Hi Lexx,

Just wanted to ask a couple of questions if you don't mind. You say from your own research that the soul enters the body around 3 months for the reasons you stated. The quickening is right around the time when the Mother feels her baby move for the first time right?

It's a depressing subject for me because when I was in my teens I was 'forced' to have an abortion... I realise that no one is forced to do anything, it's just that in hindsight I know how I was forced pyschologically & emotionally. Physcially, however, I probably could have ran away... but I was trapped by the other two by my abuser. He had me chained up, figuratively speaking.

So my question is... I was around 17 weeks when I was taken to have an abortion (I was extremely ignorant and did not know how my baby was developed ~ I was told lies and I was far too young) Although a part of me really loved this baby (a deep feeling I had inside).... I went through with the abortion in absolute fear of the threats and consequences if I did not.

So the devastating day arrived and while I was in the hospital bed, right after they gave me suppositories in my Vagina, I felt 'labor' start... In that moment I also felt my baby move for the first time...

I realised how big she was (size of hand), a real baby!....

I was told it was too late...

Then I was given a general anesthetic and passed out....I woke up knowing that something/someone was taken from me...

All these years I was battling to understand WHY this happened... Has the soul incarnated again? I believe so, as my second born...

But why would the soul incarnate literally moments before being aborted? It hurts so bad to know that's what may have happened!!I always thought it was at first breath?

I don't know how knowing the truth would help, I just want to understand what was happening on a Soul level at the time... the pain is still extremely raw.

Thank you Lexx

eta.. and it was also Linda's insight into abortion via her Lexigram that helped me a great deal... What are your thoughts on her beliefs? I am not looking for justification, as I know how wrong it felt
(for me)... just need insight to consider.

Yes.

For those of you who are entering this discussion late, please reference my replies to SunChild here: ]http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum27/HTML/000170.html]

quote:

Not exactly.
quote:
quickening
.

maternity, pregnancy, gestation - the state of being pregnant; the period from conception to birth when a woman carries a developing fetus in her uterus

Up until 10 weeks after the last menstrual period.....
it is called an embryo.
This is before the body can generate an auric field of its own.

After 10 weeks it is called a foetus/fetus.
By 12 weeks it has begun the convolutions of the brain, and is now able to generate its own auric field, and attract a soul to it.
That is when the quickening includes the soul/body/aura of an entire living being.
That moment when the soul enters the foetal body, is rarely felt by the mother, but some sense the new soul has entered.
The usual time to feel the movement is around the 16th. week.
That is the quickening most notice.
So,
1. Q1=the soul quickening/soul entering body; about 3 months/12 weeks
2. Q2=the mother feeling it move for the first time, about 4 months/16 weeks

Firstly dear one,
Forgive yourself
It was not your fault.
That is where you were in your development emotionally at that time.

Hindsight is often much different that where our heads were before.
quote:
So my question is... I was around 17 weeks when I was taken to have an abortion (I was extremely ignorant and did not know how my baby was developed ~ I was told lies and I was far too young) Although a part of me really loved this baby (a deep feeling I had inside)....
Yes, you had sensed that "someone was home" for about 5 weeks already. That was why you felt love.
The soul felt it too. Do not mourn that. It was a real exchange, cut short by the extreme influences of others, not by you for complying with what they wanted.
quote:
I went through with the abortion in absolute fear of the threats and consequences if I did not.
Again, please forgive yourself.
You were young and innocent, and others were running your show so to speak.

I too believe he is your second son.

quote:
But why would the soul incarnate literally moments before being aborted?
It did not.
It came in about 5 weeks before. And a soul does not choose the time, it is drawn to the foetus when the foetus able to generate its own aura, can hold the soul in the body. It does not know what the future holds for it.
quote:
It hurts so bad to know that's what may have happened!!I always thought it was at first breath?
No,
sorry, my research indicates not at first breathe but at 12 weeks.
I am sorry, but I must say that the soul was there for about 5 weeks already.
You would not have felt love for an empty vessel.
That is one reason I highly disagree with Linda Goodman concerning pregnancy.
That love exchange whilst in utero betwixt mother and child would not happen if there was only an empty vessel within.
It felt your love. Treasure that brief time of love exchanged, for that love brought that soul to you again as your second son!
His soul remembered the love, your love exchange, not the leaving.
That is why he has returned to you!
See, body pain is body pain when in utero, a very short lived and completely forgotten event.
The soul only remembers the love.
quote:
I don't know how knowing the truth would help, I just want to understand what was happening on a Soul level at the time... the pain is still extremely raw.
He forgave you. Now you forgive yourself.
It was not your fault.
And like I said, the soul in a body so new, forgets that pain. Call it a gift from god that such memories are purged from the soul.

Thank you Lexx
You are very welcome dear one.{{{hugs}}}

Sunchild I just want to say that I think in the case of abortions, if the soul has consciousness it would not enter a body unless it had karmic reasons to be aborted. I think that Everything must have a reason in karma.

Karmic?
Not that early in my opinion.
However an exception I have found,
is the need for a;
SPACER/DISTANCING
Incarnation.
When folks die;
often the grieving left behind,
try to "hold" the deceased to them.
This can trap a soul until the grieving one(s)
have all died in worse case scenarios.
A man I know, was devoted to his mother.
Too devoted.
Mother 91, son 51.
Well mom died suddenly.
Healthy as could be, then wham!
He grieved for her terribly.
He told me a few weeks later,
"she won't go!"
I told him,
"because you will not let her go"
So worked with him and he let her go.
However later, one night,
I heard her!
She said, "help me please! I know you hear me!(I was with her on my birthday a week before, when she was having a good day in her own home)We talked about her life and her impending death.
She knew if she needed help afterward, that I would help her.
Well,
she wanted freed from her son.
She needed a "spacer" lifetime,
a distancing, to make it harder for her son to locate her in next lifetime.
Well, see, by coming in and only having a short lifetime, even in utero,
it severs the bond betwixt the one needing freed and the griever(s).

So to recap:
1. Person dies.
2. Griever(s) trap them.
3. Person if temporarily freed by the griever(s),
4. moves into another body, in utero.
5. Griever(s) still sense the person.
6. Person is re-trapped. Or feels trapped by the griever(s).
7. Person may have indeed chosen to enter a body which may be aborted, or die young.
8. That breaks the cords betwixt them and the griever(s)
9. Then when they incarnate again, often very quickly, like entering another body within a week.

I have known many of these cases.
I hope that made sense.
I feel many of my lost pregnancies were souls needing spacer/distancing incarnations.
I allowed them to use me as their vessel of
release from the griever(s) who would not set them free.
I noticed that most of my pregnancies started about 3 months before the time certain folks died.
I was therefore at the times of their deaths, "ripe" to be host to them, to help them achieve freedom from those who would trap them via grief.

Quinnie, That is cool to know that about you! Were you 'born' into it or did you become attracted to Anthroposophy later?
(I know there are a few Steiner people here (or were here)... I may have already known that but forgot, ..baby brain)

Lexx ~ Again, I wish to thank you for replying.
The reason I ask you things is because you are not the type to read something out of a book and say whatever someone else said- I figured your knowledge comes from deep experience and honesty. So thank you.
All I can do is talk to people and then arrive at my own conclusions (at least the parts I can piece together).. I don't expect all that to come in a day.
The whole karmic/reincarnation thing is still processing in my mind & heart ~ I am currently studying Anthroposophy and I find applying scientific methods toward understanding the spiritual is working for me at the moment. I have been intouch with a few of my lives now but it has only generated more questions- hardly any answers LOL

I was struggling with this so bad the other night. Every time I'm pregnant, around the middle, I have this deep deep regret and painful memory surfacing surrounding the time of the abortion.
I think about how it was a baby, not just an embryo, which is still murder in my opinion, but it feels so much worse on the inside to know how I committed the worst sin on earth. How can a mother murder her own baby? Even if someone threatened her to do it?
There are times I understand why and how I was forced to commit this atrocity, yet it still doesn't feel like I can ever actually forgive myself, even if I was lied to, threatened to be beaten and left alone, and forced, and told it 'was too late', and the doctors totally missed my pregnancy until it was the second trimester, and told there were going to be complications because of the meds I was on, I still feel like I will never forgive myself. I don't care about being on the pill, I've heard of mums accidently conceiving while on the pill and continued to have very healthy babies.
Even though I believe the soul is with me again as my second born, sometimes I get waves of sadness knowing that no matter how many children I have I am missing one. Regretting an abortion is a terrible feeling. I have seen others regret it too, I've been reading others stories on forums. Most were young like I was, just a kid emotionally, and were coaxed into it by the very people who should have supported them and respected them.

If anyone wants to have an abortion they would have to literally get through me first, I take it very seriously now, because I know firsthand the gravity of it once you awaken out of the ignorance. I would not wish this pain on anyone. Later in life you regret it, unless you somehow can justify it forever, which I doubt, or stay ignorant. My F2M sibling had a failed pregnancy (ectopic) but while we didn't know that, 'he' considered having an abortion because that is what 'his' friends all suggested, like it's a legitimate god damn choice! all I had to say was what happened to me and he felt my pain and woke up. One day 'he' wants a baby from donor sperm and to carry it 'himself'. He was born a she.

Anyway, abortion is not ok in my opinion, it causes me pain every day. At the time I had no idea that in nearly 10 years I would still be heartbroken. More so than the days following the abortion, which my then partner filled me up with xanax and alcohol for 2 weeks following (oh how thoughtful). I got off that crap and became healthy and forgave myself, now that i am having children, I am experiencing a new kind of regret and pain.
