Yes, my ex has aqua rising. Jupiter is transiting his 1st too. The last time I saw him (a couple of weeks ago)I was shocked to see how much weight he had gained. Glad I'm not around anymore. :/IP: Logged |

Jupiter going through the 1st will make you gain weight if you're predisposed to do so.If you're naturally skinny or have a fast metabolism you wont gain weight. Look out for Jupiter through the 2nd, that is the ultimate weight gain transit IMO. IP: Logged |

Now tell us which transitting planets = weight loss, please. I've had enough of the weight gain back when Jupiter transitted Scorpio and Sagi. IP: Logged |

Saturn to Jupiter, Saturn to Venus, Saturn to Neptune, Saturn to Moon. Tr Saturn in the 1st & 6th. Tr Pluto in the 1st. Progressed Moon in an air signIP: Logged |

I would say Saturn transiting the first house = weight loss. Does the 2nd represent our relationship to food? IP: Logged |

Not necessarily. I've heard of people who've gone through Saturn in the first house, and they didn't trim their waistlines. Some actually gained weight. IP: Logged |

I guess it also depends on the aspects saturn is making while transiting the 1st house. IP: Logged |

nope. jupiter's been transiting my first house for a while, over a year i guess, and i have not gained any weight. i'm exactly the same as i always am. i do gain weight easily when i eat bread more than every three days or so, and i am 'predisposed' in that i am a taurus moon in the fourth, and because obesity skips a generation with the women in my family and i was next in line. dunno if that was just some weird coincidence, but it goes back a looong way. just eat healthily and you'll be fine. keep sweets and rich foods to a minimum; once or twice a week kinda thing. Limiting sweets intake is a little bit of a challenge...I'm a vegan dessert artist lol...but atleast my desserts aren't fattening and they have no cholestrol! IP: Logged |

Thanks for the responses. I shoulda known Saturn would be involved heartcakes~it's really, really difficult for some of us, but stay away from sweets, white breads, doughnuts, cake, you know all the really good stuff. It all turns to nothing but blubber unless you're active enough to burn it off. It's also a good way to avoid type 2 diabetes if it's in your family line. IP: Logged |

Mizz,I started a thread similar to this, but about Jupiter in the 6th. Many people did actually say they gained weight during Jupiter in their 1st. Hope this helps. http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum24/HTML/000207.html IP: Logged |

Ugh, Jupiter transitting my 7th and then going into my 8th has made me gain so much weight. I can hardly call myself "fat", but my appetite has been out of control and normally I'm very minimalistic and in control of my diet. With Saturn over my ASC/going through my 1st the past two years I was doing great, but leave it to Jupiter to muck that up a bit.. IP: Logged |

My first house is pretty big, so Jupiter will spend some time in it...It has entered my 1st house, and it's now transiting over my Moon...I gain weight easily, but I've actually lost some weight recetly...it's weird...IP: Logged |

Have t.Jupiter in my 1st and t.Saturn in my 6th. I have gained close to 10lbs. Watching what I eat *very* carefully, and exercise regularly. Can't seem to shake off the extra added bits, though.IP: Logged |

You know, I was thinking about that one, seems like the only logical explanation for weight loss, when I'm usually gaining weight...thanks for confirming my theory... IP: Logged |
