yes aaperantly the bible turned into a book of racial theory stating who are the "high" races and who are the "low" races yet we hear so many hitler referances from her that she throws upon those she disagree with.

It is unacceptable and sad on so many levels . It promotes hate, racism and is divisive . The very thing the poster preachs against.

Well, as much as I wish otherwise, there is a difference b/t the saved and unsaved on a spiritual level.

If those who feel that Christ can be dispensed with a barbaric relic of an uneducated age are not pleased with that per se, there is not much to be said.

However, AA's adherence to a failed ideal is counter productive. If the original covenant had been sufficient there would have been no need for Jesus's sacrifice.

The OT Law was given UNTIL Jesus could come and fufill it. The OT and the NT are ONE united book.

Your theology is just your own brand of mush. This sola scripture thing might be OK for a student who has studied the Bible for 20 years but not for someone who tries to pick it up and do it.

raised under the strict Roman
Catholic Church..I feared going
to Church, it was scary,
and I always wondered why,
there was a dead Jesus on the Cross!
and why
would his Father God allow
such a thing..

I was raised to blindly believe
the Bible..
to live in Fear of any wrong doing,
for the wrath of God would be upon me...

well as you see today, I think for
mySelf and research everything..

when I became a member here in
July of 2005, I didn't believe in
Aliens either..

well, one night in Canada, Massawippi,
next door to AYer's Cliff..

My daugher and I woke up
to our house, and all this bright Light..
I thought cars headlights were all
around our house..running from window
to window, trying to find the source
of this unbelieveable Bright Light..
Finally I looked above..
a spaceship!!!

I now know, that aliens exist!

Western Imperialism has done a lot to make the sitch worse. Does anyone really doubt that if the Muslim world had military bases all over our land and treated us the way we treat them that some wouldn't become barbaric, and embrace a fundamentalist form of Christianity that was violent in the extreme and thus be the terrorists? (And with that control and wealth the Muslims would become more civilized and soft as we've done, as long as the toys, novelty, and wealth kept flowing in.) The Cold War helped a little as many of them were more scared of Soviet Russia and so accepted some help by the CIA (including the group that would one day become the Taliban who probably wouldn't exist today had it not been for the USA keeping them going as the Soviets tried to destroy them, and they're even portrayed as heroes in some James Bond movie), but that threat is gone now and even back then they got sick of the dirty tricks and hidden price tags. Had it not been for the aggressive imperialism (by whatever spin phrase you want to call it) I think they'd have joined us in the 21st century as well.
