Well both the Palestinians and Jews originally came from the area we know as Iraq nowadays.
(same for any Adam/Eve and family)
They were the same people and did not divide into Jews/Muslims until later.
They went away from their homeland and went forth to take by bloody force and trickery,
all lands they believed were theirs to take which means all lands.
Israel was not theirs but they tried to take it by bloody force.
There were already people and civilizations in Israel long before some of the greedy people of ancient Iraq left home to take what was not theirs.
So all the hype about what land belongs to whom is just insane.IP: Logged |

Anyhoo, If a person can't/won't answer where in heck the people came from. If a person can't answer how in heck the whole thing started makes one wonder how that person could have SUCH strong opinions. Anyway, I am done here.  ------------------

Ami Anne, These ladies have given you reams of information which you have totally dismissed. Over and over.
So why now do you think they will fall for it again? 
You have about run out of people to inter act with on any level of intelligent debate or civil conversation.

How did this start?1948 Israel reborn Early 1950's, they were attacked It's went on ever since, the real tragedy there is the Palestinians are disliked around the Arab world and are basically being used as pawns against the Israelis. Google "black September" sometime. I find it passing tragic that Arafat wound up quite wealthy while his own people were sending their children to die for his causes. IP: Logged |

If you want to understand anything, you have to understand the STEPS. I will tell you because for some reason( what could it be ) no one will answer1. There was a land called Palestine which was owned by England
2. It got divided up into land for Arabs--Jordan and land for Jews--Israel. The Arabs picked their bigger land first. 3. Israel was a swamp made beautiful by the deaths of thousands of Jews dying on malaria filled waters. 4. WITHIN JORDAN,ARABS GOT TO FIGHTING AND ONE GROUP WAS KICKED OUT. These were what is known as the Palestinians. 5. No Arab country would take them in even though the Arab land is HUGE. Check out the map. 6. They were left there to foment hatred against the Jews. 7. That is their origin.

Reread my post and ponder it. The ladies have answered over and over and you ignore. It is your way or the highway. Speaking for myself, it`s the highway. Padre, I was watching the Munich Olympics, , swimming practice and Mark Spitz, when the raid was announced.. It was a very frightening and unfathomable experience for a very young girl. I couldn`t process the type of hate and actions. It took a long time and counseling from my Minister to come to grips with the heinous deeds. ------------------

Under the circumstances, it is wisest to let her go on her way. Answering back only keeps a useless conflict going.

Understandable, the Palestinians in the early 70's were granted refugee status in Jordan then tried to overthrow King Assad it went really wrong for them. When the Israelis pulled out of Nablis (?) and left a complete working green house that was promptly looted I lost hope for the situation. The hatred runs that deeply.. IP: Logged |

Class without pupils, I'm fine with that.But people who don't know me might think I have said things against Jews or Israel before, which is COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY untrue. To me, accusations about anti-Semitism or any kind of racism are quite serious, and I think it calls for mod intervention when she repeatedly slanders people. IP: Logged |

I absolutely agee. As well, it breaks the rules. Mod intervention isn`t productive as only Randall can intervene in such serious matters. As it stands, it is a "religous arguement" and no action required. It is best to write Randall with your concerns . ------------------
