They ask questions like ,"I have everything,why do I feel so empty?" One asked me that one night when we went out for dinner . I can see her in her white suit.She was from a family where the mother did not torture her until her mind hung like a loose tooth . She was a female MD. We are social creatures like dogs. I suppose relationships hone you like a dull knife on the sharpening wheel. You learn by failing. You learn as your relationships lie behind , dead bodies . It seems like you cast them off ,one at a time,not cuz you TRIED . They ,just , rubbed you so hard that there were chafe marks on your skin.
