I'd say the Venus person does because Venus is an inner planet and Neptune is an outerplanet. I believe that outerplanet people have more influence over inner planet people in synastry.

I believe that when an inner planet that is aspected by an outerplanet, the inner planet is being affected by the outerplanet. I believe that's definitely true in natal.

also there are other factors to consider like the natal charts, the composite, maybe even the Davison, secondary progressions in synastry and natal, the comparison of the composite chart with the natal, the comparison with davison chart with the natal

Venus midpoints might also be insightful into relationships

Hey guys,
Any thoughts on Node conjunct Neptune in synastry? As to my purpose in the relationship? My Node conjuncts his Neptune. My path or purpose would be a higher, more spiritual love with him? Or does he give that to me? It's my Node in Libra/11th house conjunct his Neptune in Libra/4th house. My node also conjuncts his Vesta.

And whatever the lesson is, I'm getting a do-over....because I had the exact same conjunction with my ex-husband.

What are your thoughts?

Raymond, so are you saying you use a 1 degree orb for all outer planet aspects?

In synastry with someone I'm having frustrating attraction issues with that I am trying to figure out, my Neptune is conjunct several of his planets and asteroids at wide orbs (Moon 5 degrees, Jupiter 6 degrees, Psyche 2 degrees, and then squared his Valentine and Amor, 3 degrees...and then conjunct his Uranus and semisquared his Cupido at 0 degrees)...so, in that case, would it make sense to only consider the Uranus conjunction? Are minor aspects felt between super-slow-moving planets/asteroids?

Overall, what would the aspect mean of lets say, my venus trine his neptune?
What about Mars trine neptune?

Other aspects in our synastry contradict what I thought venus trine neptune's meaning.

Hi,

I was looking now for Natal Charts of Astrologers in the Astrology Forums (in my mother language) they are dead or alive, but didn't find anybody. I don't know why such a mystery about them?

I have found again, what? Synastry: with long discussion. Few members wrote that Venus conjunction Neptune is the best Synastry aspects, it is »heaven aspect«.
The other wrote that Venus wants to live or be loved, Neptune wants isolation; Venus is the one that loves, Neptune lives in a dream, In that case Neptune person can't send away Venus ect.

I had the name for this aspect, but don't know where.

Hi Got Gemini,

When I see your story the other stories are no more so interesting.

Why did you marry if you are in love with other woman? Your marriage is what kind of marriage? Because you wanted to have family; you can't live alone or what is the reason?

I would like to know how that is when somebody's heart is on one side and he is on other side.

"The line that separates good from evil, cuts through every human heart" (Wisdom of the crocodiles)

I think maybe the same can be said for many feelings. Personally I think that you can have feelings for many people, love them in different ways.
And I would assume, that at one point GG thought he loved his wife, or maybe even was really in love with her. And sometimes we can love someone, even though a part of our heart still reaches out to an other.

Maybe it`s not that kind of love we are dreaming of, completely, with ALL our hearts, but it IS love nevertheless.

Personally, I could never do that in my life, getting involved with someone, when I knew and felt deep inside there might be still emotional or romantic ties to some other.
BUT the price for that is being alone.

It`s not for everyone. People usually are social beings and need contacts and physical closeness (most of them anyway). Actually without physical, emotional or mental contact babies die (there has been a horrible experiment proving this).

I also once read a saying in the I-Ging:

"Maybe sometimes we can`t do anything but exchange the love we crave for the love we have."

If you don't mind buena, I wouldn't mind attempting to answer this question.....

In a relationship of 2 people, a 3rd entity develops. That 3rd entity is the person(s) we become by being with that current partner.

That is, by being with someone, we do actually change behaviours, due to reactions, triggers, growing in and around the other.

As much as we are the person we wish to be, by continually being with a passive figure, different behaviours within ourselves would start to appear, compared to if we were with a more boisterous figure.

We only have 3 choices to deal with issues:

1. Put up with it.

2. Fix it.

3. Leave

If being married to a person brought out an adaptive behaviour that began to make us feel uncomfortable, it would be desirable to change something. If our partner is unable to help us fix it, and it's detrimental to our health to stay, then leaving is the only viable option.

Koi,

that third entity that develops, would that be found in the composite / Davison?

Maybe that would explain why some people seemingly seem to "change", when they get together?

Of course "change" only means, that we see sides of them, we haven`t seen before.

Good point, DD and a great way to describe our possible change!

I guess the composite is the perfect astrological way to describe that 3rd entity!!!

When I think of my 'current' composite and my 'potential' composite, then that explains everything LOL

Hi koi,

Here are reasons why people get married:

These are some of the reasons why people marry:

1. Want to be free from parents.
2. To have sex.
3. To ease loneliness.
4. To be happy.
5. To be an adult.
6. Because of a pregnancy.
7. He or she loves you.
8. For money.
9. For immigration purposes
10. You are in love with one another.
11. A desire to share your life with another.
12. To have a lifetime companion.
13. Realistic expectations.
14. Willingness to fulfill one another's needs and desires

Look Nr.10!

And then reality sets in

There are 'reasons', and then there are the following 12,000 days in which we are left wondering what our reason was in the first place

It reminds me of a joke. Now that we've married, we can save for our divorce!

Ok koi,

We can see double now!

Here is other list, longer.

When you are single:

1.You get the whole couch to yourself.

2.There's half as much housework, cooking, and cleaning to do.

3.You can watch whatever TV channel you like, without arguments.

4.You can get home from work at whatever time you like.

5.You get to eat the whole meal for two by yourself.

6.You don't keep catching every sniffle, cold and flu bug that your
spouse brings home.

7.You don't have to live halfway between your workplace and your
Spouse's workplace.

8.You can lie in bed in the morning for as long as you like.

9.Nobody sees what you look like first thing in the morning.

10.You can throw your dirty socks on the floor where they belong.

11.There's no pressure to make the bed in the morning

12.You don't have to worry about what the bathroom smells like when
you walk out of it.

13.No one snores

14.Smelly socks and skiddy underwear are not that big of an issue when
You're only washing your own.

15.On your way out you know that you're shoes are right where you took
them off yesterday.

16.We can stay in the shower as long as we want and don't have to
worry about conserving hot water for a spouse (or kids).

17.Burning the food is not a big deal.

18.You're not as accountable to anyone - if I want to do something, I just do it!

19.If you mess up your finances you have no one to blame but yourself.

20.You get the whole bed to yourself.

21.You can watch a late show on the bedroom TV and no one complains.

22.You have much more freedom to choose.

23.You never have to say where you've been or what you've been doing.

24.You can spend all you want or all you have, it doesn't matter.

25.You never have to worry about saying what you think, or having to
pretend you're thinking something that you're not.

26.You can eat what YOU want.

27.If you get fired from work you're not considered a loser, just unemployed.

28.You don't have to worry about what sort of food to buy and you can
eat whatever you want, whenever you choose.

29.You can surf the internet till you're eyes fall out if you want to.

30.You can spend all night on the phone without having to justify it.
o working

I love my Uranus!

Okay, I like these lists a lot, but I honestly think they are leading a bit away from the (astrological) topic (even though it is very intersting, how a thread about higher - spiritual- love led to smelly socks. ).

Koi,

what asteroids are you thinking of specifically?

Hi DD,

The second list is a Neptune list (living in a dream, isolation or monastery)

Number 27 made me burst out laughing!! My partner just added another reason for getting married..."becos' they're as dumb as sh1t". Gee, we really love each other

DD - Aphrodite, Adonis and personal name!

Oh Aphrodite and Adonis, yes, those two are a nice couple.

Suddenly I get a very heady vibe about them.
Out of this world, yet not spiritual, but magnetic and VERY sexual, but you never see too clearly.

Thousands violins are playing, the light of uncountable candles flicker before your eyes, and there`s that slight purple fog inside your mind that leaves you misty eyed, spellbound, in-fatuated, very musky (don`t know why I thought of that all at once. lol), sensual. You know it`s magic, you know, it`s a spell, you know it`s just because of this love-potion you drank on board on that ship (which you rather had not, Tristan and Isolde!), you know you`re hypnotised, mesmerized, you don`t see things and people for who they are, you know you`re entranced, bewitched, and yet you don`t care. You just wish this spell might never be broken, and this mist might never clear up and you take care that you have enough of that potion in your cupboard, just in case...

Now put Neptune onto these two and it all gets even more unearthy, magical, bigger than life. Maybe you even start to believe the illusion, or let`s say you start believing that miracles are not too much too ask.

BTW I have Aphrodite and Adonis both in Libra in 10th house. It IS possible that my view on them is influenced by that.

Thanks DD - No wonder you tuned into the vibe quickly with Aphrodite and Adonis being in Libra!!

I can't really apply those asteroids too much as the orbs are wide, but it was just a thought. The personal name asteroid really gets me though!!

I left you a question in Gzala!!

Koi,

actually Sappho and Apollo are also in Libra. ROFL

Aphrodite: 13°01 Libra
Sappho: 22°06 Libra
Apollo: 26°50 Libra
Adonis: 27°13 Libra
- Apollo and Adonis opposing my Draco Venus; Aphrodite opposes my Part of Reincarnation; Sappho conjuncts my DNA, opposes my Chiron and squares my Eros and Vertex and Sun-Moon-mp

And yes, I appreciate beauty and art.

BTW Jude Law has Apollo exactly conjunct his MC in Libra - no wonder he is considered handsome. (his Apollo also conjuncts my pluto exactly - not even going there in my mind. )

Your Aphrodite is conjunct my DSC 1*. Your Sappho is conjunct my Mars & Adonis 1*.

Conclusion: I could persuade you towards a Sapphonic lifestyle
