Dear friends,

Thanks for all your comments on these works. My newest ones will be put up soon. These pieces are old to me now and I want to keep this thread fresh and alive.

Will try to get to it Sunday....

(plus, i noticed that a bunch of the images on the first page were distorted/broken up ....not sure if they showed up that way on your screens..but it wasnt a freak thing, i checked back on it a few times. weird!)

Very vibrant, but equally so soft and dreamy. I'm a musician and I know nothing about visual arts but, geez, these are incredible.

Again, pardon my shameful visual arts ignorance, but it looks like you've used a few different mediums here. Is that the proper term, "mediums"? As in Oils, Pastels, Water Color, etc.

Ah well, regardless, the point is: it seems to me that you have a fantastic ability for it all.

Beautiful work.

So much talent here, my friend! I love the abstract flamingo piece. Very cool.
I especially love the little hummingbird who tried to be a phoenix.

oh

I can't wait to show these to Rosie. She will clap with glee. I fell in love a couple times... YES, those Flamingos are awesome, both paintings. That yellow one... oooo.

You are such a bird.

Oh my giddy aunt, just look at you. T, these are fabulous. Thanks so much for sharing them with us. My favourite one is the pink and purply, orange and yellowy seeweedy one.

Have you ever thought about painting a tarot deck at all? It's just that these are so mystical in a really loving way and it brings me to mind of a deck that my friend has which I love looking at.

Bravo 26T.

So, I'm wondering, what could be the significance of "26"??

Thank you all! The best part about creating art is hearing how other people have enjoyed it too.

Scorpionic Web, Thanks! Yes, most of these are done in watercolor or acrylic. The ones on wrapped canvas and the ones that look textured (and are) are acrylics. I'm hearing that a lot of people really appreciate the vibrancy and usage of color. Which is interesting to me. I am trying to limit my palatte a bit lately.
What instrument do you play?!
And 26 is the degree of my Sun.

future and Mel, yeah, the little winged ones make great subjects for paintings. I'm curious as to which one Rosie will like best..

charmainec & wheels, thank you!!! Wheels, yeah I have thought of making a deck in the past, but it seems like it would be quite a project! Maybe someday.

lala, Thanks!

and firey,

Youre all really sweet and I appreciate the comments.

Because colors can vary so widely from moniter to moniter...it worries me about how some of these might look on your screens. lol

Ah, the degree.

So, I play guitar like so many others. As such, I strive towards making sounds that I don't hear much of. Its tough to be an individual and create new ideas in music these days, since so much has been done before. I guess it takes a bit of ego to be proud of one's own work enough to perform it for people, so I'm not ashamed to say that I think I'm a rather decent guitarist.

I'm in the process of selecting a recording program for my computer, but there are a number of choices. Once I bother to make a decision, purchase it, along with a good studio microphone, I'll record and upload some tracks.

Right now I only have a 7 song demo that I made with a band of mine, but it is from 2002 and while I think the recording came out nicely, its not much of a representation of where I'm currently at.

Maybe I'll make a myspace music page, then I'll post the link on this website. That probably won't be for a few months though.
