haha! I sent you virtual *chicken soup* after I glanced at that post. I couldn't take the time to respond that day, (with writing out recipe for making plain wholesome home-made chicken soup). If you caught that flu-like bug, then it might come back a little bit (hoping not), then goes away again. Try to make sure it doesn't go down into your lungs.
If your throat and lungs feel on the tippy-verge of rawness or dryness,
Use a room humidifier.
Massage Vick's VapoRub on your feet at night. It's supposed to help lungs and coughs. (Weird Home remedies? ... ~Yo. Why not?! LOL
At the least, you'll have pretty soft skin on your feet.)  Ravenous??? Well-Of-COURSE????
