You can send yourself an e-mail to the future! I just did it and sent it exactly 4 years from today!
I said what was going on this morning and today, what the weather was like, what we're doing for Xmas, how old my dog is, what car I have, where I live right now, etc.

This is great!! Funny thing, is just the other night i was talking with my man sorta along these lines. I remember doing a letter to myself in 9th grade (when i first started highschool, within the fisrt few weeks) and the teacher mailed them out after graduation (so 4 years later) I was so stupid in 9th grade. lol. I wrote the cheesiest, corniest things. I still have that letter. I was thinking aobut how fun it would be to do again. Some may say not alot changes in 4years. But if one notes and pays attention to the little things, then its a rather interesting read - 4 years down the road. Unfortunatly, my love, doesnt remember doing those letters back in the day.

I'm off to write a letter to the future me of me!!

Ang ~ That's really neat! What kind of things did you say/write?

Yes, I agree, it's fun to note the little things.

Art ~ you're welcome

Oh you know, the stupid young girly comments.
"I hate this teacher"
"The boy who sits beside me is really cute" ... but didn't give his name, so i have no idea who sat next to me, lol.
"This school is really big"
"so-and-so is a snob"
"i hope i make it to graduation"
"smoke more ... ??? " i was a major stoner thru high school, everyone knew were to go if they were out - although not to proud of that now, like i was then
"we are going to McDonalds for lunch today" - i remember laughing at that one. I thought it was the coolest thing that we could go off campus for lunch. But so did all the other students and almost always, I'd return late to school because of the line at Mc-y D's.
On top of that, my handwriting was atrocious.
I'd have to find the letter to read it again and see what else was said ... all i remember was rolling my eyes when i (the present me) read it. lol. Nothing interesting in it at all ... at least that i want to remember now. lol But its really neat to see where i was at, at that point of my life ... which is why as of today - i have sent a letter to the future me of me.

"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll

Ang ~ I think those are cool comments! I wish I could have done that, I would love to see what I would have said back then!

Do you have the Northern Lights/Aurora Borealis this time of year? I wish I could go to Alaska and see them, as well as the beautiful natural scenery and wildlife.

I am typing this from Kaiser, waiting for a prescription, if you can believe that! ha ha!
