Boys and their young Coach who were trapped in Caves in Thailand are fully rescued today.

This story in Wikipedia describes how the coach trained the boys in Buddhist Meditation techniques, to help them through the ordeal, for the 18 days underground.

There was a monsoon that caused flash-flooding into the cave-part they were in.

MASSIVE amounts of Prayers when up for the Boys, The Coach, The parents, their school friends, the Seal-Team Diver who lost his life from lack of oxygen, and ALL the teams of Helpers involved ---

I had an interesting experience the other day, based on self-acceptance. Part of it was based off this video I watched. There was a description of thoughts being individual and detached, and that we are the ones who ascribe meaning to them... there is no such thing as mind ~~ just details.

quoting LL-Astri
In traditional Japanese aesthetics,
wabi-sabi (÷¼Å is a world view centered on the acceptance of transience and imperfection.
[2] The aesthetic is sometimes described as one of beauty that is "imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete".
[3] It is a concept derived from the Buddhist teaching of the three marks of existence (Èý·¨Ó¡ sanb¨in), specifically impermanence (Ÿo³£ muj¨ , suffering (¿à ku) and emptiness or absence of self-nature (¿Õ k¨± .

Characteristics of the wabi-sabi aesthetic include asymmetry, roughness, simplicity, economy, austerity, modesty, intimacy, and appreciation of the ingenuous integrity of natural objects and processes.

While I was walking that day, I was 'holding space' with Amma's idea of there actually being no mind.

I had an experience of self-acceptance.

Then/As I heard a scripture rising up in me .. regarding the Higher Mind that we have.

'The Mind of Christ'..

AT the same time as 'that' .. ..
I remembered the story of the discovery of The Gold Buddha.
Today, in my email, I found this message in an email I subscribe to.

(topic) Tara Talks: Remembering the Gold--
{oh no!... It's an Unlisted vid.. so I will respect her and NOT post it.}

Story is here--
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Buddha_(statue)
quote excerpt..
Discovery of the golden statue
In 1954, a new Viharn building was built at the temple to house the statue.
It was moved to its new location on 25 May 1955;
there are a variety of accounts of what exactly happened next,
but it is clear that during the final attempt to lift the statue from its pedestal,
the ropes broke and the statue fell hard on the ground.
At that moment, some of the plaster coating chipped off, allowing the gold surface underneath to be seen.
Work was immediately stopped so that an evaluation could be made.

Aspects - The NM is on the Uranus/Node midpoint and Jupiter is on the midpoint of Venus/Saturn.

Under the influence of this family of eclipses,
individuals may suddenly change the groups with which they are mixing,
either through travel or ideas.
However,
the separation implied by the Venus-Saturn would produce very positive outcomes.
This whole eclipse Series could also talk of suddenly deciding to make greater commitments in a relationship.
Either way,
the eclipse is gentle, and individuals can trust the situations that arise and allow themselves to be led along by their momentum.
---
SarosSeries 11 South
"This family of eclipses is concerned with the need to make sudden reforms.
Old ideas or methods will fail and new systems are required to deal with the events brought by the eclipse.
As a consequence,
the person will need to think of new ways of handling the issues.
Any blocks could be violently or tragically removed."
---
SarosSeries 12 North
"Opportunities to accept the greater responsibilities can come suddenly into the person's life.
These new commitments will most likely come as a result of another individual being unable to carry on.
Although the events which herald these opportunities may be difficult, the outcomes in terms of harmony or self-esteem are good."
end/quote

Wiki continued..
All the plaster was carefully removed and during the process,
photos were taken and are now displayed in the Temple for visitors.
Pieces of the actual plaster are also on public display.
When all the plaster was removed,
it was found that the gold statue actually consisted of nine parts that fit smoothly together.
'A key' was also found encased in plaster at its base,

which can be used to disassemble the statue,
allowing for easier transportation.

The golden statue was discovered very close to the commemoration of the twenty-fifth Buddhist Era
(2500 years since Gautama Buddha's passing)
so the Thai news media was full of reports and many Buddhists regarded the occurrence as miraculous.

quote--
"As the original Wat Muang was destroyed during the ransacking of the former Thai capital Ayutthaya by the Burmese in the 18th century, the temple¡¯s exact origins are unknown. After years of work, the reconstruction of Wat Muang was completed in 1982. In 1990, work started on the Big Buddha and was completed 18 years later, costing around 131 million Thai Baht (around $3.75 million).
The giant concrete structure is finished with gold paint and casts its shadow over not only the Wat Muang monastery and temple, but also the surrounding ¡°Hell Garden¡± featuring statues depicting various scenes from Buddhist Hell."

(topic) Giant Golden Buddha Thailand (Carlos Carlozie, posted Mar 12, 2017) [3:40] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fJlnigHUzw

What's really confusing is that there are multiple vids on the Golden Buddha.. hard to tell which-one was the original statue? so, I posted the one above, because the vid was 'calmer' than the other ones I found which were 'selling tickets' to go inside some kind of building to view a/the statue.. (really super-commercial!!, including the voice of one Thai business-woman telling a visitor, "for $20-buck, put signature here" and we'll leave it at the statue??
LOL-- Gold making gold??? ..
~Capitalists!!! LOL ).

Personally, I follow Jesus.
The exploration and examination of other systems of thoughts enrich my inner-world.

^ I think you might have had a glimpse of what buddhists call "emptiness", "no-mind", Amma gives this vibe, I don't know how to desribe it, acceptance, a complete one of everything, those are the words closer to it but they are not close enuf to the real thing, words are just that, afterall, finger pointing to the moon like Buddha supposedly said.

According to Osho, Masculine and Feminine energy reach the peak through completely different paths, the path of Yang is through awareness(meditation), and the path of Yin is through love.
And in my own experience, mixing up both makes u go nuts, like one foot in one boat and one foot in another. Hence, religions have always focused on purity, like if you are following Christianity, you should follow totally, it is a system to go through, but I do feel like most of the religions, not just Christianity, have been totally corrupted by personnels for their individual gains, so even if one might follow their systems as prescribed totally, one might not end up where they were supposed to lead, cuz the ways might have already been manipulated.

And when I see Amma, it seems like she is pure love, for everything, words won't be enuf tho, it's just a glimpse of the beyond.

And Hi there mirage how do u do ? anonymidarkness says hello.

In response to the original post. I have buddha's serene statutes all over my home

I have read his scriptures , diamond sutra , lotus heart, etc.

since coming across a once alive buddha like master, Osho.I chose to follow his teachings of buddhism as it was meant to be, not the catholication of christian religion but pure buddhism.

Do you have any questions bothering you?
I can meditate on it and give you my spin on it if you like.

Do visit Uni-versal forum on my recent Jesus posts where I allude to Buddha. It is said Jesus went in search of buddha to India during his early years when he was a seeker.

You edited your post ? :O

Sorry for the late ass reply tho, but I had read it, but was thinking of replying when I had the right state of energy for it. But then I forgot, sorry bout it.

Anyway what I was bout to say was that I myself also have the energy in my charts which suggest the ability to walk on both paths, but I have found that it creates a tendency for both when u walk on two paths, like you might be working on awareness related methods in this moment but the next moment you might feel like surrendering, and if u do try surrendering in the next moment, the energy you have created using awareness related method simply gets dissipated because of it, and human mind is such that it has a tendency to jump into another pole before you go too deep in one pole, and it might develop this tendency of going back and forth between the two poles but the effort put will simply be wasted because one path cancels out the other. Basically the person will be half-yin, half-yang, it might even develop bisexuality in the person, these techniques do change the interiority of the person as deeply as one goes into it, even physical changes are possible and if the person jumps back and forth between both the poles, jumping deeply in both the poles in the process, the person might go through lots of trouble.
