With all respect, as I said I have goofed in this manner with Lotus off-line, so I didn't think she would take it personal. I have also goofed with her here in Lindaland with her. And I stated I was sorry, correct, if she took it personally? If I would've known she was going to react in this manner, I would've never mentioned, "hehe.. Lotus, are you out with your new hubby, or something of the same manner" That is why I called her Drama queen, because it's nothing new to her.

I am not one to insult. So, going forward, she knows. You do not know the whole story.

I aint doing too bad, thanks for asking...I am off to England tomorrow to be with my dad for 3 days. He isnt in a good space at the moment..

Its hard when I am in a different country, but I am hoping to visit him every few weeks.

Nepthys, pretty cool we posted at the exact minute.
I don't believe that things are entirely pre-destined. And I also don't believe in complete order. Observationally, everything has it's place and polarity.
Chaos/Order. Existance of one, would mean existance of the other as well.
The existance of one pronounces the existance of the other, such as light and dark. Light shines in darkness, pronouncing its existance, otherwise would we realize it?
And also, vice versa.
I think there is a beautifully, awesome perfect symmetry of the Universe. It's awing how scientifally its beauty is mathematically proven through theory time and again. But, also...I believe there is random energy as well.

In reponse to your questions regarding fate, destiny and predermination I believe that some things are obviously predetermined but I don't believe that all things are predetermined. I believe that we only have one destiny and that is to become one with God and all of creation and live eternally.

By that I mean that our destiny as children of God is predetermined, eternal life of the soul is predetermined, the orbits of the planets and all in the universe is predetermined and that the sun will come up and set each day is predetermined. It's predetermined that we will all grow old and die one day. All living things eventually die. I sometimes resent that a tree will outlive me but that has been predetermined to be so. I may have omitted some more things that are predetermined but I think you get the point that I am trying to make.

I believe that we have the capability due to free will to make choices that can change the direction of our lives, alter the course of events in our world that can change history, and all around improve ourselves and our world. For that reason I don't believe that anything outside of nature and our true destiny as children of God is once and for all fated and therefore cannot be changed.

There are maybe a few things that we cannot even change about ourselves such as the temperment that we are born with. We can't change our genetics but we can alter our temperment and learn to direct it towards the positive or negative as the case may be depending on the choices that we make.

I hope that I made that clear enough. I overslept today and am still working on waking up. Might need more coffee.

Not ignoring all the other things on this thread but that is none of my business and in respect to you and your thread here, Nephthys, I wanted to stay on the topic.

Ummm, Lotus Do I have to post e-mails here to prove that we did joke? I am not one to post e-mails and past posts, but I will if you continue. It is true you forget. Maybe you are working too hard and need some rest. Maybe I joked with you on a wrong day. Don't try and make me look like a liar, lady... I have all the e-mails from where we joked, where you insult me when I try to calm you down, and so on... so let's not go there. You say you feel insulted, I can find threads were "you" have insulted me. Again, my intentions were never to insult you as I joked with you before, but don't worry I will not joke with you again.

Lotus, how are you? Sorry i havent sent you any messages in a while, just felt i needed a break from here. And in doing so, i left you behind. Which was something i didnt realise i had done until now. I've always valued you and your opinions. Since being away, I've been rather busy finding myself. So far so good!
