I wonder if those interpretations work with the 18th harmonics...especially the seminoviles

I have Sun seminovile Uranus with 3 minutes of arc and Mercury seminovile Jupiter with 3 minutes of arc. I wonder if those could be like Sun novile Uranus and Mercury novile Jupiter...especially with their being almost exact.

Sun novile Uranus: Revelling in one's individuality and one's difference from other people; going one's own way, regardless of the views of others.

Mercury novile Jupiter: Delighting in one's open-mindedness and freedom from restrictive thought-patterns; rejoicing in one's ability to spread good cheer through communication.

if I add the dwarf planets, dwarf planet candidates
the following 9th harmonics:

Sun Binovile Makemake - '59
Moon Novile Eris - '55
Moon Quadranovile Ceres - '46
Neptune Binovile Haumea - '31 (generational)

Venus Quadranovile Sedna - '18
Venus Quadranovile Midheaven - '33
Sedna Novile Midheaven - '52
Venus oppose Sedna/Midheaven midpoint - '07

I think the 9th harmonic configurations with Sedna are very similar to the 9th harmonic configurations with Neptune

Sun novile Saturn: Rejoicing in one's down-to-earth practicality and realistic and commonsense attitude to life; an anti-religious aspect.

They're 160 degrees apart.

Jupiter novile Neptune: Rejoicing in one's ability to combine freedom and optimism with a feeling of empathy with mankind, and to achieve freedom through the dissolution of the boundaries of the self.

40 degrees apart.

I wonder why they aren't exact conjunctions the 9th harmonic chart. They should be, right?

it depends on the orb of the 9th harmonic aspect in the regular chart.

the narrower the orb of a harmonic aspect in a regular chart, the narrower the orb of the aspect in that corresponding harmonic.

harmonic charts use considerably wider orbs like up to 12 to 15 degrees for conjunctions

the use aspects in proportion to the harmonic

so 12 degrees for conjunction
so 6 degrees for opposition
so 4 degrees for trine
so 3 degrees for square
so 2 degrees for sextile
so 1.5 degrees for semisquare,sesquiquadrate
so 1 degree for quincunx,semisextile

9th harmonic aspects are 40 degree series aspects

Novile is 40 degrees
Binovile is 80 degrees
Quadranovile 160 degrees

Trine which is 120 degrees is also a Trinovile, but the orbs should be considerably smaller for it to be a 9th harmonic, especially if part of a 9th harmonic aspect pattern

If a conjunction shows in a harmonic chart, it means that the two planets involved make that harmonic aspect. My 160 degree aspect does qualify as a 9th harmonic aspect. It may be technically a Quadranovile, but the interp would be either similar or the same.

hey I noticed with Novile (whether single novile, binovile, quadnovile etc) you always miss one element. Example: Sun is at 22 Taurus + 40 = 2 Cancer + 40 = 12 Leo + 40 = 22 Virgo + 40 = 2 Scorpio + 40 = 12 Sagittarius + 40 = 22 Capricorn + 40 = 2 Pisces + 40 = 12 Aries + 40 = 22 Taurus.
Notice no air element? Also all the elements have the same degree aspect. Makes it easier to see if its a Novile or not.

Sun novile Pluto[x4 within 2deg]: Rejoicing in self-punishment and self-belittlement; rejoicing in revealing oneself to the world 'warts and all'.

Uranus novile Pluto[within 2 deg]: Rejoicing in the feeling that, through total dedication, one is able to realize fully one's individual potential.

Saturn novile DC[x2 within 0 deg]: Joy in acceptance of one's earthly fate; joy in having an allotted role to perform.

Mars novile Neptune [1deg]: Rejoicing in one's ability to act in accordance with one's ideals and to serve others rather than oneself; rejocing in one's ability to affect others with one's idealism.

Mercury novile Mars[x4 within 2deg]: Rejoicing in one's ability to think positively, communicate forcefully, and act rationally; rejoicing in one's ability to achieve goals, and to convert thoughts into action.

Sun novile Uranus[x4 within 0deg]: Revelling in one's individuality and one's difference from other people; going one's own way, regardless of the views of others.

Mercury novile Neptune[x3 within 3 deg]: Rejoicing in one's ability to communicate in such a way as to 'touch' other people and make life happier for them; rejoicing in one's mental empathy with other people.

Moon novile Jupiter[x2 within 4deg]: Joy in being uplifted by one's environment; joy in responding to opportunities for growth and development; insinctive feelings of freedom and optimism.

Venus novile Jupiter[x3 within 0 deg]: Delighting in one's ability to express one's beliefs and values openly and expansively, and to affect others with one's joy and optimism; attracting others with one's qualities of warmth, openness and generosity.

This is really cool!

I can relate to a few of them, but it seems to be a subtle or well integrated influence on my personality.

Sun novile Venus: Obtaining joy and peace from appreciation of self; rejoicing in one's ability to please and attract other people; tending to compacency about one's attractiveness. (A common aspect among actors and performers with sex appeal.)

Sun novile Pluto: Rejoicing in self-punishment and self-belittlement; rejoicing in revealing oneself to the world 'warts and all'.

Moon novile Mercury(binovile): Joy in communication of perceptions and in articulation of feelings; happiness in the feeling that one understands the nature of the world.

Moon novile Mars(binovile): Joy in being energized by the environment and by other people; seeing the world as full of dynamic action; rejoicing in being able to change the world through one's actions.

Venus novile Pluto(binovile): Delighiting in one's ability to express one's beliefs and values ruthlessly and unflinchly, so as to affect and change the values of others; attracting others with one's qualities of unflinching dedication

Jupiter novile Saturn(binovile): Rejoicing in the ability to combine freedom with acceptance of one's fate, and to achieve freedom within one's prescribed role.

Saturn novile Uranus(binovile): Rejoicing in the ability to realize one's individuality within the constraints imposed by destiny, and to reconcile originality with the performance of duty.

Neptune Novile North Node Scorpio....
I'm assuming it would be like this interpretation....

Neptune novile Pluto: Rejoicing in the feeling that, through total dedication, one can break through into a higher truth and a more universal level of understanding.

Or this interpretation...

Mars novile Neptune: Rejoicing in one's ability to act in accordance with one's ideals and to serve others rather than oneself; rejocing in one's ability to affect others with one's idealism.
