quote: Originally posted by Aries23Degrees: Saturn on a planet tends to make it more susceptible and expose its vulnerabilities. When I had Saturn on my Moon, I felt my emotions(and I mean the more tearful kind) were on the surface. I felt that people around me didn't "connect" with me emotionally. And it added to the feeling of wanting someone to hug me and tell me that I am loved. Around the same time, it crossed my Mars; making it difficult to resist giving up when challenges were met. I took it very personally when I didn't succeed at doing something that I put effort in. And this was also accompanied by a feeling of ;'what's the point?' constantly visiting my thoughts. And then it moved to conjunct Venus;exposing my romantic nature. Instead of "hiding" it,as is suggested erroneously by most sites. It seemed to scream it out;"hey look everyone.Look how lonely, alone and sad I am". But then I also felt that no one truly "listened". And when they did, I felt lucky.Like I wanted to keep them forever etc. Its real easy to fall in-love when Saturn sits on Venus(contrary to popular belief), because you feel so love-starved. Sometimes even a platonic warm touch from an attractive stranger, can give you the most awesome orgasm. I have Saturn-Venus conjunct nataly. My SO has Saturn,Venus,Sun conjunct in Libra. We may not show it to others. But we are the most sentimental, romantic people you'll meet. I think we appreciate each other a great deal. Since we are aware of how rare true connection really is. Saturn teaches you this when on your personal planets;that you must take nothing for granted.
And thank you for this! So insightful...it really makes me wonder. I think when Saturn hits the bullseye of my Venus I should have a clearer sense of it. But my husband's Saturn is conjunct my Venus, so I may have had this "transit" for so long, I'm numb to it by now. Just waiting here in my test tube called life, wondering how the experiment will play out... IP: Logged |

With Saturn RX and conjunct natal Saturn and opposite natal Venus (in the 7th H, no less) has been rough. All the men I was "sorta" seeing all fizzled out and they were wrong for me - but I was not listening to my intuition and forced myself to like these men, and then ended up getting rejected for the upteenth time. Gah, this transit is hard for certain. IP: Logged |

I am starting to feel like Venus is self esteem. When Saturn was opposing my Venus it seemed like a very rock bottom place. I had to go to therapy. When Saturn was in my 5 house, it pushed me to change my taste in men, and raise my standards. IP: Logged |

I like that....Saturn in 5th is "level up" on the romantic front. IP: Logged |

Transit Saturn is currently square my chart ruler Venus. It’s not the only “karmic” transit at the moment, Uranus is transiting my H8 Taurus stellium, Chiron is on my DSC and Pluto is opposite my H7 ruler Mars. It’s all really fitting considering that I’m going through a divorce right now. My self esteem definitely took a hit when my ex refused to work on our relationship together. But it was an important step for me. It resonates with the other stories in this topic about learning to raise your standards when it comes to relationships. I suspect that there’s still more to come as transit Saturn will square my nodes early January 2022 and then will move on squaring my Sun in the following months. IP: Logged |

I have Venus 1st opposite Saturn 7th ( r ) squre Pluto 10th, square chiron ( 4th )But I am not here to talk about the effects...majority of the things said about these aspects are true. Thats how I ve experienced them.. I am here to give hope to people who are scared of transit Saturn Venus square... I have 2 friends - they got married when transit Saturn was squaring their Venus. So, I highly recommend not to fear what is going to happen to your relationship. If its meant to be Saturn wont break it. IP: Logged |

I am experiencing Saturn square Venus and Uranus opposition Venus at the same time. I just want to be left alone, to be honest. I refuse to settle. Not looking for a relationship right now, I am also feeling burned out with social life and just prefer to stay at home. So I am feeling more reclusive. I used to be so afraid of these transits a few years ago thinking I would get dumped and hurt. Yet here I am doing the dumping . IP: Logged |

I can relate Isa. With anything in Taurus right now (my 12th house), I just want to be invisible half the time. Like right now, and getting followed. But with Pisces and Aries being my 11th house I have managed to get out and socialize too and enjoy it. IP: Logged |

When Neptune was conjunct my Venus I was in love with a f()ckboi who was going through a Uranus square Venus transit himself. Well when Saturn in Sagittarius came along and squared my Venus. It was time to burst the bubble. A bit after that, I met my now husband. When Saturn went retro squaring my Venus, we survived it. IP: Logged |

I think Saturn in conjunct Venus is wayeasier than opposition or square. I've seen couples strengthen their relationship or even get married when Saturn was conjunct one partner's venus! I can't say the same about the hard aspects. I've never experienced saturn opposite Venus but saturn squares currently my natal venus and it sucks At first, when Saturn entered Aquarius, I was still full of confidence but the more Saturn squares, the more my poor Taurus Venus (7th house) suffers. There is no potential partner in sight and those who are interesting are taken. My self esteem is not in the best shape and although I'd really like to be in a relationship, I'm at the same time terrified of getting heartbroken again and feel like I don't deserve a relationship and that I don't bring enough to the table. I'm short on cash and in relationships with other people, I was trying very hard to please them but did not get any credit for my efforts. I was even ghosted. It's a lonely time and I don't have much of a social life currently. IP: Logged |

@rockwell, I have an early Taurus Venus so the square to Saturn has already happened to me and I recognize the feelings of low self esteem. My relationship fell apart and that has been difficult but there have been opportunities as well.My Venus is in 8th house and Saturn has been squaring from 5th house and I actually started a new hobby in this period. I started singing in a choir and I still do. It was scary to start because I have no previous experience but it has been so much fun too. I have met new people as well and I’m slowly improving my singing skills, it has boosted my confidence. IP: Logged |

I'm very sorry that your relationship fell apart. I remember your posts. Was it about the divorce from your Pisces husband? How cool that your Venus is also in Taurus! That's a lovely placement. I have a late Venus in Taurus (23 degrees)♉ but it's still enough to feel the effects. Great hobby! Do you sing in a church? Its so important to stay active during this transit and a great advice There is worse than saturn square venus. I'm thinking of saturn quincunx venus right now... The square and opposition create fraction but it's still possible to make it work but with a quincunx it's impossible to balance the effects out. IP: Logged |

Thanks for sharing about the Saturn conjunct Venus transit! I have Venus in Pisces. So that's what I am going to experience next. Its great to hear that it's a solid time for couples. My husband and I have been doing so much work on our marriage. Things are starting to look up. Saturn in Pisces will be overall positive for me. The only issue will be Saturn squaring my Gemini Rising. I feel for my husband though. Because he is a Virgo Venus. We both have our Venus at 6 degrees. My husband will experience little relief. He has Virgo, Gemini, and Sagittarius allover his chart. But his Capricorn stellilum could soften the blow. We are finally having our honeymoon year after being married. While having our marriage beyond tested...to the point where we needed couples therapy. But we should get crackin on babies and stuff by next year maybe. IP: Logged |

I had no idea how much I needed this Venus square my Saturn transit. Making me see things as they really are. Seeing the worst so I can cut loose of things that aren't good for me. And anything squaring or opposing my Saturn right now...is way too intense for me because Pluto has been in conjunction my Saturn for years! Hallelujah for Pluto going direct...it's still squaring my Sun sign for a couple more months. IP: Logged |

Yes, it’s my Pisces ex. My dad was also a Pisces and there are a lot of differences between them, but both have a tendency to ignore the damage they’ve caused. Too sensitive to take full responsibility. As an earth dominant this really annoys me. My ex has his Taurus Mars/Saturn conjunct my Venus. So he was affected by the transit as well, but in a different way. quote: How cool that your Venus is also in Taurus! That's a lovely placement. Taurus Venus is awesome, it’s such a natural feeling enjoying the good things in life. Good food, a warm and cozy home, nice smells, soft fabrics… Even though my Venus is inconjunct ascendant (hello insecurities!) it’s also conjunct Jupiter and trine my Moon. It’s very easy for me to soothe myself with a comfortable environment…and a generous amount of chocolate 😁 quote: Great hobby! Do you sing in a church? It’s not a choir in church but we sing classical church music and perform twice a year in a church. Currently, we’re practicing “petite messe solennelle” by Rossini. It was completely out of my comfort zone to start with this hobby but I’m so glad I did. I’ve met some lovely new people. All a lot older by the way, also very Saturnian.🤣

Sometimes, with a quincunx/inconjunct, there is an unexpected connection. My Venus is inconjunct my Pluto (conjunct my ascendant), but Venus is also parallel my Pluto. This works like a conjunction. It’s always good to check for parallel’s to check whether there isn’t another “hidden” connection.

so this Venus square Saturn transit with Pluto also conjunct my Saturn......My fashion has been very I give zero sh-its if I actually go out. I usually dress very feminine. But with my minor health issue right now. Even my most low key outfit is a hard no for me right now. Leggings and a shirt. Because a lot of leggings suck in your guts. I've been wearing my husband's sweat pants and hoodie. Messy bun hair. Not even having my face washed. No make up. I'll be wearing a PJ top under my winter coat. I will put body spray on though. It can reveal a lot about them and Pisces likes to sugarcoat things and can easily create illusions, for example: fake interest/motivation/intentions. Mhh, your ex has saturn square saturn and saturn square mars transit. That sounds like a solid midlife / identity crisis! What is his moon sign? I was recently ghosted by one of my Pisces friends and I get what you mean when you say they ignore problems. It annoys me too and my Aries placements have zero patience for it. Pisces are like emotional seismographs, picking up every vibe in a room and when the mood is negative they like to disappear. Thing is, disappearing makes things worse and even Pisces can get it wrong about vibes... We should make a Venus in Taurus appreaciation thread Nice smells and fabrics? You name it! For me, Venus in Taurus is all about good quality - in every area of life I love fine fabrics, 'green' smells and fragrances, clothes that last more than one season, long lasting friendships and relationships are extremely important and loyality is a must. Like many Venus in Taurus women, I prefer natural beauty and usually look very natural in everyday life. No heavy makeup, but makeup that emphasizes natural beauty. I like older (or younger) ppl but not so much my own generation since I do already know everything about their zeitgeist. You can learn a lot from older ppl You have Pluto in Libra, right?

Anything between 19-29 degree cardinal needs to GTFO. It's too much with my 24 degree Saturn Capricorn and Pluto conjunct intensifying it all.I am kind of detoxing from social media on and off this entire month. I don't think/know if it's actually helping. Mercury Libra...GTFO. IP: Logged |

I'm going to have the transit of Saturn square natal Venus in 2023, mid-January to mid-April. But I haven't been thinking about it before now. It's only because the transit follows next in line after Saturn squaring my natal Mercury that I thought to look it up.While it is not necessarily something you look forward to, I'm not dreading it at all. I've been through Saturn to Venus transits many times, including while married and understand how to handle it. Every transit of every kind is nothing more than a window of opportunity. Some of them are less enjoyable than others on the surface, but none of them are happiness thieves. Hard Venus-Saturn transits tend to highlight self-worth / self-esteem issues. If such a transit accompanies huge disappointments in love, then it means you had lessons in reality about love — values, priorities, maybe even boundaries to some extent. Relationships require more effort during these transits, so if you're wanting fantasy it won't be so accessible. But many people have to pull their emotions back from others in order to find more objectivity or grounding. These are periods to beware of your heart in a very internal way, that you don't let it harden. Saturn to Venus transit periods offer a cooling off period, tests of the integrity of the heart, tests of underlying commitment or of the sturdiness of particular relationships (especially the square and opposition/contra-parallel). Relationships of good foundation will not fail during these transits. They may be tested in minor or major ways, but will improve if there is willingness on the part of the person undergoing the transit. In some cases, Saturn to Venus transits may expose some underlying bodily issues related to what Venus covers (depending on the natal chart arrangement). Things like heart, glandular, hormone or kidney issues. They key is to be constructive in love, in self-care, in honestly evaluating values and priorities. Do that, and we get on better track with less drama and more integrity. IP: Logged |
