Linda mentions different kinds of karma in Star Signs besides personal karma: national karma and racial karma. (I think those are all of the ones.)
How do you think those two are aquired. Especially, when back in the day, nation and race were, most of the time, one and the same. What happens when a nation is dissolved but the inhabitants move elsewhere en masse (for the most part), does the national karma become racial karma? Or would you think that the national karma is finished and/or has nothing to do with the racial karma?

I don't think that she went into it really but I could be wrong cause my SS isn't with me.

My Star Signs has become "The Secrets of The Universe" - all the other lettering has rubbed of. I think I might post a pic of it As for different Karmas, I haven't heard this one. Group karma annoys me the most because its like OUR responsibility to get everyone else in line, which I think is near impossible - everyone walks at their own speed. However, Randall has done a fine job with this site! I'm hoping the energy transmitted out of here is helping the world in some way. Another thing is, what's group Karma exactly - I mean, one person could instigate the groups energy, and yet the group could attract their leader in the first place, so maybe it all comes down to the individuals. The group is comprised of like-minded people who want to experience the same thing. A flock of birds comes to mind - the leader could be anyone, but they ultimately all go in the same direction...

Yeah, I remember reading about the different kinds of Karma. Interesting. Something that isn't mentioned is Humanity's Karma.

Wouldn't make sense that if there were personal, national, and racial Karma, there would have to be a Karma for the human race?

I know, that's what I'm saying! What if you didn't wnat King Leopold II but he is in power, what happens to you and your family and your land when old Leo creates bad Karma for your nation! And does it apply to you too? I think maybe it would thought Because through free-will you decided to be there at that time and space but would you think that there are special rules that exempt one from the karma of family or nation and that "during the free-will process" one says okay, I will be here at this place and time but I will count on this particular exemption to help me out of this unwanted karma?

I've run out of time basically, I'll hve to come back later.

Well, I think that you have to be aware of the Karma being created. If you don't like it then leave, but try to be concsious. Of course, if you didn't know bad karma was being created, then you wouldn't know to leave, but then I think this would be a sub-concsious decision.

Hey all I made a post in the Global Unity forum where I discuss, in part, my views on national and racial karma. The topic was about overpopulation and clustered living. I know I make long posts, so I'll understand if nobody wants to read their way through it, but I just thought I'd bring it up here with the link.

Hi Eleanor I read what you had in Global Unity, I really appreciated that post And I was talking to someone the other day about the massive emmigration of Hispanics to America and how it probably has to do with the slaughter of Native Americans, and Hispanics coming back to their forefather's land. I think what you said about The United State's karma (the immigration and the land and stuff) was a really good point, I had wanted to put this thread in GU but I thought that it would get too crazy, but anyway I was thinking along those lines too but I had not really thought it through as far as "national karma" and how it could play out.

Thanks silverbells. I realize that was only one example on this topic, of course, but it is nice to know that someone else has reached the same idea you have, you know?

I have a theory about karma.
I think it's like water:
It exists in many forms;
it flows,
it freezes,
it trickles
and disperses;
it runs in lonely streams that
separate and merge,
and pour into the raging sea....

There is One cross, which we all share;
splintered into a trillion pieces;
a trillion tiny specks and motes,
that fill and fog our eyes
like so many tears.

Have you ever witnessed "instant karma"?
I have.

You know, merciful1, I can't be 100% positive that the things I've witnessed have been truly instant karma, but that's certainly what immediately crossed my mind. Usually, I would notice it in traffic back in Miami. Mundane, I know, but nevertheless a very real part of life down there. Speeding on the highway is par for the course in Miami and it can get quite dangerous when the roads are packed to capacity. Almost everyone zooms along at speeds between 80 and 90 mph.
Anyway, more often then not, you will get cut off by some reckless driver on the phone or eating or reaching down for their cds or whatever else that they shouldn't be doing while driving. Or, they're about to miss their exit and shoot across five lines of traffic without worrying about the people inches from their bumpers. It can get scary and you always have to be on your guard and defensive.
Well, without a doubt, every time someone cut me off and I immediately released the anger that comes with the fear of almost getting into an accident, I noticed that the person who cut me off would, within a few minutes timespan, get cut off just as recklessly and dangerously as they had cut me off. Seriously. I'd zoom past and chance a look over at them as their fists flew into the air and their mouths formed the shapes of vulgar words no one but them could hear. Sometimes, their reflexes would fail them and I've actually seen, in my rearview mirror, the person who cut me off crash into someone who had cut them off immediately after.
There are, of course, other instances that are not exactly life endangering but I feel I've written too much already.
