I have Saturn in Libra and I don't feel anything special for Libra men.
Most of the guys I've ever fallen for were/are Aquarius Sun, there's just something about them that I love. My MC is in Aquarius

Very interesting. With my saturn in the 7th I'm never able to seperate the two things (saturn and the type of people I'm attracted to).
For me it does sort of stem from a father issue (howevever I am a capricorn).
My saturn is in pisces, the things I fear and hate are the usual things that are associated with the worst aspect of that sign. For example druggies. Yet that is exactly the type of man that would catch my eye and hold it the way a rodant is mesmerized by the cobra before it.I knew I would have to deal with those issues through that person, it's almost as if it was the safest way to deal with the things I was afraid/facinated by.

I think you're on to something. I think the things we fear have a pull on us because karmicly we got burned by those issues. But we are not unfamiliar with them, we just don't want to be burned again. If we could just do those things without any consequences....

and that's where the other people come in. We can live these things vicariously.

Interesting theory... I have Saturn in Scorpio and I love Scorpios. They are quite possibly some of my favorite people and the people that I learn the most from. Haven't had a long term relationship with one (but then again, I seem to be good at short term relationships, but not long term ones). However, I have always been insanely attracted to them. Weird.

On the south node though, I can say that I've never dug the Sadges. They aren't my style. I ONCE had a crush on a Sadge and that was only after knowing him as a friend for a LONG time.

My Saturn is in Leo ( 10th House conjuncting MC, my Venus is also in Leo, but in 9th) and I simply love Leos! I get pretty well along with them , they are fun to be with. I feel secure with them and inspired by.

Btw, my father has his Sun in Leo. He is an authority figure for me, of course, he is also restrictive in some way, very saturnian :-D, but I know he means only good .

My Saturn is in Leo in my 12th house and exactly sextile my Sun and Merc in Gemini and out of sign conjunct my Mars in Virgo. I swear (and I hope I don't jinx this by saying it), I have never met a Leo female that I didn't get along with almost instantly. I dunno. Maybe it's because my Mom is a Leo with a Libra Moon conjunct mine. We always got along and still do.

I have been attracted to Leo females but I think my biggest weakness is for Libra females. However, if I met a Leo female with a Libra Moon, Leo Merc, and Cancer Venus conjunct mine, it would be a match made in heaven LOL! I love their personalities and I can deal with their pride issue LOL!

------------------
Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚
Gemini Sun 24˚
Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house)
Gemini Mercury 25˚
Cancer Venus 29˚
And yes, i'm a guy!

I see a lot of people confirming the theory have Suns that are complimentary to the signs they're talking about. Virgo having a passion for Cancer? Sounds fairly par for the course for any Virgo who's been with a Cancer. Libraschoice likes Leos, a fellow masculine sign, or Aries, her opposite sign. etc. etc. I'm sure you can see what I'm saying.

My Saturn is in Gemini in the 1st. I like Geminis, but I haven't had the opportunity to date many of them. I'm also sometimes attracted to Aries, but that seems to happen amongst the modalities, that you like other people of the same modality.

My South Node is also in Cancer, but I'm a Capricorn Sun, so it would make sense for me to be attracted to Cancers. I have dated a number of Cancers, but they never work out, so I've pretty much sworn them off.

Most successful relationship is terms of longevity has been with the sign my Venus is in as well as the sign on my 7th house cusp: Sagittarius.

Leapinglemur14, I totally feel the same way about Sagittarius Suns or Asc. I just met a Libra Sun with Sag. Asc. and I've hit it off with this person big time. We also both have air Venus (Gemini and Libra) and Sag. Asc., plus I'm a Leo sun, so Libra Sun is sextile Leo Sun. My south node is in Virgo, and I think my north node in Pisces has more of an influence than my south node with the attraction part. MyVirgoMask, I think your theory about being attracted to the sign your Saturn is very true for me, especially since Capricorn is on my 2nd house cusp, and I have Sagittarius Saturn which is in my first house...

------------------
Sun - Leo
Moon - Pisces
Ascendant - Sagittarius

I've never enjoyed capricornians. I have a mess of planets there. That might be throwing me off. (cappy moon, neptune, uranus, saturn)

I also don't enjoy the company of virgos where my south node is.

I'm weird like that

So that's interesting, that's a whole mess of responses. I'm still feeling there's something karmic to Saturn signs in relationships, don't know. But as AG's pointed out, a lot of them are compatible with our Sun signs too (what's you Midheaven in, btw?). Maybe the aspects to Saturn also say something, describe things further...

A couple of people have pointed out attractions to people who share their Midheaven - I can totally relate to this also, and I've seen it in others. I just feel it's not the same kind of attraction for me. But I also think for myself it's hard to distinguish, what with the South Node and Saturn in Cancer, and the Midheaven in a sign that's the very opposite.

At any rate, this is my way of trying to look at Saturn in a more positive way... and for me this helps, because when I read Saturn and then read 'structure' and 'discipline', etc.., it feels very impersonal to me. I guess my mind is trying to relate to Saturn on a more personal level, to integrate it in more practical way, and sometimes I feel the way to practical can be personal...
I know that right around my first Saturn Return I began to feel a part of me having a strong urge to somehow tap into more of my Saturn in Cancer: I felt ready to be more vulnerable, more open to my own feelings, and wanting to embrace that part of myself.
So my weakness wasn't a weakness, because I felt myself drawing a lot of strength from it actually.
And I've found that I really still admire and become attracted to those qualities in others, which is interesting.

My MC is in Aquarius. I find Aquarius' to be attractive generally. I wouldn't mind dating one if the opportunity arose. Their sexuality is intriguing to me as well. I wouldn't characterize myself as having a passion for them, but that's ok as I think too much passion is a bad thing.

My Saturn in Gemini trines my MC in Aquarius. It also trines my Uranus in Libra. Uranus is a little out of orb for the trine to my MC, so it's not quite a grand trine.

Saturn in Virgo, Aries south node here.

Virgo males have never been a big attraction, no significant crushes on any guy with that sun sign. I've been attracted to Aries though, but the sign Aries falls on my 5th house cusp... so romantic attractions to people of this sign are understandable.

For identifying someone’s type when looking at the natal chart first I check the obvious things… 5th house cusp and ruler, plus planets in the 5th for… who is romantically exciting to you (also check the sign next along after the cusp sign if a large part of it falls into the 5th house). Then, 7th house cusp and ruler, plus planets in the 7th house for…who gives you a feeling of sweet liking. And last but not least, 8th house cusp and ruler, plus planets in the 8th for… who attracts you in an intriguing ‘lets merge’ type of way…

Then if these placements show no clues I look to the HIDDEN INDICATORS OF ATTACTION…

The first one is the house cusp symbolically related to the sign of the DSC. For example, if you have a Pisces DSC look at the sign on the 12th house cusp to sigh who else you could be attracted to (also look at planets in the 12th and the sign of the cusp ruler). If you have an Aquarius DSC look at the 11th house symbolism for extra clues. For a Capricorn DSC look to the 10th house and so on through the zodiac

I call the house symbolically related to the DSC sign the ‘Extended DSC’ because it can function as an extension of the 7th house in terms of what you attract.

Celebrity example…

Katie Holmes has Leo rising with Aqua in the DSC, and Tom Cruise’s Sun falls in Cancer in her 11th house…Tom Cruise has Scorpio rising with a Taurus DSC, and Katie’s Sun falls in Sagittarius in his 2nd house.

The second more hidden indicator of attraction is the VERTEX AXIS…

If a person has an important planet in their chart conjunct of oppose your natal Vertex in synastry this can indicate that this person will have a significant impact on you, and their influence will linger in some way on your psyche… for good or ill.
The Vertex and Anti-Vertex are said to represent your unconscious DSC, in the sense that you may consciously look for the qualities of your DSC in others, but you also need the energies symbolized by the Vertex axis in a relationship (either side can work in a DSC like way). For example, someone with a Gemini DSC with Jupiter in the 7th (me) may look for a Gem-Sag type energy in others, to put a little fun in their life, but if they have the Vertex in Taurus, with the Anti-Vertex in Scorpio, then they also need financial security and deep trust and intimacy in their relationships (and in my case this is certainly true). Even if there is no conjunction or opposition to either side of this axis by degree, it is not uncommon to find these two signs popping up over and over again in a partner’s chart. This axis represents traits we might not even be aware we are attracted to until someone with these qualities shows up in our lives and awakens us to these tendencies.

Celebrity example…

Katie Holmes’ Vertex is 12 degrees Capricorn; Tom Cruise’s Sun is 11 degrees Cancer. Katie’s Mercury is 6 degrees of Sag, and Tom’s Vertex is 8 degrees Gemini.

Brad Pitt’s Vertex is 28 degrees Cancer conjunct Angelina Jolie’s Venus/Asc conjunction at 28 degrees Cancer. Angelina Jolie’s Vertex is 11 degrees Sagittarius conjunct Brad Pitt’s ASC at 12 degrees Sagittarius.

It’s work checking out…

I thought everybody used Cash/Carter union for this kind of thing

Unfortunately my MC is also in capricorn, so no luck there either.

I like saggies or saggie Ac people. But all I have there are sun(8th) and mercury(9th)
