These are wonderful, T!I love the koi one too, but my favorite is the night ibis piece and also the one with the scribbly flamingos (no doubt). lol How's the weather by your side? The storm shouldn't be headed that way but the bands might cause some brief problems. Be safe.  IP: Logged |

Thanks everyone!The koi was the first piece I ever sold at the first show. A man bought it for his wife. They both really liked it as well. Honestly, it was not one of my favorites. I feel it was very overworked, but I have gotten a lot of compliments on it and now wish I had it scanned and put on my disk before I let it go. It was time a consuming one. It was based from some pictures I had taken in Sarasota. I just did a little rearranging of the fish in my mind first. Ah yes, the scribbly one NosiS. Some artist friend of mine influenced me there. We sat on the beach many times and scribbled and painted the days/nights away.  His technique is more loose and free whereas I see mine as more calculated. If it wasnt for him, I may not tapped back into my artistic side when I did and have been continuing to now. The weather here is now sunny. It was raining a half hour ago. It's been pretty windy too so the show has been posponed a week. teaselbaby! You have been on my mind a number of times. I was going to send you the link a few times. My friends addys are spread out over three of my email addresses. I need to get them in order in one place so I can send out a group one. I hope to do that later. Talk to you soon.
