Sue , if you dont have Star Signs your self, I would be happy to type out an excert from somewhere in the beggining of the book on the many who use, pervert, and distort teachings of essoteric knowledge for their own selfish reasons.

Cant recall the word per word on it, and my book is up stairs from where I sit now. But this whole mother and father are having me do this and that thing, and how far she has taken it has been reminding me of the sort Miss Goodman was warning about. She hasnt been as effective as the sort Goodman was concerned about, but still of a similar mold as some of the "special punch" drinking cults who have heavily distorted arcane truths for thier own causes.

I do have the book somewhere....thanks Magus.....you really are extremely articulate....and good to take the time to post .......

Part of me like to bear (or bare ) the burden. Plus I love you, Sue. And Magus is so fun.

Hopefully this will all be over by tomorrow. At some point you just have to let it go, and unfortunately in this case I think we need to let her go as well. Taurus doesn't have the stubborn mantle for no reason. I suggest guarding against trying to make sense of her, because I fear there is none to be found, and getting involved trying to instruct may be a futile effort.

For now they've got me.

Hiya DevilFish and Sueg,

The reason I say I cleanse the room before/after readings is caz of the way I view the Tarot works. I agree, the Tarot is a wonderful tool-and so I treat my deck with the upmost respect. I have my deck homed in a lovely velvet bag, and the only time I take my cards out is for a reading. I also cleasne the cards themselves before and after every reading. Now, I do this because I believe the Tarot works by unconsiously awakening the universal energy each of has within. Maybe its far out, but yes I believe on some level we do already know the answers we seek... The cards themselves are only a tool for tapping into this awareness, and give us our answers based on our thoughts, feelings, and unconcious knowledge. That is the energy I speak of. The reason I clear it, is because many a times when people want advice they're experiencing some major upset in life. Loss of employment, divorce, illness, etc. The feelings/thoughts that are going on within are then spread around the room. Of course, this would likely happen even without the Tarot which is why I do house blessings and cleasnings every now and then (: I almost forgot to mention, my son once got a hold of the cards and was playing with them. He didn't seem to be afraid of the images, but I don't like of him playing with the cards. Feels disrespectful, they are a tool and should be resepcted as such.

My Cancer buys the "kids" more chidl friendly toys. Pokemon Cards, Checkers, and I must not forget the endless collections of Video Games. Of course he has no use for them... lol.. yeah right His second love is Video Games. I'll walk into the living room, with my son and him mesmerized as they shoot aliens in space.. eyes glazed over... lol.

Planet I know what you mean girl.....I cant stand video games - can you?

I am glad to see our little one is painting mad - coming out with some cool stuff....he got hold of some paint the other day and covered the whole of his wardrobe......pale green with yellow stars and spots...looks very cool...better than I could do......hahaha...

They is a gonna put us all to shame aint they...we think we know stuff......just us wait.......

And then of course when our boyeen is 12 or so he is gonna walk in with his tarot cards and say do you wanna reading then mum........LOL........and then tells me he used to sneak down in the middle of the night to read mine......my karma hey, my karma...

Oh well ladies and gents sense of humour at all times.....(if possible).

LOL the video games, the video games. I can't really say they annoy me, its more like I don't get the fascination/hynotic hold they have on my boys. They are able to sit in front of the screen for hours upon hours... I'll try and play, but after say 20 minutes I get bored. My daugther is the same way. The good thing is having the guys entertained playing games frees me up to have alone time

I think I remember you mentioning your little one is also a Scorpio? He probably is very sensitive already. My daughter is a Gemini Sun, with the Sun and Venus in the 8th, Scorpio Rising and Pluto in the first. At 8 years young, she's already quite intutive and sometimes I'm shocked by all that she already knows/understands.
