that very moment in time. It will be a surprising delight. You have now lived in density for 42 years, but in all of that time, no one has told you, prepared you for what awaits you. You have been taught, told, that death is the unknown and that the unknown is to be feared. Yet I will visit new truths upon you Karen. What awaits you is nothing short of the spectacular, and truly, what awaits you is life in forms that you have up until now misunderstood.

Life awaits you. More of life. Fresher versions. More beautiful varieties. Far more delicate instruments of life. Even more passionate, bolder means of life. Brilliant methods. Intricate pathways. Oh, how I desire to strip from you your present thoughts of that moment and as a gift to you present you with a fuller understanding! How I challenge you to let go! Let go of what you believe lies ahead of you and peer into that window I have prepared. Just take a glimpse of what I am suggesting.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It is only, let me repeat, only, when you replace the word death with life on every account that you speak and think of it, that its secret will begin to unfold to you,
its magnificence, its hidden beauty. “That which you call death, that moment you have been taught to fear, that which you can hardly speak of, in truth, is as lovely as a newly opening rose, with the promise of hope borne on its fragrance; the human tongue unable to find adequate words to describe what the eye is seeing, tries to unravel the fabric of its existence- still ‘life’ comes out ‘death’.
“Yet do not lose heart, although humans have been witness to the incredible event called death for a very long time, and have been able to come up with little more in concept than “the identity has died”, we will work with that in this book in hopes of setting new groundwork and opening minds to new beliefs.”
“An interesting take on death.”
“Life.”
“Okay then, an interesting way of looking at life.”
about Karen (btw George was her uncle in earth life)
In the 2 years’ time since these books began, I have considered myself the unfortunate co-author of a trilogy I would rather not write. While you may wonder at my choice of words,
Reader, I will be honest with you, at 42, finding myself a widowed, single mother of 2, I felt that these books were just one more means by which to be singled out from the crowd. I was a writer- but not a writer of the metaphysical.
My dream was to record my traveling adventures from a time when I was a skipping stone and bounced from town to town- my gypsy years. I have to be honest, there were and are still times when I struggle with the material written here in these pages. I struggle to believe that a Spirit named George visits me in my evenings and speaks to me; still, after all this time and all these pages, I find it so difficult to accept that someone so unworthy of hearing these beautiful words is somehow able to hear them- which is why I would like to recount for you an episode that happened to me some months back.
While lying in bed, writing, taking down the dialogue as George spoke to me, I was filled as I am often with with the incredible struggle I have spoken of that goes on inside of my mind. The words were so lovely. The ideas coming through, too much, too much for me to handle.
(i'll stop there)
Interesting that she didnt set out to or really even want to write a metaphysical book. Kind of makes me trust her more.
George, can you tell me what happens at the moment of death?”
“I can tell you what changes your spirit will undergo, but I cannot tell you what you will experience, as that will vary from individual to individual. No one can tell you what unique experience you will receive; that is for you alone to look forward to.
“Even the changes that you are subject to will effect each spirit uniquely. Spirits are individuals just as humans are; they carry with them personalities and characteristics from one world to the next.
“The first thing you will discover is that you still exist. You still think, you feel emotion. Instantly you will discover too that you are not what you were while you occupied that human body. You will realize that your senses have undergone an expansion- your sight is not limited to that which your human eyes could see, your hearing is not limited to that which your human ears heard. Now you are aware of new senses. The sense of knowing. A new consciousness. Great joy comes with these discoveries, on a personal level.
Wow, lots to read first.
I can say from my own NDE, that is there was no tunnel with the light at the end as others have experience which means we all experience it differently as individuals.
I did however feel every emotion in Life experienced from my side and what others experienced through their interactions with me. It was the good and bad and quite difficult to explain in words. In short, we are our judges.
Going to read what you posted thus far.
Yes, lots to think about and digest.
Very interesting about your experience. Sounds a lot like what we all have to eventually go through, as told by people who've been there and back.
I've never had a NDE, but have been having spontaneous OBE's since I was a kid and found myself on the "other side" , a few times. Most profound one was meeting with my Grandmother after she died. It will stick with me forever. I look forward to reuniting with her again someday.
I thought I would post this here, since I am about to embark on a trip and didnt want to leave anyone wondering if I fell off the face of the "LL earth". lol or wonder what the heck happened/where i went, why i'm not replying suddenly (and i know more people are checking in and reading than have replied here, thought this would be the right place for me to give notice)
Anyway, i'm headed off on a retreat tomorrow, unexpectedly, and won't be around for a few weeks. Didnt want to just disappear without saying anything.
Take care guys
I had a chat with my grandad in my NDE. It felt like old times and the convo seemed to go on for the longest time. He even advised me on a list of foods I should eat, lol. He also told me to go back.
Where I was at the time was nothing ever experienced. The feeling of lightness, peace (the deepest inner peace ever felt like I part of everything and not just "me").
All the trivial stresses didn't matter anymore..
Wow T, this topic brings back many emotions.. and it's the first time I've openly spoke of it or actually shared bits of. Thanks
Hope you had a safe trip.
Wow, what a great experience! Really cool that your granddad even recommended foods to eat! Thanks for sharing!
The trip was shorter than planned, but I'm taking a metaphysical class now that i'm enjoying very much.
(((hugs)))
Reading some of the material here might help, even if only slightly, if you havent yet. It helped me to get back to a better perspective and look at things differently again.
