Why am I making you cry, Kat? I haven't been following this thread I just heard that song I hadn't heard in so long and decided to post in at random somewhere here so that I could share it...didn't mean to upset anyone.

I think HSC was only kidding, but sometimes things people say can affect us in ways they weren't intended...when we are feeling low/ vulnerable.

Listens to Trees - All those people picking through garbage, the illness, the poverty, sleeping in the streets - the music... Those poor mules. It was very deep and moving. I don't think I could ever handle a life like that. I like my bath water from the faucet and chocolate in a box. I guess I hit the human quality of life lottery. In no way is "karma" or past lives involved in these people's fate( nor mine) nor is "old/young soul" in play with this human existence. I think some people just get lucky while others suffer. I'm sure there is happiness and sadness in any situation - (the dead can dance)- and people with extreme wealth here are fat and not motivated stick in their own limited thinking. But my/our options are not limited. We can create the life we want. Be pretty in this society and doors are held open for you. Be pretty in a third world country and you can rely on your looks in prostitution. I do not think God has anything to do with this. Some people and governments who are ego driven create systems of "evil" that entrap others and give them few choices. The fact is we are entrapped with the machine-like system to work eat sleep pay bills work eat sleep. No wonder we fill ourselves with outside quick fixes.

Nope not feeling vulnerable or low - I get where HSC is coming from. I guess my blue sad face really should have been a wink. I need to get a wider range of message icons.
