*What are signs that it is going to rain, according to animals?*

Expect rain when dogs eat grass, cats purr and wash, sheep turn into the wind, oxen sniff the air, and swine are restless. When cats sneeze, it is a sign of rain. When horses and cattle stretch out their necks and sniff the air, it will rain. Wolves always howl before a storm. Chickens cackle and owls hoot just before rain. When sea gulls fly inland, expect a storm. The louder the frogs, the more rain. ~from The Old Farmers Almanac

Hi Juni,

The plums had all been picked a couple months ago, and we actually are still storing them in the refrigerator. I can't eat any, though, due to a health issue that I can't have any fruit *sigh*

Anyhow, I do have a huge, bright orange, almost perfectly round pumpkin growing! I have a little funny shaped one, too, which is still green. Don't know what's up with that one.

"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll
