Returning to your Innocence

I wonder if people read things like that
and think "blah, blah, blah
B O R I N G!!"

...As if innocence in that context means daisy fields, joy-bubbles and childlike
gullibility or something.

Innocence and Sensitivity are the strongest
things in the world.

What kind of endurance and strength of Spirit,
do you think it takes to BE your Own Self, regardless of all the whos who continuously try to shape you into their kind of who?
...or to continue
to be Sensitive and endure so, unaltered, in a cold, superficial, aggressively self-righteous and
exploitive world?

To forgive and trust people again and again?
Do you think it's for the faint-hearted who tire easily?
If it were weak, it would just give up and harden itself...diminish and evaporate it's identity into the mob.

Why would it keep hoping and enduring against all odds?
Against all reason and logic?
Against all the voices that would tell it to do otherwise?

Innocence listens to no one outside of itself.
It defies all persuasion....all odds.
It walks its own way with Fierce Independant Spirit.

It's a powerfully Passionate Spark!!!

It's Alive, it's Intense, it's Erotic!!!

It's all the Muse-inspired, Rebellious
and Independant Passionate Life-Force burning within you.
It's the restless stirring
that has inspired your every Quest and Adventure.
It's the Hope that has restrengthened and
renewed your spirit in all the Golden Dawns
that followed your every most Darkest, Neverending, Tormentuous Night.

People who know themselves (who have returned to the Purity of them Selves),
beyond all the outside opinions of the world,
who have found themselves and are fiercly determined
to Live their own Truth,
are an upsetting Force.
They are anything but complacent.
Anything but gullible.
Innocence is Wise, Stoic and Foreseeing.

If it Trusts, it's not because it foolishly believes
things will turn out wonderful for it.
It is entirely aware of the risk,
that might cause enormous pain and disappointment,
but it does so anyway, fully prepared to take it on, regardless.
There is a confidence within that knows
the Spirit will continue to endure/flourish/survive/evolve/grow no matter what kind of pain or horror it would need to withstand.

Weak???

Think back to your youth, that Fire you felt burning within You,
that Warrior Spirit that felt it could Conquer the World.
The Rebellious Anarchist,
who challenged and defied society's conventions and restrictions....labels,
expectations.

Purity.

It's a Divine Madness!

Ruled by no one.
Owned by no one.

It's nemesis' are:

Indifference
Apathy
Conditioning
Restriction
Limitations
Assumption
Stereotypes
Expectations
Definitions

Innocence/Purity has taken on a zillion attempts
at its Conditioning and shaken them all off.
Innocence is RAW and REAL, DEFIANT, TRANSMUTATED/METAMORPHOSISED.

Purity doesn't give a sh*t what the neighbors say
or ever consider keeping up with the Jones'.

It questions authority
and takes nothing at face-value.

One thing tho, Innocence, does care what people think, but it does not matter, in the Mind of the Quest, for the True Self....

Yes, very sensitive and feeling,
of course Innocence cares about other's
feelings.
It just can not be overly concerned with others
misperceptions of its Self.

In response to your first post:
It takes a lot of courage to be in touch with one's innocence. Innocence does care about others. It does get hurt when others misunderstand it. But it sees through people, it sees beyond their actions, it sees their real motives, and that is why it forgives. To not try to convince people, to not try to protect itself, to expose itself in all its vulnerability, that is real strength- not weakness.

how wonderful is understanding?

InLoveWithLife,
you touched on the essence
so succinctly ~ that ever-awareness,
and ever-faith, but yet, for being so passionately
feeling must struggle
with moments of doubt from realizations
that come from knowing.
How natural these painful moments are,
but evenso, they are passing and we move through them.
They strengthen us,
they reTurn us to Our Selves
they reMind us of the Truer Path where we were heading.

I wish I had more time,

Insightful yell

Innocence is a great quality of the being.
God appears to them as a child.

Its hard to sustain our innocence in society. To make our own music. People have ideas and beliefs and they can't break
from their mould.

But we have to continue doing what we must.
Wonderful thoughts.

Innocence as in a childs smile.

Innocense of the first time a Guy kisses a girl.

Or innocense of the first time a girl sees a naked man.

Innocense of the first time a girl discovers she has period.

Or innocense the first time a man knows a woman.

This rant here had been brewing within me
for a long time.
Perhaps those of you who are open and sensitive and honest could understand the ongoing frustration and sorrow of realizing you are forever mistaken and misunderstood
and the inner strength required to keep
enduring this amazing knowing Strength of with which you feel so True of your Self
...to keep shaking off all the misperceptions and keep living True to your Soul.

Which, as a sensitive Being, is often difficult, especially needing to realize you are entirely alone, for even those you care about the most, and who you believe understand you the most, will also misperceive you. A saddening realization, but True. And in these crushing moments there is your choice---either crumble in that realization of that Aloneness, or allow it to empower you further as an Independant, Original Being.

Innocence has to be strong,
it has to continuously remain Aware and Alert.
For people will forever try to exploit it for their own means. Or attempt to distort it into something it is not.

Call it survival. It is the most difficult thing in the world sometimes to just BE.
An ongoing struggle of which takes enormous fortitude of Spirit.

It gives, even knowing it may not be cherished in return. It gives, knowing others may take it for granted or exploit it. It prepares itself for such a response with such intuitiveness and Sensors. (withdrawing and moving elsewhere for protection, if is such the case) It gives because it is Pure from itself, regardless of what occurs beyond it from the outside.

It is only Being true to its Nature and cannot allow what may occur from it to alter that initial natural inclination. It has to shrug off the consequences, as corruptions from outside itself.

These things are not of Me.

Fayte~~so very True. We are all Pure deep inside, uncorrupted by the Outside. Pure not meaning non-sexual or non-rebellious, or non-adventurous...Pure, rather,
as meaning Original and Dinstict...unaltered by the World.
Which is the most amazing thing, isn't it?
To have experienced and lived, and know so much, yet to be able to reTurn and Remember and Know yourself, despite all the Static and influence that so frequently might have influenced it to unravel, Astray.
