My brother has Venus CNJ Ascendant, I have the opposition. Same Venus sign. Same Sun Sign as well. You would pick him out of a room of men as being my brother. He got the looks.

But I do hope there is more to us than a beauty competition. Venus on the angles is more about social interaction, in my view.

Beauty is universal. One or two people who don't find you beautiful won't suddenly make you ugly, or stop you reaping the rewards of having a beautiful face.

I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I think that it depends on the culture
also time periods too.

for instance, there was a reason why Miss Black America pageant was created. There was too much of the white woman ideal of beauty for black women to be considered in Beauty pageants. In 1984, Vanessa Williams became the first black Miss America. However, she wasn't the average looking one. She is defintely mixed with tan skin,brown hair,and green eyes. even the runner-up,Suzette Charles was mixed black-white.
also there was a focus on "good hair" and "bad hair" when it came to black people's hair. If the hair was tight kinky,it was seen as bad hair. If the hair wasn't tight kinky,it was seen as good hair.

The thin nose that many whites have tend to be viewed as more attractive than the broad noses that many blacks have.

certain aspects can be tricky.

there are lot of people that are considered highly attractive but have serious relationship issues. so do their Venus have mixed aspects or what?

Some people are highly attractive and consider themselves ugly. That's called dysmorphia. They focus on a nonexistent or small flaw in their appearance and they see it as something big that makes them look ugly.

and yes vanessa williams parents are both 1/2 white. i'm mixed as well. asian with european ancestry. there was a study about eurasian beauty in terms of the science of it, but let's not go there...

although i still think beauty is objective but it is also subjective. but overall on the basic level, its objective. and i don't think its specifically features 100%.

i think its an 'overall'

a great feature on a face outweighed by non great features, doesn't make the whole face great does it? it is a battle between objective and subjective here.

but what proves that beauty is objective definitely, is that there is such a thing as a person Being quite ugly, and a person being Quite Good looking, easily to the point where even some one with personal taste can clearly see the difference.

i think when beauty starts to get into different leagues of beauty (as does how ugly people can be to one another) it turns more subjective! aka beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

some very attractive people can have overall a very attractive face, but still have the odd feature that is Not attractive at all, or even to be considered an Ugly feature.

thats why things like nose jobs exist. (i think)

And iv seen some very nice faces on here, and couple of those have a less than particularly nice nose (as an example) amongst the overall beauty they have!

In vanessa Williams'case, she has Uranus and Pluto making sextile to her cancer ascendant, lending her electric charm and smoldering sex appeal.

She has Venus conjunct Saturn, not exactly beauty queen aspect, but is happening in Aqua so Saturn is comfy there and she has been able to utilize her beauty in a shrewed and unusual way.

I still think that it really depends on what one perceives is beautiful though. perceptions are relative.
