Yup - I had the same thing - I'm trying to remember what post it was I put it in within the last month - it wasn't 'Spiral Energy', but something else.

Anyhow - yes, remember me saying about sleep disturbance when I would fall into a sleep state and feel trapped, but couldn't move - real disturbing?? Well once before I could fully consciously wake up there were two sharp taps on my bedroom door, then I was 'released' I could move again - like I was back in my body fully again. That was in this house, in Brixton.

In the last place I rented, there was a tap on the dresser & a carrier bag fell off a chair on the other side of the room - I also woke up to the blinds pulled up the same night - very odd night that was - heard all sorts of strange tappings the night through and the candle flame earlier in the evening was slanted like how it would look if someone had placed a flat object over it horizontally.

Previous to that there've mainly been - clear knockings on furniture - sets of drawers mainly. Even had my bed shake slightly a few times, again in different houses.

So yeah I will look for practical explainations, since I don't particularly like scaring myself, plus in this last year when it's happened, I've been on my own in whatever room I've been in.

It's unsettling, isn't it? Makes it hard to get back to sleep sometimes.. especially if it happens a couple times in one night!!

Whilst the peak of all this was happening (around July/August) oh yes - around the time I went to see Inga - name change etc, remember? I searched for help, I had to or I wouldn't sleep!

Derek Acorah - who's a well known spirit medium here. I bought his book since I trust him & in it he talks about self protection whilst sleeping. Leaving you're third eye open is like leaving your front door wide open at night. He suggests, visualising your third eye, the most beautiful eye you've ever seen, surround it in luminous purple light, and close it. The spiral pure white light from the top of your head to your feet, encompassing you, so sealing yourself. Extend this to your loved ones and home too.

I hear what you're saying. I was told that it was spirits around me too, and I felt that anyhow. Apparently a new spirit guide was trying to contact me, around that time. I haven't the ability to be clairaudient, so I'm not entirely sure. Whatever it was though it unsettled me so I told it to back off - it wasn't a nasty presence so it did! & I know I have protection from my grandmother (on my mother's side) too.

I do know what you are talking about. I have heard the knocking at different times but it comes from under my bed. I just assume that it is an old friend that past many years ago. When he was alive and we were teenagers he would often knock on my bedroom window so I could open it to talk.

I agree with protecting yourself at night. I always visualize white light surrounding me before I sleep. However, in the past year I have still had some VERY disturbing dreams come through.

While staying at a friends house once in the morning I was trying to get back to sleep after she had left the room. I didn't hear any knocking but I had the overwhelming feeling that someone was watching me. I just couldn't shake it. the feeling went from curiosity to intense fear. Although I dont get scared often (specially during the day) This was really getting to me. I tried to ignor it and then started hearing movement, I seriously thought someone was there. I thought maybe my mum was playing a joke but she wasn't there.
Anyway that passed.

When I talked with my friend she said someone had died in the house. An old lady, that freaked me out to the max...
