This was years ago. But I didn't realize it till now. I had to be about 10 years old. And I was in my room, with the most anxious and unsettling feeling imaginable. (And terrified of dogs)
And I heard a low growl, it was so heavy, and the sound of it, I'll never forget. Sends ice down my spine just thinking about it.
And I saw these bright red eyes, and a huge figure. It was a dog, as far as I was concerned, but it was massive and oddly shaped. Thank god I was on the top bunk. I remember slamming my room door, jumping into bed and throwing my covers over my head. Scratching myself endlessly, praying I was dreaming..(because to me it was just a dog). I called for my mother endlessly, but when she came, there was nothing there. But so help me god, I know it was real. I'll never forget it, just the feeling alone was incredible (in a bad way of course).
I've read all kinds of things about sightings similar to mine. How if you "look them in the eyes youdie within a month, etc". I don't know what I believe, but I know what I saw and experienced.
What do you guys think? I'd really appreciate it if you give more insight/opinion.

I was at my grandmother's house in Mississippi. It's a really old house, dating back to like the 1800s. But I was looking outside one of the bedroom windows and saw it sulking pretty close to the house(wide open land). This was very late at night...possibly between 1am and 3am? I've heard about them being hunters of bad souls. I know the previous owners of the house (like wayyyy back) were slave owners, supposedly very cruel people. My great-great-greats (etc...i cant count how many greats haha) were their slaves. That's all I've got so far. I had a feeling that it *wasnt* after me, but it was just spooky in sight. Probably because I was already so scared of dogs, and then I saw it, jumped and looked away, looked back and it was just gone, without a trace. But there were deep claw marks around teh area I saw it in the next morning, which we found awkward. ------------------

Yikes. I've never heard of such a thing (hell hounds). What is the origin of this, if anyone knows? I mean, why dogs? Are there other animals? Are they ghosts of bad dogs? Do other animals have these? (i.e. are there hell giraffes, etc?) Are they only carnivores? Is it supposed to be the devil taking a form that woudl scare the person in question? Do they hurt people or are they just trying to harm your soul in some way?I have a friend from New Mexico who swears by the fact that there are spirits there who are part man, part animal... and they kill people. They are called "skin crawlers" or "skin creepers" or something like that. Like she swears she saw a man walking, and he looked back at her, crouched down, and turned into some sort of wolf looking creature and ran off. Right before her eyes. I'm open minded to all things, but some of this stuff seems like more of a folk legend to me than anything. Although, this world is one wacky place, and one thing I have learned is never say never. I truly believe it's Mind Over Matter, whatever you want to feed with your mind, will appear with what you fed it, if it's fear, then it will be something that scares you, in this instance you must release your fear, and send LOve energy from your Mind, changing whatever you fed with LOve, will change it's matter. Maybe so lotus, maybe so. I do believe in that logic myself. But I also know better not to let it get the best of me. Which is why I question it all. Which is why after 11 years I finally asked this question.I don't know what I believe. Like I often state, I'm torn between a crazed spirituality fanatic with too much faith, and a cold, rigid, exacting scientist who believes that if we can see it and touch it it is "real". And to be honest, I'm kind of glad to have that kind of skepticism and open-mindedness grafted into my character. I'm the most honest person with myself, (way more honest than with others, I'm afraid), and I know that without that purely logical side driving me insane, I'd send myself on some wild goose chases. Very wild ones...

Now I don't know what I believe, like I stated before. But I *do* believe in the God and the Devil, Haints and Demons.. of any sort...It's more of a feeling rather than something I'd been taught. *That* feeling (that I absolutely cannot describe but it is overwhelming..i'd say "faith" but its a little different than that) on top of everything else, convinces me that things like this ^ exist.
Seeing isn't always believing, but for me feeling is. (I'm a Water person, what can I say?)

Alanabelle86,I believe it can be real, and some are just apparations/an entity, nonetheless, just as with a normal dog, they can sense Fear, if you do not exhibit Fear, they will not attack you, this takes absolute Faith, in the POwer of God within you!

I see dark swirling energy vortexes, all around us. Creatures from other planes feeding on our energy. We must protect ourselves. Lotus is right, we must feed the light, she knows of the dark forces around her, I can see them in my 3rd eye chakra...Lotus do you see the dark forces around you? You must combat them.IP: Logged |

DaisyChain, I pay no attention to them, so they go away, yes, they are always around, I had to teach my daughter's how to do that also..
Many manipulate these dark forces, and use them against you, you must under no circumstance, give them any of your Energy, instead feel and give it LOve, or simply nothing at all. ...I'm off to work, will be on later, after 11 LOve and Reverence to ALL... . IP: Logged |

Fayte it was a warning from angels...only angels can see the dark energy around us, angels whisper to us through our crown chakra, god energy, they watch over us and keep us safe, especially children. The soul hunters are demons who have strayed from satans path and are under the service of God now, they wish to be back in god's favor but must earn it by protecting the innocent, they wish to regain their status as angel's which they lost by siding with Lucifer. Angels are divine beings, they are the next level of reincarnation after being a human, if one lives a life of piety and generosity they will reincarnate as a lower angel. These lower angels must hide in shadows and dreams, they do not have great power, they must prove themselves, and are still tied to the earthly plane. These angels are shapeshifters, made of ether, they can take forms such as the red eyed hounds mentioned before. These angels can not communicate easily with human either, only through very obscure means, they do not have access to crown chakra as higher angels do. These angels are often associated with gaia, protecting the environment, trees. After life as a human, the soul realizes the importance of balance and the planets life essence, they see that the earth is really a cell on god's body, and what we do to this cell we do to god. Each planet lines up to form a cosmic mosaic of life, but not until the higher incarnations of angels can one leave earth and travel elsewhere. Seraphs are very high classes of angels that have the ability to travel through time/space/dimensions, they maintain balance across all the wide manifestations of god's corpus. Cherubs, on the other hand, are born through a lower ether/shadow angel volunteering to go back and be killed as an innocent child/baby, this releases and incredible amount of karmic debt for the family of that child, and allows them to ascend more quickly, after the child dies they are reincarnated as a cherub. Once a soul becomes an angel they cannot move or shift levels unless they want to, their body is composed of pure energy/light and does not age or decay. hi Fayte ~ it is interesting how mainstream religions demonize the gods/deities of other religions. wondering, are you familiar with Beezlebub? what your thoughts are about him? from what i found, i think he was originally a middle eastern god who became demonized over time and religious regime changes.i recently had a dream in which i was walking through swarms and swarms of flies for quite a while. i tried to discover the meaning of this, and read somewhere that swarms of flies represent demonic entities. well, it seems the reason for this is that they are associated with the demon (deity) beezlebub, which is actually a variation on the original language spelling of his name. anyway, i was just wondering, if swarms of flies might mean something different outside the demonization of a non-western religious deity. i admit, this portion of the dream was very unpleasant and surreal, and seemed like something intended to be mentally disruptive. i'd appreciate your thoughts on this, if there's any relevance in it, as you seem to have a good resource of unconventional knowledge about such things. thanks. You are somewhat correct.
I do not have time right now to go into it but basically Baal was the ancient name for God in that area of the world. Baal became Baalzebub to some who decided to worship another God.
Odd though, in the Bible, Lord tells the people , to paraphrase;
"do not call me Baal anymore, call me Jehovah".
And get this.....
Lord God is the ONLY enity who hisses for flies. And hisses at all. So who really is the lord of the flies eh?

Those are old testament references before Jesus came to earth and died for man's sins. That was a different god, not the one of the new testament but a violent, wrathful god, with no pity. That god was defeated in a battle and was banished to another plane.
