This is me when I was 12 years old. As soon as I hit 13 my hair kinked up and was never this straight again. (Even after an hour with hair dryer, curling iron, mousse, hairspray, dippity-do, or rollers. ) This is probably my favorite hair. Long straigh '70s style hair. Soon I'll show you my '80's style hair- LOL! What a difference!

The weather yesterday was beautiful. When it gets this nice I can hardly keep myself inside to do the things that need to get done.I want to grab a blanket, toss it on the grass and lay around half the day reading a good book, meditating and napping. The other half of the day I'll spend walking around the different neighborhoods and playing in the yard.

Yes, I still like playing in the grass, I really don't understand how some people stop liking that stuff. It makes you feel like a kid again, it just feels so fun to be playful. It does not embarass me in the least to tumble into the grass if my arms buckle, trying to walk on my hands. And I get some kind of goofy pleasure finding things to jump off of, like our outdoor table. (Haven't mastered jumping over our chain link fence- that scares me a bit, I think because I picture my foot snagging and landing on my FACE. *shudder* Yes, I am a bit o' the chicken!)

And I love, LOve, LOVE, eatting outdoors, food tastes so much better. (uh,but I don't like ants). Love grilling food too.

Wonder if I can pick up the internet access signal outside, hmm.......

This is my puffy '80's hair. This is funny....I cut my hair this length thinking that I would have an easier time straightening it because there would be less of it...I loved the straight bobs girl were wearing....but being shorter made the hair poofier. I'm 21 here.

I'm sorry to hear about what you had to go through with your dad, Good Girl
I know the optimism that you talk about too - 5th house sun as well, and that Jupiter of mine is at the top of my chart all alone in the 10th, part of a T-square. No matter how bad it's gotten, I've always been insatiably happy, never down for long. Kinda odd sometimes

Love the pics, btw. Pooooooooooooofy 80's hair! Woohooooo!!! I love it

I'm going to try to dig up one of my photos in the 80's when my hairstyle was all about the banana clip

Ah, the gel, the mousse (oh my god. Mousse. THERE'S a product I just never really understood)...the flaky white bits in the hair forming from hair product overload at the end of the school day, as one walked home, picking tater tots out of their teeth....I miss the 80's! Such an innocent time! Scrunchies and triple socks and L.A. Gears. And Jordache Jeans, and ....and....The Smurfs

Insatiably happy....yea that's a good way to discribe it. I love it. I can't imagine being any other way.

What's funny too about the hair was at the time everything I wore was SUPER big. It wasn't cool to wear unless it was 5 sizes to big-LOL! Not like the low rise form fitting jeans today. I'll have to find my pic of what I then thought of as the most perfect jeans in the world. Huge bubble of fabric held on with an elastic waist! YES AN ELASTIC WAIST at the age of 21!!!

Those darn banana clips never fit in my hair back then, my hair was way to thick. But oh yea I had a few bottles of the mousse.

What about the cool way we would wear our collars *cringe*. Sticking straigh up-hahha

Thanks Yin, yea pretty much how I am.

I still have my legos....still love them. I personally think they are the best toy ever invented. Embarassingly I took my smurfs to school...my only excuse is...everyboby did it.

Legos rule! My main toy for most of my childhood...I just holed up for hours building empires. And it's so weird, I was just thinking about a week ago that I miss Legos and want to get my hands on some. I think it's the Saturn transit kicking in
I'm going to order some

Okay, I can't hold out any longer. I have to show off my kiddies. My hubby doesn't know I've been posting a thread all about me or that I have photos up, and I know he wouldn't want the boy's photos up.....but since this is from years and years ago...maybe just these few won't matter.

My boys are now 14 and 17 years old.

This is my oldest.

This is my youngest. I was going through a knitting phase at that time and knitted a jumper for him-LOL!

Your boys are SOOOOOO adorable, OMG

I love that jumper you knitted for your son, it's awesome! And he looks all happy wearing it too

I never got into knitting (though I know how), neither did my mother, but my grandmother used to knit and crochet me the MOST amazing clothes. It's always so meaningful to wear

Okay, here's another pic of me.
Again, this is very typical of me. I HATED having my picture taken or letting any one see them. Now I'm totally into it. I've learned how to work the timer, windows photo gallery lets me crop of adjust exposure, turn them into black and white. I love it, every minute of free time I grab the camera and take pictures of something, often myself-haha. I know how this works....one minute I'll just have had enough and I'll be done with it and won't pic up a camera for months. *sigh*

I actually worry when I dislike something too strongly...because I know it's only a matter of time before I'm crazy about it....really is kind of bazaar, I know. But I've had this happen, so many times. If there is someone I really hate, I always take a closer look at them and my feelings because sure enough it will mean there is something about them I REALLY, REALLY like.

I don't want to come out sounding like a nut, but since this is an astrological site, I think it's shows how uranus/pluto in 1st opposite saturn opperates. Of course I also attribute this to mars/venus (in aquarius) squares neptune.

Generally speaking I'm not someone who is easily bored. If nothing else, I find myself amusing.

I have a digital sony...no photoshop, but just between you and me,I do have gimp, and I know how to use it-hahaha!

Right now I'm turning everything to black and white...just a phase. And I love cropping. Just learned how to take the timed shots, I must have about 200 pictures of myself by now-LOL!
