My 15 year old poodle will be 16 in a couple of days. Still eating like a hog.I love em!!! ------------------

I spoke to his old owner a couple of minutes ago. She called. I got him from her when he was 4.
She calls a couple of times a year to see how he is doing.
I cried to her and told her I didn't want him to die and she started crying to.
She's coming this weekend to see him.
She said he's lived so long because I have given him all my love. ------------------

I had my poodle put to sleep this morning. My baby. God it was so hard to come home and not see him here after 12 years I had him.
May he rest in peace. I can't wait to get his ashes. He was my child.

Thanks guys. My house feels so peaceful. Such a beautiful vibe. It makes me feel like I want to breathe in and out with releif. That is his energy. I always knew him so well.I rememebr when I was like 17 I went through a 3 year depression. Everyone noticed he was depressed with me.
He loved me like crazy. Definitely my soulmate.
I am so happy he is at peace right now. I feel this great energy all over my house.
He knows I would have died for him.
I'm so glad I was the last thing he saw and smelled while he was going to sleep. I wanted him to go in peace....with me. I had my hands all over his body. God my heart hurts so much.
My eyes are swollen from crying.
His heart stopped beating. They left me alone with him. I put my hands over his heart. No beat9ng and no pain.
When I was in the car on my way there..I was holding him so close. My heart was beating so fast and his started to also. our hearts were against eachother. So I calmed myself to not make him panic. Then both our heart beats slowed again. I kissed him many times and said goodbye. I didn't want to leave. I was in shock.
I left and my mascara was all over my face. I walked in the street crying. I didn't give a f***.
I want to die that way also. Peacefully.

Oh Mystic, now you are making me cry!!! I totally, totally, understand. I have been there and the pain is severe. We lost 5 pets in 2 1/2 years. I hope you will feel better soon.  IP: Logged |

Ohhhh MG! I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. Its amazing what a big hole our beloved furry friend leave in our hearts when they pass. My furry feline "Mugsy" was put to sleep in January of this year. I did the same thing, stayed with her and held her while they injected her. I stared into those eyes and it was as if she was saying "thank you" to me. I know she was in pain in her last days. I had adopted her when i was 7. I also had her cremated. In fact i made a sorta shrine for her. All around her ashes lay beautiful crystals, pictures of her, all upon the window sill in my bathroom. Her favorite spots to lay were basking in the sunshine on the window sill. I chose the bathroom, cause that's the first place i am in the morning and the last before retiring for the day, on top of that, she would lay in there and wait for me to finish my shower or sometimes jump in there with me. Strange she was. But i loved her. So i know the pain you are going thru. Its hard, but you did a very unselfish thing and did what was best for him, and he thanks you. He'll always be with you, as Nephthys said - in spirit! Love and Light to you!!

His old owner sent me pictures of him when he was just about 3-5 months old. I got him from her when he was 4.
I cried so much when I saw them. She sent it in the mail.
It felt so great to see that.
I can't get over it. My life isn't the same anymore.
