What is the source of someone being psychic?
From where do they come?
Are these messages from angels or God?
or
someone's brain is working too much.

Being Psychic simply means they are sensitive.

Sensitive to what? The universe. It is all about energy and the spiritual awareness is imprinted in the Universe. Sensitive people can tune in to the subtle energy and draw it and understand. Some people may be knowing more, some less. Interestingly everyone are sensitive in one way or the other, but we seldom realise.

I am "one who knows without knowing how i know" or something like that. As a child i prayed not to see certain things and still do. i asked to be shown in a different way or time frame so i wouldn't feel startle/fear energy.

again I say, we all have psychic ability. It comes with the anatomy and physiology of being human beings. Our abilities and awareness can be tainted, untried, confusing, misunderstood, poisoned, undiscovered and more.
I spent much time in nature alone as a child and most of my awareness came from then as I intently insistently saw, studied, felt, breathed and flew universal awareness. A dancing Native American spirit was often with me. As the realization of what was opening up for me because of my universal awareness could and would cause me discomfort at times, i prayed distinctly about how i could become aware of these things without discomfort. For instance: it would frighten me for dead relatives to manifest where their doing so might cause me fright and that goes for ghosts, spirits, and other stuff although i often see plenty.
i have been called crazy, off my rocker, big liar, nuts, and insane at times. I'm not-haha
Mine came from genetics, perserverance, opportunity, openness, practice, and having my "psychic" awareness be my primary brain language. love tuxedo

Everyone is psychic to some degree. It just depends on how accepting or what their belief system is - a child may grow up in a household where there is a lot of fear and belief that being psychic = evil. So the child lives in fear of what they see/feel/hear/sense and suppress/ignore it or learn to discount what they experience.

I've always been sensitive to energies and just know about certain things. My mother was psychic too.

Very interested in this. I've always told people that I feel comfortable or uncomfortable in certain people's space or their aura.
Sometimes I almost feel protected being with certain people. Others make me want to leave the room fast lol! Without even saying anything to them or looking them in the eyes.. just a feeling I get.
Maybe that's why I've had such a hard time making friends growing up. If I don't feel comfortable with someone, I won't hang around.
Always wondered about that..

TuxedoMeow.. When I was little I did the same thing. I'd pray to God not to show himself to me because I'd be scared.
I saw strange things when I was little. Like my bed was right next to the closet. There were nights I'd look over and see shadowy skeletons dancing in the closet.
One night I was laying in bed and saw shadowy images of bows and baby booties floating across my bed and over my sister's bed. I remember asking her if she saw them and she said no...I think I kind of freaked her out a tad lol!
And one night we were outside and I looked up at the moon and to this day I swear I saw a lion carrying a cup of coffee walking across the moon... I pointed at it and asked my mom if she saw it and she looked at me like I was nuts lol!

Lovelyone-i too had closet shows-very strange stuff like a circus made up of small but scary people also little people sometimes in the daytime, too. the daytime ones were not as scary but strange. the closet ones had this guy in a top hat with a twirly mustache-it was like i had to watch them and not go under the covers-i think it kept them at a distance so they could only intimidate me but not hurt me... ?
One thing that helps our psychic senses is shutting down some of those inner brain voices and also avoiding the bombardment of tvs, cell phones, ads, machines and stuff.

That's funny that tuxedo meow and I both had similar experiences. I've always wondered if it was me being overly imaginative as a kid or...?
Helps to know there's other's out there with similar childhood memories.
I truely believe as well that if we hadn't been or continue being around tv's, mirowaves, cell phones, etc. that maybe we would be more sensative as adults to our psychic abilities...since I believe that we all are psychic to some degree or another. It's a matter of how developed our senses are, or how much exposure we have had growing up in this modern age.
