I usually edit things in to a previous post, but I wanted to add here that this is so relaxing to look at. Every time you post something (that I'm around to see), I feel inspired to get my pencils and paints out, but never get so far as to actually painting something. I tried in January, having made a personal goal for myself, but I was so out of practice that it felt wrong. I don't like everything being put down to "ego," but it fits for me, in terms of my being so uncomfortable feeling like a beginner again.. I've been trying to start over for five years now. It feels right inside, though, and I miss it. Sorry for the vent. I just wanted to say that you inspire me, and I'm glad that you aren't in the same rut as I am ~ that you get to do something you enjoy (and do it so well). IP: Logged |

Just curious T, when you do a peice from a pic do you use the grid system? I never did before and then my daughter learned it in her high school art class, now I love it. It really keeps things neat and less distorted. Great painting, btw.IP: Logged |
