btw..I don't believe that there is any such thing as good aspects nor bad aspects.

Cosmobiologists actually use only the conjunction, opposition, square, semisquare, and sesquiquadrate when looking at charts. They see those aspects as the event-oriented aspects. Those are the only aspects use with midpoints too.

moon square mercury can sometimes suggest sleep problems to.

I don't use minor aspects like semisquare, and sesquiquadrate. I do like midpoints however. Do you study or research Uranian astrology then??

Anyone wanting to explore or learn midpoints..try here.

Looking at someone's lunar sign is just half the process to really understanding their emotional nature; aspects are what really show the true nature.

Pisces is my Moon sign and it is quincunx my Sun square my Asc. ruler Jupiter and sextile Neptune and trine Pluto. Sun-Moon aspects really conflict with expressing the self and the moon sign as well... [/B]

well pointed out
so talking about generics such as a planet is a sign is ONLY taking into account 1/3 of what you should be talking about, the other 2/3 are house and aspects. Personally I would prefer to SEE a chart where planets are posited and how they are aspected for a more full picture rather than seeing just 1/3 of a picture.!!!!

I've seen a lot of quincunxs on this thread for some reason. Yours suggests that your parents prob didn't understand each other?

Sun Quincunx Moon
“Your perceptions of others and of life circumstances alter as you get older. As others misunderstand your intentions and you misjudge others' motivations, natural corrections occur for you. It is through concentrating on the core values of communication in relationships that you make major adjustments between your ego drives and your emotional needs. This becomes a critical mechanism for personal growth and development” http://www.cafeastrology.com/natal/quincunxinterpretations.html

“your ties to the past and to emotional security are misaligned with the ways in which you consciously express your will and desire. The resulting stress is usually seen in your relationships. In your desire to hold on to old friends and associates, you make enormous ¬concessions. You create situations that bind you with obligations to people and that are difficult to free yourself from. You so complicate your life this way that one would suspect your enjoy suffering at the hands of others. “
From the book ‘Aspects and Personality’ by Karen Hamaker-Zondag

ima guy
my moon is in leo
it is in the 10th
it is conjunct mc
apex of 2 t-squares (1 w/ my other 2 dominants venus/pluto the other with merc)
it's also a dominant planet
it is out of bounds

it depends on the situation but alot of people think i am fire dominant (i am earth-water),then some also pick up my asc in scorpio, and only the people that really know me see my taurii side.

Not particularly. First thing you notice is someone's phsyical body and appearance. this is YOUR Ascendant sign...not sun, or moon....

Basic astrology
Now basically your sun sign is your 'core beliefs, values, ego' and Asc is your physical body, mode of expression and mask and persona that we all wear and hide behind, but definitely not what's going on underneath. What's going on underneath is your Sun sign. Moon sign, house placements and aspects describe your emotional and intuitive responses, also describes your view of your mother, as saturn describes your father by sign and house position.

So, think of a glass milk bottle the bottle is your Asc and your sun the milk, but the milk still has to 'come out' through the glass neck of the milk bottle....

Now aspects within a natal chart represent 'facets' of our personality, because we are all multifaceted beings. What these do is 'break down and compartmentalise' these facets into smaller bite size chunks. This does take quite a lot of self analysis and objectivity to 'see yourself' and why you do certain things and behave in certain ways. Actually it can be quite good therapy...

Remember back to your school days an opposition is 180', square 90', trine 120', and sextile 60' Now challenged aspects are conj (depending on the planets, cos some like each other and some really don't) squares and oppositions. Easy aspects are conj (if the planets get along) eg: Jupiter conj Moon, sextile and trine. Quincunx is inbetween (depending on the planets) causes health strains and unresolved or hard to balance planets/energies.

Leo/moon/mc can be very showy and have a need to be centre of attention, but would also add restlessness and fluctuations, changes in career, work, status.

Out of bounds is an Traditional astrology term only used when practising horary for modern astrologers it means very litte. I have put some links for research if you read through somewhere though...

there is definitely some truth to that , but not that you cant see a womans sun sign as well, the women i know tend to show both sides equally, you can tell my mom is a virgo sun by her modesty and how she tries to please people but you can definitely see that fiery aries moon as much as her virgo sun if not more, she is impatient and impulsive and can have a temper from hades, her emotions are volatile but usually change quickly. Men tend to cover up their moon sign until you really get to know them,i have seen this time and time again, most people only see my quirky, funny, smart, and friendly aqua sun side, they dont see my affectionate, romantic, and sensual taurus moon side. i have also noticed other guys with water moons put on the poker face alot and act as if nothing affects them when they are really big softies
