I am with my shadow right now...My Saturn is in Virgo (North Node too) so my shadow is Pisces. My Neptune is conjunct her South Node, plus she is the the most Neptunian person I've ever met, which just adds to the fiasco. "Where the hell did that come from?" Ah, the perfect question! IP: Logged |

What Good girl is saying, PEEpee, is that your shadow is the sign that your Saturn is in. So you basically would get annoyed with nitpicky Virgo behaviour. So when you are glossing over a wonderful spiritual vision you have(SN Pisces) and some Virgo type comes in and says hang on a minute, didn't you just say the complete opposite, and where is your argument now after what you said yesterday, and btw I thought you said you DIDN'T like people blown up with Botox and now you're saying your GF should get it if it will improve her looks! And, because you have NN in Virgo, you will probably feel you have to grudgingly consider these things, lol. And, what's worse, because Virgo might be your shadow, you are inclined to be that nitpicky Virgo on occasion - walk out of restaurants if the floor has a few crumbs on it, and flatly refuse to eat your Aunty's lasagne if its not the exact recipe of your mothers!! What say you!? IP: Logged |

My Saturn is in Scorpio in 5th.But my sun and pluto are also Scorpio in 5th. So I don't know. I like the energetic-intense side of Scorpio, but I don't like it when feelings are kept hidden, are not expressed, or when people are too artificial, or too strict about things. IP: Logged |

quote: Robert Blashke gives following clues to find one`s shadow: 1. planets in 4th, 8th and 12th house, that are in square or opposition
Interesting stuff DD. Re No. 1 my Saturn is opp my Sun in the 4th quote: 2. Square, quinkunx or oppositions from Sun or Moon to Pluto
See above quote: 3. retograde personal planet in square, opposition or quinkunx
Saturn is Rx in my chart quote: 4. T-squares, Yods or Grand Crosses with interceptions in the watery houses
Saturn in a t-square with my Sun/Merc and Uranus. I have no interceptions in my chart though. quote: 5. unaspected Sun or Moon or personal planets (only aspects used: conjunction, sextile, square, trine, opposition)
Unaspected Venus in Sag/9th quote: 6. Predominance of bodies in water signs (especially with defiency in earth or fire)
I have no earth planets. I have only two water planets: Uranus and Saturn quote: 7. South Node conjunctions to outer planets within 5°
None quote: 8. Progressed lunations falling in the shadow degrees of the zodiac (9°-10° Virgo; 14° - 15° Sagittarius; 27°-28° Pisces) - don`t know whta that exactly means though.
Neither do I. Does that mean planets that are currently progressing through these degrees? Possibly Neptune if so. In my life, I have quite a few Cap risers and quite a few Cancerian Suns in my life. I wonder if this ties in with the Saturnine thing going on up there but I get along with them fine. However I do admit that I hide my Cancerian-like qualities in my personality. Surprisingly, according to the delineation in Astro.com, the sign is fourth strongest in my chart. As I've said, I try to not show my tenderness and fear of being hurt. I'm very crabby that way and yes I love security and always have horrible thoughts that I will be homeless (and I still don't own a house) and without my family. IP: Logged |

Chryseis: In that case, no I haven't met my shadow, except to say that I am both the darkness and the light....I love strongly Virgo influenced people and they are the only people other than Scorpios who can tolerate me. I cannot stand Pisces/Neptune people, they drive me absolutely batty.

Plutona, then perhaps Saturn is well liked in your chart ie. makes sextiles and trines. If so, then perhaps too, Saturn is a welcome influence and therefore you probably utilise the 'shadow'. Maybe all planets have a shadow. Maybe some feel Saturn's shadow more keenly because we are already generally under a little pressure from Saturn. IP: Logged |

My Saturn is in Aquarius and that is my chart ruler if I can remember correctly. My descendant is in Cancer. I have NN in Capricorn and SN in Cancer.Um let me think of things that get under my skin.. I don't really like people who just befriend you to gain something such as if you were rich and popular and someone just befriends you for the status of high class. I don't want to be babied or spoiled. I hate to feel useless. People who hurt others for the sake of getting the upper hand. I don't like people who throw others under the bus. O.o Also a part me is trying to get use to clingy people that need reassurance often. I think thats it.. IP: Logged |

Shadow is the "not me, but apparently is" vibe. That is house 7. My shadow is therefore Leo.I guess that means I should get irked by arrogance in others. Sometimes yes, but I know I can be like that at times. IP: Logged |

Chryseis:Outside of its generational square with Neptune, the only other aspects my Saturn makes are sextiles to Mercury, Uranus, and the Midheaven. I have said for quite some time that it is the anchorage of an otherwise very volatile chart. It doesn't help that I'm feeling Saturn's influence very keenly right now with my exact Saturn Return coming up at the end of August! IP: Logged |

Plutona, Yeah, I guess so. Saturn return is a major time. Robert Hand refers to it as a time to 'prune' your life of things that you don't see are right for you so yeah there can be endings and beginnings for some - but not everyone, some people can hold onto things, not wanting anything to change and leave it for later in life, or modify it perhaps. I attempted a change then but didn't end up succeeding until Saturn was conjunct my Moon and squaring natal Saturn - several years later. Still, onward and upward, as they say... IP: Logged |

Find this topic very interesting. I have Saturn in Virgo 10th house. It conjuncts mars, squares Neptune and sextile Mercury. Thinking of the shadow. I have had many ups and downs with Pisces/Neptune types. Mostly all negative. I have a lot of family with pisces sun's or strong pisces/ neptune in their charts. Drug abuse, deception, game play and manipulation is what i've dealt with... Now I understand that not every pisces I run into is going to be this way. My grandmother was a wonderful woman who I look up to and she herself was a pisces and so is my niece. Another wonderful human being. I feel that it's a side of myself I struggle with, drinking away my sorrows when life gets tough, always battling that responsibility thing we all just love to do. lol Sometimes I'd rather hide, or run from it all together... do I think I portray all the negatives that I've dealt with or run into with pisces no. but I've seen many parts come up to the surface within myself. which I dislike... I have a lot of virgo in my chart. IP: Logged |

Idk, Saturn is in my 7th in Sagittarius, but it is also my Sun's ruler and my Sun is in my 9th so Sagittarian traits do not bother me because I own and embody them myself. For me it has always been Virgo behavior. Virgo is on my SN and my 4th house. IP: Logged |

My saturn is in scorpio, but scorpio isn't actually my shadow. I get along very well with them and feel completely at ease. I seem to have issues with people who have moon in cancer or females with Sagittarius suns.IP: Logged |

My Shadow is Pisces and for a long time I have found it was the easiest thing ever for substance abuse. To keep drinking, eating, sleeping.. you name it... Just keep going with it until I'm at a dangerous point ....I'm attracted to Pisces like symbols and people but I guess I forget to recognize it is a part of myself, sometimes. -------------------- “It’s OK if you mess up.
