Hi evrybody. This is my first visit to Teen Spirit. Just wanted to see what's up with the more youthful Knowflakes. Personally, I miss being 15 at times. Though when I was there, I couldn't wait to be 16, now I realize just how much freedom I had and well..I'd love to get back for a visit sometime.

Yup, aqua. heheCool Sheaa From my experience, 27 is a mentally challenging year. I think it's the year we grow into full adult maturity. It's the year when we are finally capable of looking at ourselves truly, with no blinders and start digging down deep to correct those things in need of correction. Many people have ended their lives at 27. (Not that I don't think you're going to have a fabulous year!  ) Let me clearify what I mean. Curt Cobain - suicide - 27
Janis Joplin - drug overdose - 27
Jimmy Hendrix - drug overdose - 27
Jim Morrison - drug overdose - 27 There are a few others I'm forgetting to add to this list. My point here isn't to freak you out about turning 27, cuz I think you're a tough lady. You'll handle it just fine. Just be prepared for a lot of self-enduced-self-searching  IP: Logged |

Thank you honey - s'ok I know what you meant *big hug*Yeah - you're right. I think I've been mentally preparing myself for that since 2002. I just have a feeling of a new development around me when I'm 27.  So strange - I just don't feel grown up? It's the way I'm seen sometimes which forces me to be more adult at times. I feel so childlike and see people younger than me as the adults! Sometimes I have to check myself & as Linda so funnily puts it.. act my age How about you hon, how's 29 treatin' ya? IP: Logged |
