well whats the exact degree plus minutes?5 degrees and how many minutes? if you rounded up to 5 deg from 4.57 then it's gemini dwad, but if it's like 5.02 then its cancer - you have to think about the minutes on the cusp between the dwads IP: Logged |

umm, if you figure out the new signs thats the easiest part, then you have to figure in the new degree, which is according to the minutes of each sign, something like 5 minutes = 1 dwad degree. rounding em up to the next mark, so youd look at the minutes in terms of 5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50,55,60 instead of 11, etc. 11 would be between 10&15 in your case so the asc would be....3 deg cancer.do this for all of em and you have a dwad chart. The Dwads change after 2,5 degrees of a sign.
For example: say you have Venus on 6°35 AriesThe Dwads for ARies are like this:
00°-2.5 Aries
2,5 - 5 Taurus
5 - 7 Gemini So your Venus is in Gemini-Dwad
Every Dwad contains 2.5 degree or 150 minutes.
NOw calculate, how many minutes your Venus is away from the beginning of the ARies Dwad (5°30)
It is away exactly 1° and 35 minutes
1 degree equals 60 minutes, so you could also say your Venus is 95 minutes (60 minutes plus 35) into the Gemini Dwad. Now you divide these 95 minutes by 5, and that will give you the degree of your Dwad. 95:5 = 17 So it means that your Venus is on 17° Gemini in Dwad IP: Logged |

Lara,I LOVE that article. And yes, I often, well always, find significant aspects between the Dwads and the tropical planets of someone, or even a significant aspect in the Dwads themselves, in the synastry with people who affect me on a deep level. I remember several times, when I felt that strong physical or emotional pull to someone, and the synastry was just utterly disappointing, Draconics were meaningless and there was nothing in the progressions.
BUT in these cases I have found the Sun or Mars of these man opposing the Dwad Conjunction of Venus, Eros and Vertex in Pisces in my chart! Of course my Dwad Venus is conjunct my tropical Jupiter, which is my chartruler, so it is important in any case. IP: Logged |

I have Sun on 25°56 Sagittarius and on 11 Libra Dwad, conjunct my tropical Pluto on 9 libra.
So it seems like I am having a conjunction from Dwad Sun to tropical Pluto - no wonder there are so many Scorpio`s in my life. lol
My Moon is on 17°06 Aquarius, 25 Leo Dwad.
My ASC is on 7°01 Sagittarius, 24 Aquarius Dwad, thus my Dwad Moon sits on my Dwad DESC, and funny, my Draco Moon also is conjunct my tropical DESC.
My Venus is on 6°07 Capricorn, 13 Pisces Dwad.
Vertex is on 21°28 Cancer, 17 Pisces Dwad,
Eros is on 20°59 Cancer, 12 Pisces Dwad.
My natal / trpical Jupiter is on 11 Pisces and my Juno is on 17 Pisces.
does that mean that what you see is my chartruler Jupiter (radix), but under its "wings" comes the package of Venus, Eros and Vertex (Dwad)?
Beneath a philosophical, broad, seemingly intellectual and tolerant behaviour (radix Jupiter), there are some other more erotic things hidden?
And someone who would trigger or speak to my Jupiter, my philosophical side, would at the same time unknowingly also trigger those deeper feelings?
EDIT:
I think I am going to go over a Dwad synastry with someone, I feel is or could be the catalyst for something inside of me. Thus I am expecting strong conjunctions / oppositions from his natal planets to my Dwads.
BTW I disagree with the article in so far as I think it is the DWAD person who is affected the most. After all it is their deeper layer or feelings that are being awaken, and the natal person maybe doesn`t even realize what impact they made.

DD - is the degree of the DWAD the same as the sign... for example,taurus sun 6'
